"Aaaahhhhhh...who are you!?" Zhang Euni instantly sat up, flinched.

"Why are you screaming, girl?"

A voice spoke out. The voice was not that calm but it was manly. The boy had a forehead ribbon and was wearing completely white robes with the design of clouds on it. This meant that the boy is one of the members of the Lan sect. Euni's eyes widened seeing two young guys looking at her with curious eyes.

"Who are you, Miss?"

The other boy spoke out looking gently at her. He was wearing red robes but no forehead ribbon. He had a gentle aura yet flirty eyes.

"Are...Are you Lan Jingyi and Ouyang Zizhen?!" Zhang Euni trembled. Her eyes still couldn't believe what she just saw.

"How do you know our names? And who are you? We never saw you before." Jingyi exclaimed looking at her.

"Well, where am I?" Euni asked ignoring Lan Jingyi's question.

"You are in Gusu, but outside the cloud recesses. But who are you, miss?" Zizhen asked gently.

"Hmm...I am Zhang Euni." Euni said hesitatingly.

"What? Zhang? Are you from Zhang clan? But how come I have never heard of such surname before?"  Jingyi arched his brow.

"Jingyi, calm down will make her nervous if you ask her like that." Zizhen put his hand on Jingyi's shoulder and the later calmed down.

"Well, I am not from this world. Actually, I don't know how I came here." Euni scratched her head. "I am actually a huge fan of this world, Hanguang-Jun and Wei Ying...sorry Wei Gonzi. Yesterday, I slept while thinking about them. But I don't know how I came here."

Jingyi and Zizhen looked at each other with a confused look.

"Ah...miss, we really didn't get it," Zizhen said.

"Aiyaaa... How should I explain now? Well, look at my face and my clothes. These are not like you." Euni said showing her clothes without noticing that they too got changed.

"Who says? Your clothes are exactly like other girls." Jingyi mumbled.

"A-ah? Really?!" Euni's eyes widened.

"Yes." Saying so, Jingyi gave a mirror to her. "Look at yourself."

"Yah!! Even my robes are changed!!! Aiyaaa...God!!! Why are you doing this to me? How can I prove my innocence!?" Zhang Euni screamed holding her face in her palms.

"Umm...Zizhen, do you think she is not lying? She is really cute. Why I feel that she is not lying?" Jingyi whispered.

"I too feel the same. But how's that possible?" Zizhen whispered.

"Zizhen, why don't we befriend her? She is so innocent." Jingyi elbowed Zizhen.

"I am thinking the same. Who cares who she is." Zizhen replied.

"Miss, don't cry. Girls don't look good when they cry." Zizhen said kneeling before a crying Euni.

"But what should I do now!?" Euni sobbed. "Even you guys don't believe me. If you don't believe me, then others won't even care to believe me."

"We believe you miss. I am Lan Jingyi and this is my boyfriend Ouyang Zizhen." Jingyi introduced himself to her.

"Uh!? You guys believe me?" Euni said in utter shock, pointing her index finger towards herself.

"Yes. Why not?" Jingyi smiled.

"Thank you so much. Thank you so much for believing me." Euni bowed.

"What's your name, miss?" Zizhen asked with a gentle smile.

"Its Zhang Euni, young master Ouyang Zizhen," Euni replied cheerfully.

"Well, you don't need to call me young master. Just call me by my name. I am not that old. I am just 18 years old." Zizhen smiled.

"I am still 17. I think I should call you gege. How about calling you Zizhen gege?" Euni titled her head.

"Haha...I am okay with this. Now I really feel like a big brother." Zizhen chuckled.

"Lan Jingyi, what should I call you?" Euni asked looking at Jingyi

"You can call me Jingyi since I am 17," Jingyi replied.

"Okay Jingyi. Thank you so much for believing me. Well, can I meet Wei Gonzi and Hanguang-Jun?" Euni asked hoping to meet her dream couple.

"NO!!" Both of them yelled.

"Uh!?"

"I mean, you cannot. You are not ready. Looking at you, I can already say your core is still dormant and you know nothing about swords, right?" Zizhen said walking towards her.

"Yes, gege. How do you know?" Euni looked at her senior, amazed.

"It's simple. You don't have a sword in your hand. It means you don't know to use a sword. Since you cannot use a sword, it means your core is still dormant." Jingyi explained.

"What should I do now!!!?" Euni wailed.

"Well, I will teach you how to use a sword for a month," Jingyi said with a confident smile. "If you learn it perfectly and efficiently, then I will take you to cloud recesses and will introduce you to everyone. Until then you have live here."

