You looked horrified at the person lying on ground, in front of you.

Doflamingo's grip did not loosen as you tried to push through him to get to the person who, thanks to her, your son was in this world... And also you.

"Mom!" You yelled as you finally escaped Doflamingo. You kneeled next to her and checked her pulse immediately. It was faint, but it was there.

You grabbed her by the shoulders and tried to get her to wake up. She coughed violently as she finally opened her eyes.

"Name...?" You heard her ask quietly. You nod and her and tried to do anything to alter the pain that she was in. At this point, you had tears in your eyes. "Yeah, it's me." You replied as you wimped away the blood that was on her face.

"Fufufu~ what a touching reunion. I'm almost shedding a tear." Doflamingo said mockingly. You immediately stood up and threw a punch at him.

He didn't expected that at all.

He went flying into the wall, cracking it. You breathed heavily as you wimped away the blood from your forehead that you accidentally got on.

But that was it. The last straw.

Even from that distance you could already see the fact that he didn't tried to conceal his vein anymore. It was completely visible. That meant trouble.

But that didn't intimidated you at all. Shichibukai or not, this man was completely out of line. Maybe two years ago, if you were in this kind of situation, you would've waited to be rescued. But not today. You were different now.

You had someone who was waiting for you, back home. He wouldn't understand why his mother never came back if you were to die here.

But his next move completely made you froze.

He stood up silently from the ground and dusted his coat. He walked slowly to you with a huge grin on his face. You gulped but stood your ground.

Call it stupidity, call it braveness but if you congratulated yourself for controlling your emotions like this.

"So the kitten has claw, huh?" He asked as his face was now covered by a sinister shadow. "Fufufu, you think you actually stand a chance?" He began to laugh at you.

He was now standing in front of you, his presence completely creeping you out. He was different now. He seemed more dangerous.

You angered him. Or maybe amused him from all you know.

"Scared, now, are we?" He mocked you as he was staring into your soul. Or so it seemed.

"Scared? That's what cowards do! After all you've done, you think I'd let things such as fear to  overwhelm me?!" You said as you shoved him a few steps away.

Before you could do anything else, your body completely stopped listening to you. You couldn't move. You almost couldn't breathe.

Your eyes widened and immediately looked back at Doflaningo who was starting to laugh maniacally at you as you struggled to move at least a finger.

You were completely paralyzed.

The shadow came back and covered his eyes, making him look completely terrifying. 

"Not so brave now, are we?" He said slowly as he circled around you. "I bet that if you could, you would tremble in front of me right now."

You closed your eyes as his mouth was now really close to your ear.

"Oh? But what's that? Why can't you move? Well, darling, this is my power. You see, when people like you decide to test my temper, I only do ~this."

And with that said you suddenly felt uneasy. But then you realized... You couldn't breathe anymore! 

You tried your hardest to even do something, but it was useless. He was controlling your lungs... Your organs. That's when you knew, it wouldn't be long before he gets you killed.

But suddenly, he let you go. Everything stopped. There was a dead silence as you tried to breathe in some air. You looked up at him. His eyes were locked on you.

"Now, this is interesting." He said. He kneeled down in front of you and caressed your cheek. Because of the lack and need of air, you were unable to even lay a finger on him.

"You aren't even aware of it, are you?" He asked, making you furrow you frown. What was he talking about? Why didn't he just killed you right there?

"Aware of what?" You managed to ask.

He let out a small chuckle at your question. He circled around you once more before completely stopping in from of your mother.

"Don lay a finger on her!" You screamed at him. He stopped. He looked back at you and then walked towards you.

"My, that was stronger than the last one." He said.

You had no idea what he was talking about. Your eyes followed him as he let out a small laugh. He seemed amuses at the situation and yet, you couldn't understand why.

Your head started to hurt a little. Like a small migraine. What did you do? You couldn't understand what just happened.

"But you, out of all the people out there?" Doflamingo laughed.

He was starting to piss you off even more now. You scrawled at him and stood up.

"You don't seem worthy for the power you have."

At that, you froze and looked directly at him. Power? What power?

"W-what?"

"I guess you aren't so hopeless after all. Fufufu, this will be fun."
