You stood in front of the wooden house trying to gather enough courage to knock. This was your chance to finally meet Dadan. You weren't going to chicken out.

You were nervous to meet her and the only reason for that was that Ace had so much respect for her. She raised him and he was thankful about it. You wanted to thank her as well for the job she took since rasing Ace surely wasn't an easy task.

When you finally knocked, the door opened a few moments later. The man, who looked like a chicken to you, mostly because of his hair, was surprised to see you at the door and he didn't said anything. Just a few seconds after he opened the door, Dogra pushed his way in the front to see who knocked on the door. Two of them just stared at you with their jaw dropped.

You raised your brows at them. Aren't they going to say anything? Oh, right... They were bandits. "Uh, hello? Is Dadan-san home? I would love to have a talk with her." You broke the silence. The two of them nod quickly and started to walk backwards slowly. Dogra held his finger up where as Magra had a wierd smile on his face.

"J-just a second..." Dogra said before closing the door. You were left stunned and confused at what just happened. What the hell is this about?

Magra ran to Dadan, who now was reading the newspaper and drinking a cup of sake. "Boss!" Dogra yelled. Dadan, annoyed at the sudden interruption, looked towards the two of them. "What?" She asked. "Remember yesterday? When you beat up Garp-san?" Dogra started. "There's a girl at the front." Magra stated.

"A girl?" Dadan asked confused. "It's the same girl who was with Garp-san yesterday!" Dogra yelled. Dadan began to sweat as the only thing she could hear right now was her heart. "A m-marine?" Dadan stuttered. "Boss, I told you not to go and beat up Garp like that!" Dogra scolded. "Ah! They came to arrest us after all these years?!" Dadan finally realized what was going on.

"Boss..." Magra mumbled worried over the situation. "You idiots! Don't let the marine outside! We gotta make a good impression! Dogra! Bring out the food!" Dogra nod and ran in the kitchen. "Magra... You... You come with me!" Dadan stood up.

You stood outside, waiting for the door to open again. This began to have a weird feeling. Before you could even stand up from the ground, the door opened and you were greeted by the one and only Dadan. Your face lit up once you saw her.

"Yes, welcome!" She said with a weird smile. You laughed and smiled as well.  She was probably as nervous as you were. "Hai~! I've been waiting to meet you, Dadan-san!" You giggled. Dadan laughed awkwardly and gestured to you to enter. Closing the door behind you, you analyzed the interior of the house. It seemed welcoming enough for some bandits.

Sitting down at the table, you were served immediately by Dogra with all kinds of food. You were surprised by their hospitality. Now, there's no wonder from where Ace got his politeness from. (XD I'm laughing so hard writing this, you have not idea)

"Ah, thank you! I was starving." You said as you began to eat. Dadan, Marga and Dogra, all three of them stood lined up, a little away from you. "I've been meaning to meet the woman who raised the Pirate King's child. I have to say, I'm impressed that-" Before you could finish your sentence, all three of them bowed in front of you, leaving you really confused.

"We're really sorry." All three of them said. You raised your brows at their apologize. Sorry for what? "Whaaat?" You asked confused. "We're sorry that we beat up Garp-san." They continued despite your confused expression. "Ah, yes, that isn't really-" But once again, before you could continue, you were cut off. "We don't want to go to prison." They finished.

After that, just pure moments of silence followed. They didn't move and inch and neither did you. "Wha-" When you finally broke the silence, the three of them started to apologize again. "Marine-san, we guarantee you this won't happen again!" They said in union. Marine-san?

"Marine? Wait up. You-" You couldn't finish the sentence and began to laugh. "You think I'm a marine?" You said between breaths. "Aren't you?" Magra asked confused as the three of them straighten up. "Haha, no!" You laughed. "I'm no marine." The trio looked at one another confused.

You continued to eat the food but you were stopped by them. "THEN WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" Dadan yelled. "My name's (Name)." You introduced yourself. "AND WHY ARE YOU STILL EATING OUR FOOD?" You tilted your head a little at the question. "Because I'm hungry?" You said in a 'obviously' tone.

You sighed at their confused expression. Just as you thought they knew who you were. "Well, let me introduce myself completely. I'm (Name), a Whitebeard pirate... Actually, I'm not sure if there's still a crew." You mumbled the last part. "W-Whitebeard?!" Dogra and Magra yelled.

"To put it simply, I was Ace's girlfriend." You said with a smile. Dadan didn't move an muscle as she heard that name. "Ace-kun..." Magra mumbled. "I'm in a sticky situation right now... I have to hide from the Navy as much as I can. I came to this island with Garp-san, since he was the only one who could help me." You began to explain the situation.

"When I came to this island and saw you, I remembered how Ace used to speak so highly of you when we were together." You told Dadan. Just as you said that, she grabbed her napkin and began to cry. You gave her an empathetic smile and giggled. "That idiot!" She exclaimed.

"B-but what's your problem that you have to hide from the Navy?" Dadan asked once she finally calmed down. You sighed and stood up. You lifted up your shirt and placed a hand on your belly. "I carry the Gol D. blood line." You announced. All eyes were on your belly. "Y-you're pregnant?!" Dadan yelled. "With Ace's baby?" Dogra finished.

You nod before you let go of your shirt. You sat back down on the ground at the table, as looked at your meal. "I found out I was pregnant right before the war. Me going to the war after having that information was a bad idea. I was kidnapped and drugged. I forgot my memories and by the time I regained them, it was already too late. Ace died and I was left alone with this responsibility on my shoulders." You began to tell your story.

"I know it won't be long until the Navy figure it out and they'll start searching for me. My silence is only adding to their suspicion. I have, let's say, two years or so before they'll finally hunt me down again. Since there's no news on either the Whitebeard pirates and the Straw Hats, I have no coordinations on where I should go. I decided to remain here for as long as I can." You finished.

"That brat is having a kid of his own?" Dadan absorbed the information. You only nod at her. "And so I guess you're here to ask me to raise the brat?" Dadan joked (but she hoped that wasn't the case). You shook your head. "I didn't came here to ask for any favors. I just came to see the woman who, because of her, I managed to meet the most amazing man in my life." You said with a smile.

She began to cry once again. "Dadan-san..." Magra smiled emphatically. "He found true love, didn't he?" She cried. You only giggled at her. "I suppose what we had was true love. I just... I just wished it lasted longer." You looked at the ground.

The chances of finding someone like you were low and yet, fate brought us together. Every second with you seemed like an eternity and yet you left from heart as fast as lighting, the same way you entered in it. But was it too much to ask for a lifetime with you... Ace?
