Her jaws dropped and widened watching the situation. Jingyi was holding his sword unsheathed. He suddenly looked at Zhang Euni with sharp eyes.

"You dared to cross the line and roam around?" Jingyi roared.

"Ji...Jingyi" Zhang Euni trembled. "I...I was just..."

"Cut the crap Zhang Euni. Face me if you can."

Saying so Jingyi attacked Euni. As a reflex Euni stepped back. She still didn't has her sword in her hand. Jingyi made a blow and Euni dodged it. Soon Jingyi's attacks because more frequent and powerful. Unable to cope up without sword, Zhang Euni summoned her sword and within no time, it landed into her hand.

As she got her weapon in her hand, she started to stop the blows Jingyi was giving.  Suddenly she felt as if Jingyi was using his spiritual power into his sword while fighting. This made Zhang Euni a bit mad. She smirked and dodged Jingyi's attack. Before Jingyi could attack again, Zhang Euni attacked first. Jingyi stopped her blow. This time a spark of green shade appeared when Euni's sword collided with Jingyi's. But before Jingyi could take a safe position, Zhang Euni attacked again and this time Jingyi was held off-guard and Euni's sword just stopped less than an inch away from Jingyi's neck.

"Woah! Zhang Euni...you made such a progress." Zizhen clapped his hands.

Euni removed the sword and sheathed it. A proud smile appeared on Jingyi's face.

"Zhang Euni, you are really amazing. You formed such a strong core within just 27 days!"  Jingyi patted on Euni's shoulder while her eyes widened at Jingyi's reaction.

"Uh!? You are not angry with me?" Euni asked innocently.

"Of course not. You already formed such a strong core and made such progress." Jingyi replied with a smile.

"But...I sneaked out." Euni said pointing herself.

"So what? When I found you as well as the circle missing, I understood that you already formed a strong core. Without a strong core, the magic circle cannot be broken. So to test how strong your core is, I fought with you." Jingyi replied with a mischievous smile.

"Jingyi...are you kidding me!?" Euni looked at Jingyi with disbelief in her eyes. "You just did that to test me!? You know how afraid I was?"

"Sorry, my little Euni. But...you formed your core much strong. You even defeated one of 'the jades trio of Gusu."

"Uh!? Jade trio?! Who are they?" Euni asked.

"Meimei...Jade trio of Gusu is famous like Jade twins of Gusu." Zizhen explained.

"But...who are they?"

"The oldest of Jade trio of Gusu is Lan Sizhui, second brother is Lan Zhiquiang and third one is your friend Lan Jingyi, " Zizhen replied.

"Uh!? Jingyi!? Woah! You are so famous." Euni smiled like a kid pulling Jingyi's sleeves.

"Euni, stop pulling my sleeves."

"But...who is this Lan Zhiquiang!?" Euni asked innocently.

"He? He is the most boring and coldest person on the earth." Zizhen said making a cold serious face."Actually, he resembles Hanguang-Jun. Most of his features are like Hanguang-Jun. He doesn't like to talk much, he is cold, unapproachable but his skills are beyond imagination. He is the best swordsman in Gusu. Senior Wei calls him as Second Lan Zhan."

"Can I join you, young masters and miss." A voice interrupted their conversation and everyone turned around.

"Senior Wei?!" Jingyi exclaimed.

He signed Zizhen to hide Euni. When Zizhen was trying to hide Euni, she was not willing.

"Zizhen ge. Why are you hiding me? I wanna talk with Wei gege." Euni tried to push Zizhen.

"Wei gege?!" Zizhen and Jingyi looked at Euni as if they have seen a ghost.

"Haha...Zhang Euni, come here." Wei Ying waved his hand and she jumped like a kid and went to Wei WuXian.

"Wei gege, how do you know I am here?" Euni smiled.

"Wait...you guys know each other!?" Zizhen asked.

"Yes. I know Wei gege. He is very kind." Euni said looking at Wei Wuxian.

"Wei gege!? Euni, you should call him Senior Wei." Jingyi interrupted.

"But Wei gege gave me permission to call him like that." Euni pouted.

"Uh!?" Jingyi looked at Wei Wuxian with disbelief.

