Chapter 3 - Familiar Names
Nothing is eternal and yet every end becomes a new begging. No matter how much you try to delay it, the end will come for everybody.
Maybe this was your chance to start a new. To start a new life, a quiet one, without showing your face to the world ever again. But that would only mean that you're hiding yourself from the unknown things that you once knew.
Your wounds healed faster than even the doctor expected, which made him a lot more confident about your health, however... The baby still wasn't in a good condition. Your plan was to set sail once both of you are healed but, if the baby isn't going to be alright, you wouldn't even dare dream about it until he or she is here, alive and healthy.
During your past weeks that you've been here with Atsuko and George, you learned so much about both of them, you became really close to them both. Atsuko forced you to move at her house, telling you that even if you decide to leave this island, you will always have a place to return to and call home.
You always tried to repay the both of them with anything you can manage to do (cooking, cleaning etc.) however, they always seemed to get angry at you for doing their choirs. You knew that they appreciated the help but they always feared for the baby, but that doesn't mean they should confuse you with the baby. You never tried to lift anything heavy that would put a lot of pressure on your stomach or back.
Today was just an ordinary day. Atsuko was occupied with some chores in the garden, while George was away in the forest, gathering some wild medicinal herbs. You, on the other hand, were bored out of your mind. Reading seemed to be the only activity thay kept you entertained for a long time these days.
You knew you had almost no chance at helping Atsuko with her garden so you decided that I was time to go outside and explore this island. A good long walk was exactly what you needed right now. Walking slowly towards the garden area, you saw Atsuko, all muddy, weeding her plants.
Once you greeted her, she stopped doing what she was doing and smiled at you. You quickly announced her that you'll go around the island. "Ah! This is a great opportunity for you to do something. How about you go and buy some groceries for tonight's dinner?"
Once she gave you a list of the things you should buy, you started your journey around the island. Ever since you were here, you never really went outside that much. Maybe it was because of your constant fear of being recognized or maybe just that you didn't really cared that much.
Atsuko's house was not that far away from the village so you managed to arrive there in a short time. The people seemed nice. They would give you short glares and then smile at you in a nice and polite manner. Maybe they were not used to visitors on this island.
After finishing the shopping you had to do, you decided to walk a little more around the village. Children were playing outside, laughing while their parents would talk to one another like old buds. The elders would usually sit on benches and talk about all bunch of stuff that they've done when they were that young.
But then all the happiness ended once a horn was heard. Everyone went silent and stopped whatever they were doing. You furrowed your brows and looked around. "They're probably going to announce the new Fleet Admiral. How annoying." An old man mumbled.
The crowd gathered around the main center of the village. You hid yourself in the crowd, thinking that it might be the safest option considering the fact that the marines here do not really like the new foreigners that come here.
The marine cleared his throat and started to read from a document. By the end of the announcement, the new Fleet Admiral turned out to be none other than Akainu. You didn't knew much about him since the newspaper that you read didn't really give you a good amount of information to make an impression out of him but it seemed that these people weren't that happy that he ended up becoming the new Fleet Admiral.
"One last final thing, if anyone sees this person, report in at the base immediately." The marine held up a wanted poster. But what shocked you the most is that your own face was on that wanted poster.
(Name). Wanted only alive.
500.000.000 belly
"What the hell?" You mumbled to yourself. Your heart felt as if it stopped. What the hell was happening? You were a pirate? Why are you wanted just alive? Usually only the ones who have a somehow connection with the Navy are wanted only alive.
You hid your face as you tried to remain calm. If anyone speaks up right now, you're most likely going to be captured. "They increased her bounty poster again." A man whispered. Again?
Once the marine left without spotting you and the crowd scattered you search for a place to sit down for a moment. What the hell? Was that really you on that wanted poster or was it just your imagination.
You realized that it was getting late and that Atsuko will start to worry if you don't get home by sundown.
One thing was sure. You finally found a clue, a small fragment of who you are and that is your name.

I post and reblog a bunch of random stuff. (Lately I've been posting about Killing Stalking mostly) but I do post about Mystic Messenger as well.
also how did we get from Yuri on Ice to Killing Stalking?! How. We migrated to a healthy fandom to a questionable sanity one in a blink of an eye, without any problem.