"Here?!"

"Yes, there is a small cottage here. Zizhen and I spend our time here. So, for a month you can live here." Jingyi assured her.

"But I don't want to disturb you guys." Euni pouted.

"It's okay. We are happy to meet you. We never had a female friend like you." Jingyi smiled.

"Thank you Jingyi." Euni smiled widely.

"Wait, your training will start tomorrow before I allow you to go out, you cannot go out. I don't want you to land into any trouble. Get it?" Jingyi said softly but in a commanding tone.

"Copy that, young master Lan." Euni bowed.

"Tch...I can see someone is forgetting about me." Zizhen scoffed.

"Anyone...Zizhen gege...I remember you." I smiled.

"Who will forget you, honey?" Jingyi smirked.

"Ahm..." Euni coughed. "Well, please don't get lovey-dovey in front me. I am still a kid."

"Kid!? Zhang Euni. Are you kidding us?" Zizhen laughed

"Yes. Otherwise, why would I call you gege?"

"You got the point, little girl." Zizhen gently caressed Euni's hair and Euni chuckled.

"Zhang Euni, are you afraid of staying alone?" Jingyi asked looking at her with concern in his eyes.

"No. But why are you asking that Jingyi?" Euni blinked.

"Well, because we cannot stay all the time with you here. " Jingyi explained.

"It's okay Jingyi. I can stay alone. Wait...this means I can roam about freely! Yes!!!!." Euni jumped.

"Who says you are going to roam freely," Jingyi said crossing his arms across his chest. "I will make a circle using my powers. Until your core becomes strong enough to break it, you cannot go out."

"Pft...you are so cruel Jingyi," Euni whined like a kid.

"He cares about you, Zhang Euni." Zizhen gently caressed her head.

"Okay, I won't disobey you, young masters."

"Okay. We are going now. Tomorrow we will come. Your training will start tomorrow." Jingyi smiled.

"Bye-bye."

*next day*

Zhang Euni was sleeping peacefully until a cold splash of water completely destroyed her sweet sleep.

"Yah!!! Why are waking me up so early?" Euni yelled as she got up from her bed.

"Early!?" Jingyi looked at her with disbelief in his eyes. "Zhang Euni...in cloud recesses, everyone gets up at 5 am. But already 6:30 am and you are still sleeping!?"

"Jingyi...don't be rude with this little kid. Please." Euni whined, her eyes were still closed.

"Zhang Euni, I think both of us are of the same age. So I think you should learn from me." Jingyi said proudly.

"Stop flattering yourself Lan Jingyi. Zhang Euni, get up now. You need to start your training." Zizhen said politely.

"Okay Zizhen gege." Euni smiled "Jingyi, learn something from Zizhen gege. He is so polite."

"Zhang Euni, you..."

Zhang Euni stick her tongue out and ran away from there.

"She is 17 yet she acts like a kid." Zizhen chuckled.

Soon the training started.

"Zhang Euni, first we will start with meditation. You need to meditate for 2 hours every day." Jingyi informed her her routine.

"Uh!? Two hours!?" Euni's jaws dropped to the ground. "Jingyi, are you kidding me!? I am sure I will fall asleep if I sit like that for two hours without speaking or doing anything."

"It will be tough in the beginning but soon you will get used to it." Zizhen chuckled.

"And yes, from today I am making the circle using my powers so that you cannot roam freely and invite troubles," Jingyi said examining the place.

"Copy that master," Euni said making a weird face.

As the training started with meditation, Euni at first couldn't focus. But as days went by, her meditation time increased day by day. By the 15th day, she could meditate for 4 hours without any distraction. Even she learned how to use a sword efficiently. Since her core wasn't strong, Jingyi and Zizhen didn't give her sword with spiritual powers. Soon, she could defeat Zizhen but didn't succeed in defeating Lan Jingyi. Both Jingyi and Zizhen are happy with Euni. She was not only a good student but also a very good companion. Whenever they used to feel low, Euni used to tell them jokes and play games with them.

In this way, 27 days went by. Euni was still focussing on her swordfight and meditation. Her sword skills increased incredibly. She took huge care of the sword which she used to practice. The sword was specially given to her by Jingyi.

After 20 days of her practice, Jingyi gave her that sword. She loved her sword so much. She even named it 'Seo Yeon'. While practicing, she felt as the sword obeyed and listened to her commands. She knew that she didn't develop her core completely yet the sword obeyed her. So she was confused about this matter.