"Yes. My little Meimei can call me like that." Wei Wuxian smiled.

"Senior Wei, does Hanguang-Jun know about her?"

"No Jingyi, he doesn't know about it. When he will return, I will tell him."

"Uh!? No no. Don't tell him about me." Euni said shaking her head.

"Why Euni? Are you afraid of him?"

"Ahm...Wei gege, what if he sees us talking to each other and doesn't like it and uses his Bichen against me? I cannot fight against such a powerful person."

"What!?" All of them except Euni burst into laughter.
"Why are you laughing?"

"Hanguang-Jun is not that type. He will understand." Wei Wuxian said controlling his laughter.

"Senior Wei, please don't tell about her to anyone. After few days, I will take her to Gusu and then introduce her to everyone." Jingyi said.

"Okay. I have to go. I have to take care of few things. Take care Zhang Euni."

"You too, Wei gege." Euni smiled as she waved at Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian smiled and left.

"Zhang Euni, don't roam around." Zizhen almost ordered.

"Why Zizhen gege? I wanna roam."

"If Sizhui finds you then it's okay. But if Lan Zhiquiang finds you, then I cannot tell you what he will do." Zizhen replied in a serious tone.

"Why?"

"Euni, you don't know anything about Zhiquiang. Since he is my brother, I know him well." Jingyi interrupted.

"But..." Euni paused. "Okay. I won't cause any trouble."

"Well, be a good girl and stay here. We have work to take care of."

"Okay."

Soon everyone left the place. Euni was again lonely. She first thought not to leave the place, but her mind won't listen to her. She took her sword and went out. She didn't even have an idea where she was heading to. As she was walking, she felt as if the texture of grass was changed. She bent down and put her fingers on the soft grass. Taking some grass in her hand, she stood up and started to observe it.

The grass is so different from that place. It's so soft and green. I still don't know why I have to stay like that. I don't belong here. So what? At least I am..."

Before Zhang Euni could complete her words, a dark blue flash appeared and she fell down.

"Ouch!!! Who is it!?"

Zhang Euni said trying to stand up. But there was no response. She looked around to find a young handsome boy in all white robes with a forehead ribbon standing upright with an unsheathed sword in his hand. He had a cold yet majestic aura. The free ends of the forehead ribbon were flying freely in the light breeze.

Euni understood that he was one of the Lan sect's best student. But before she could say anything, that young boy attacked again.

Zhang Euni dodged the blow.

"Young Master...please listen to me."

But the young boy wasn't ready to listen to her. He again attacked her. Euni understood that it's not time to talk. She realized that the young boy was using his spiritual powers and his cultivation level is much high. But she decided not to surrender. With a blow, Zhang Euni dodged again but she lost her balance a bit. Seeing her like that, a smirk appeared on the cold face of the boy as if he was looking down upon her. Euni could bear anything but couldn't withstand insult. She balanced herself.

She closed her eyes for a few seconds and then attacked him. This time, the two swords collided and both of them stepped back due to the force of reaction. The boy took a few steps back and sharply attacked her, Euni put her sword perpendicular stopping the blow. This time the boy used a talisman against her, as a result, she was thrown a few steps back. But Euni was lucky enough to balance herself. The boy again used a talisman and this time Euni held first two fingers of her right-hand firmly and green glow appeared.

She threw the green glow towards him in order to stop the talisman resulting in a clash of green glow and a blue glow. Zhang Euni became sure that that young boy was one of the best disciples of Lan clan. The boy used more power and gave a fatal blow by his sword. Euni stopped the blow and a huge collision between green spark and blue spark happened. The boy used his blue spark to injure Euni, but she was already prepared and she stopped the attack with her green glow.

This time perhaps both of the warriors used huge power. The clash of the green glow and blue spark was so violent that both of the warriors fell a few steps back. But the grass of the area where the clash occurred almost got destroyed.

On the other hand, the students of Gusu could see two steady glows colliding each other from cloud recesses. At once they understood that the blue glow belonged to Lan Zhiquiang but they couldn't get a clue about the green light. So they quickly informed the elders about this. At once, Zewu Jun, Lan Sizhui, Jin Ling and others rushed to the spot.

