| Nimue | Prologue

The sun beamed on our faces. It was always so bright all the time. The sun was this hue of pink. The color really had attracted the grass and the leaves in the trees were green and so vibrant. The most vibrant shade of green that you'd ever seen. The top of my head pressed against my sisters as we both laid out in the middle of the meadow. The grass was long. There were butterflies and moths flying in front of our view and particles of dust seen through the beams of the light.

"I'm in love." I said.

I rolled over onto my stomach, as my legs were swinging back and forth. My elbow is brushing against the earth's soils. My palms grazing up against my cheeks as I had them rested there while I giggled like a child.

"I'm so in love." I uttered through my giggles.

"I know. You told me a thousand times already." Nimana says with a dimple smile. I rolled over again, as the grasses gave kisses to my back.

"Nimana, he's just so perfect." I stared at the sky. The colors were light blue with a blush pink. Almost as if the sky was flattered. The colors were so exquisite like paint was splashed all over the atmosphere and the sky was its canvas.

"Oh really?" My sister held a funny tone in her voice which made me flip back onto my stomach to stare at her.

"Yes." I respond confidently.

"He makes me laugh, saying the funniest things!" I went on.

The memories fled my brain which made me giggle before speaking.

"One time, he said."

"One of these days when we get our own universe, our people are going to be smart enough to create something.. Something that could change their world forever."

"That's funny?" Nimana asked.

"I mean.. Akal is the God of time." Her voice lowered. I rolled my eyes at her snarky comment.

"He said that they will be able to fly.. And use these.. Horseless carriages with all four wheels!" I then laughed.
Nimana sits up. She stretches her arms above her head, and reaches for the sky while letting out this large lion yawn.

"Tomorrow is Genesis Day." Her voice sounded relaxed.

"The same day you will be given your title." My sister teased as she mercifully tickled me just by poking my side, and I let out a few laughs until there were tears. I was extremely ticklish everywhere.

"Stop it!" I cackled breathlessly. But her tickles became aggressive and her laughter were Guffawed. I thought I was going to pee myself as my cries became too real.
Soon she would have stopped. It was quiet. The moment of silence where all you can hear is the birds in the meadow.

"I really love this boy.." I went on about him again. I turn to stare at my sister. She was watching the sky. Then a thought crossed my mind and my face lit up.

"Nimana!" I yelled.

"What?" Nimana had a vex tone. I wonder if I had scared her. She turned her head so quickly, and became vigilant.

"You know him! You should put a word for me? I know I spoke to him before—" I was cut off with an immediate.

"No." She so slyly turned her head again. I wonder if she was aggravated that I scared her. I smacked my lips. She definitely was. My sisters gaze became siren like.

"Why? Please! I love him so much." I plead to her, and hugged her arm as I pulled her down with my weight as she attempted to evade me.

"I refuse to intervene with your love life, it's not my problem and I really don't want to stress about it!" She'd hollered. My sister was pushing me down, and pressed her hand against my face as she struggled to stand.

"Just once and I will leave you alone forever! I won't even talk about him around you!" I hugged her leg. She let out the most frustrated sigh. She was staring down at me with her hands in front of her face, however her vitriolic light brown eyes remained glinting at me with aggravation.

"Fine." She'd look up at the sky.

"Thank you my sister! Thank you! I love you so much." I leaped up and then aggressively hugged her.

"What you didn't love me before?" She rolled her eyes.

"No I didn't mean it like that.." I broke the embrace.

"I know, I'm just being mean." She held my hand.

After that we walked together, then made our way through the meadow and back to the city of empyrean.
The land of the Gods. The city was filled with all sorts of Gods and Goddesses from different dimensions. The city of empyrean is such a popular place because of it. It's a city of social or culture. A place to connect with others just to pop in and say:

     Yeah we exist.

Me and my sister go to the city often because of the beauty and to explore all that offers. Like the multi-theatre. A film-room that has live events of different dimensions and whereabouts of the living organisms there. We go there often because we think it's interesting how other worlds are so different. Although, sometimes we find doppelgängers from different dimensions. There is a specific doppelganger that we happen to find frequently. We call him Andy. My sister even made a game out of it.

       Where Is Andy.

Another interesting place in the city of empyrean is the habiliment. There is only one word that screams for such a significant place. Fashion. Another dimensional shop wear you can try on latest fashion trends from different dimensions.
Then last but not least, and well my favorite. The dimensional food court. Dimensional food is great! I love it! Best part about the city.

However today the city is filled with so many Gods and Goddesses that it's ridiculous. It was because tomorrow was Genesis Day. Something celebrated every millennium. To celebrate life as we know it. So it would be pretty horrible for me not to celebrate my lifetime here.

     Anyways.

My sister and I were walking through the crowded city then just by coincidence; we ran into Akal and his friend Erasmus. I smiled when I saw his face.
Akal, his hair was as black as coal, and his eyes were light in the night sky. He always looked as if he were glowing all the time. He wore this long sleeved shirt. One sleeve was rolled up, and revealed the hair on his arms along with his slightly bulky forearm. His collarbone popped out slightly. He wore many rings on his large hands and his brows were perfectly thick. He looked like one of those types of guys who caused the most trouble out of the group. But Akal was the complete opposite of that.

"Is that my lovely Goddess?" Erasmus said with a troublesome smile. I smiled at them both, then I glanced to my sister.

"Erasmus in public? Gods are going to think you're worshipping me." She let out a chuckle. My smile is still present as I try to converse with them as well. Without anything to say. I just jump in view of Akal.

"Hello Akal." I said to him.

"You brought your little sister along? She's grown since the last time I've seen her." Akal was studying me with his eyes.

"We last spoke yesterday? I don't know what you mean!" I let out a small laugh.

"Are you sure you haven't gotten taller?" He said to me as he compared height. I was only up to his shoulder. I hope I wasn't growing.
My smile became much more awkward then. The conversation immediately passed me. The trio walked in front of me while I was standing behind in their shadow. My smile was fading gradually as time passed in the darkness. But my faith was still there.
My sister and the boys has been friends since they were children. If anything they're extremely close. I am lucky for Akal to be in my life because of my sister.

  I am so lucky.

But every time she is around.

                I am just invisible.

It would be nice to be seen all the time instead of left in the dark.
