Chapter 2 - Little Star
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are...
You woke up in the middle of the night, sweating, probably running a fever as well. After being unconscious for three days, last night was the first time you opened your eyes ever since you were here.
However, you haven't healed entirely and that mysterious infection on the right side of your neck seemed to get worst as the hours passed by. Being the middle of the night, you tried your best to stand up from your bed without making any sounds. You just wanted some fresh air...
Tiptoeing all the way towards the front door, you almost fell down on your knees once you exited the house. The wind went through your hair as the fresh air hit your face. You let out a deep breath and walked further away from the house.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.
Something about that woman seemed very strange. She seemed familiar but you were sure that it was just your imagination. But even if it wasn't your imagination, shouldn't she recognize you?
Once your feet landed on a soft surface, you stopped and looked down. The soft sand looked like silver with a little gold in the light of the moon. The ocean obtained a breathtaking sparkle while the moon refected itself on the uncolored surface.
Someone would say that it was an amazing scenery and yet you, you only thought as something natural. Something that you have seen a thousands of times and yet, it was your first time seeing it.
When the blazing sun is gone...
When the nothing shines upon.
You felt like crying. The constant fear and paranoia hunted you and yet, you didn't knew what you were so afraid of and that's what scared you most. What if you fell into the enemy's hands without you even knowing that it was the enemy. What if you trust the wrong person?
What exactly happened to you? Who were you? Sitting down on the sand, you felt the water reaching the tip of your toes. The one thing you were sure about is that you do not belong here.
Then you show your little light,
Twinkle, twinkle all the night.
But what if you have a real family? Somewhere, beyond this sea; looking for you desperately, not knowing where you are, constantly thinking that you might be dead? Could there be someone missing you right at this moment?
What about the father of this child? What if he thinks both you and your baby are dead? He would probably be devastated.
You sighed and stood up. There's no way you'll let those people that care about you think that you're dead. Once you recover, you'll go out there and explore until you eventually intersect with people you once knew.

Then the traveller in the dark,
Thanks you for your little spark.
Sabo ran towards Dragon's office. He was hopeful that the news he's going to get from him would be related about one of his brothers.
Cheerfully, he opened the door. He greeted Dragon and sat down on one of the chairs in front of him. "Sabo..." Dragon started. Sabo's cheerfulness died once he heard the tone Dragon had. He knew that there won't be any good news, and even if there were, there's no way they're going to be good for him.
"We received a very important information. It is not confirmed since there's no word of that person ever since the war." Dragon started. Sabo gulped. He felt the seriousness of the topic and stayed quiet.
"It's a rumor coming from the marines themselves but it did not reach the world's ears just yet. We already know that Portgas- no, Gol D. Ace had a relationship with a girl during the time he was still alive." Sabo knew about this information since he read everything that happened during the time he wasn't aware of his past life, once he remembered.
Dragon sighed. "It rumored that, that girl might be pregnant with Fire Fist's child." He finished. Sabo's eyes widened. What?!
He could not see which way to go
If you did not twinkle so...
"What!" Sabo stood up. "Remember that this is just a rumor." Dragon reminded him. "Yeah, but a rumor coming from the marines! If they know, that must mean that they have captured her already!" Dragon sighed once again. "That's the thing. She might of been captured and killed by now."
"Dragon-san, we have to do something." Sabo said. "I fear that the situation is out of our reach right now. All we can do is to lay low for a while." Dragon replied.
After a little more chatting, Sabo exited the room. He wasn't sure what to think anymore. He sure wasn't going to let the baby of his brother die!
He hoped that he would get more good news like that they had finally found the status of his brother, deceased or alive. That's right, even though the entire world believes that Ace died after the fight with Akainu, his body on the battlefield was never found. Sabo knew that Ace was strong so he still had hope but, he hasn't heard any kind of rumor about him.
But even if Ace is alive or not, he will do everything to protect the last members of his family. He will not let anyone die anymore.
When the blazing sun is gone
When the nothing shines upon
Though I not know what you are
Twinkle, twinkle little star...

So this chapter is just to fill in the gap between the time skip we will have next chapter.
Not a big time skip, only a few weeks, but not a month. It's just to skip the part when you're still injured.
I used the lyrics of the Twinkle Twinkle Star from Dead Space cause I like creepy things.
Talking about creepy things, I joined the Killing Stalking fandom. I know... I'm the worst lmao. I CAN'T HELP IT. BOTH OF THEM ARE F*CKED UP.
^me to myself every single night.
Sangwoo might be a psychopathic killer but he still looks good af. Why do I always fall for the bad guys?