Jingyi and Zizhen also noticed this. Without any doubt, they understood between whom the clash was going on. Jingyi almost froze witnessing the violent clash of green glow and blue spark. Both of them rushed to the spot.

But there a violent clash was occurring between Lan Zhiquiang and Zhang Euni. No one seemed to stop their attacks. Even the elders of Lan sect, Zewu Jun and Sizhui feared to stop them. Zizhen froze in his position upon witnessing the violent clash.

"Zhang Euni...stop." Lan Jingyi yelled.

As a result, Euni stopped her attack and looked at Jingyi. Taking advantage of the situation, Lan Zhiquiang attacked her and the sharp blade of his sword formed a deep cut in Zhang Euni's upper arm.

"Aaahh..." Euni gasped as she fell in the ground and Lan Zhiquiang put his sword a few inches away from her neck.

"Lan Zhiquiang, back off," Jingyi said as he rushed to Euni who already fell on the ground.

But Lan Zhiquiang didn't utter a single word. He simply sheathed his sword and looked at Lan Jingyi.

"Aishh...Euni, your wound is bleeding badly. You need to take care of it." Jingyi said looking at her wound.

"Who is she Jingyi and why are you taking care of her?" Zewu Jun exclaimed.

"She doesn't belong here, but she is an innocent girl," Zizhen replied.

"Then how do you know that she is innocent?" Lan Zhiquiang spoke.

"Zhiquiang, don't you even believe me?!" Jingyi yelled.

For a moment silence dominated the entire area. Lan Sizhui and Jin Ling kept quite observing the situation. By this time, Wei Wuxian also appeared in the scene. His eyes widened seeing an injured Euni, but he didn't move. He just waited to see what would happen next.

"But I have never heard of such a surname before in the entire cultivation world." Lan Zhiquiang broke the silence.

"Zhiquiang, I am telling you, she is innocent." Jingyi cried.

"Then prove it. You can believe her but I don't." Zhiquiang said coldly.

"Young Master Lan...I...I am really innocent." Zhang Euni spoke.

"You better not speak when others are speaking." Zhiquiang sent a death glare to her.

Though Wei Wuxian confirmed her innocence using his dark powers and Chenqing, he kept quiet. He knew that Zhang Euni needed to prove her innocence herself, otherwise, the elders of Lan Clan wouldn't believe her. Meanwhile, Zewu Jun sent Jiang Cheng this news through the secret system of messaging of Lan Clan. Within no time Jiang Cheng appeared.

"What's going on here?" Jiang Cheng roared in his mighty voice.

"Clan leader Jiang!" Everyone bowed to him while Jingyi lowered his head still sitting on the floor holding an injured Euni.

"Clan leader Jiang, this girl is evil and she took the form of an innocent girl." A student from Lan clan asserted.

"Hey...how do you know that she is evil?" Jingyi talked back.

"Then how do you know that she is innocent?" Jiang Cheng said in his strict voice.

"Clan leader Jiang...I am really innocent. Though I don't belong here, but I am not evil." Zhang Euni pleaded as tears appeared in her eyes.

"Your name is Zhang Euni, right?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"Yes." Euni nodded timidly.

"But this surname is unknown in the cultivation world. How do I believe that you are innocent?" Jiang Cheng inquired

Euni didn't speak for a moment. Then she looked at silver ring with purple crystal on Jiang Cheng's index finger.

"Clan leader Jiang...Zidian will prove this." Euni said still sitting on the ground.

"Zidian!?" Jiang Cheng exclaimed.

"Zhang Euni!? Do you even know how Zidian is used?" Jingyi exclaimed looking at Euni with disbelief.

"Yes, I know," Euni replied firmly.

"What the heck are you saying Zhang Euni!? Do you even know that Zidian is used to whip?" Zizhen yelled.

"Yes. I know that. Only Zidian can prove my innocence. If I get whipped by it and still remain the same then it will prove that I am innocent and I am not evil." Euni said looking at Jiang Cheng.

"No way Zhang Euni! I am not allowing you to do that." Jingyi yelled." You are so skinny. I am afraid that you cannot get up from bed for days if you get whipped by Zidian."

"But I have to Jingyi."

"No!"

"Please Jingyi"