One day while practicing sword alone, she felt tired and took a break. It was about 9 am in the morning. Jingyi and Zizhen were busy with their own tasks. So, Euni was alone in that place. She wanted to step out of that magical circle badly.

So, she put her sword in the sword-case and then put it inside the cottage so that no one could touch it. Then she put her feet out of the magical circle. Suddenly a ripple created and threw Zhang Euni inside. She tried again but failed. For the third time, Euni closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She held the first two fingers of her right hand in front of her forehead while the other fingers remained fisted. Suddenly she opened her eyes and touched the magic circle with the first two fingers of her right hand with a force. Abruptly, a green spark appeared around the border of the light blue magic circle and within seconds the circle got disappeared.

Euni's eyes widened witnessing the scene. She slowly put her feet outside and there was no reaction at all!

"Yes!!! I did it! I formed my core and its much strong! Yes...yes...yes. Now I can go out. Yippe."

She jumped like a kid and started to roam hither and thither like a kid exploring in an unknown world. Suddenly her attention was grabbed by a black plum tree.

"Black plum tree in Gusu! Wow! I am really lucky."

In no time she quickly climbed up to the tree and sat on a high branch. She started to pluck the fruits and munch them. She even kept some in her little pouch for Jingyi and Zizhen.

"Hey, Miss...what are you doing there on the tree."

With this sudden startling question and sudden sound, Zhang Euni lost her balance and fell from the tree. She closed her eyes tightly. But after some time, she felt no reaction. She slowly opened her eyes to find herself in the arms of a handsome young man. He was tall with a beautiful manly face and messy hair. He was smiling at the innocent girl in his arms.

"Aiyoo...sorry sorry. I didn't mean to do it, I am sorry." Zhang Euni quickly stood on the ground.

"Its okay miss. It's me who should apologize. Sorry for startling you." The young man bowed.

"It's okay." Euni smiled as if nothing happened.

"If you don't mind, can I know your name, miss?" The young man said gently.

"Of course. I am Zhang Euni. Nice to meet you." Euni smiled.

"Zhang!?" The Young man arched his brow. "I have never heard of this surname."

"Young master, it's a long story. Do you want to listen to it now?" Euni asked him looking at his face.

"I will surely listen to it. But, I am a little busy. I am Zheng Wei." The boy smiled.

"Ahhh...Zheng Gonzi." Euni nodded her head as if she learned something very important.

"You don't need to call me like that. Just call me by my name- Zheng Wei." The young man smiled.

"But Gonzi..."

"Zhang Euni, I have to go. Maybe we will meet in the future."

"I will be waiting."

Before Zhang Euni could complete her words, Zheng Wei disappeared from there.

'He is so handsome and polite. Ah...I didn't know that Gusu has so many handsome guys. Wait...he wasn't wearing forehead ribbon. He wasn't wearing white clothes either. Ah!!! My poor brain! He is from Zheng Clan. How did I forget so easily!?'

With a number of thoughts in the brain, Zhang Euni proceeded. Soon she reached a place. There were many small white rabbits moving here and there. A slight smile appeared on her face. She went near the rabbits. Suddenly she heard the sound of a donkey. She looked around and saw a donkey.

"Lil Apple!?" Euni exclaimed. "Yes...its Lil apple. It's Wei Wuxian's donkey. Huh!? This means these rabbits are Hanguang-Jun's rabbits!" Euni flinched. But suddenly she smirked. "But both Hanguang and Yiling Laozu are not here. So I think I can play with them."

Thinking so Euni sat amidst of the rabbits. She took out her pouch and started to feed Lil apple with black plum.
She felt bad for not feeding rabbits with black plum because she didn't know the correct amount of plums for rabbits. Actually, rabbits cannot eat a huge number of plums. They can cause illness in rabbits. Euni was immersed in feeding the animals that she even didn't notice someone standing behind her.

"Ahhaa...you are getting along with Lil Apple quite well, young miss."

"A-ah!?" She got startled and her pouch fell from her hands.

"Did I scare you, miss?" The young man spoke softly.

"Wei...Senior Wei WuXian!?"

"Uh?! You know my name, young miss?" Wei Wuxian said crossing his arms across his chest.

"You are really Wei Wuxian!?" Euni at once stood up as she couldn't believe her eyes that she saw Wei Wuxian!

"Yes, miss. But why don't I remember you?" Wei Wuxian blinked trying to remember her.

"Ah...sorry for freaking out. I am Zhang Euni." She bowed before Wei Wuxian.

"Zhang!? I have never heard of such surname in this entire cultivation world." Wei WuXian exclaimed.

"Wei Gonzi...actually I don't belong here. I came from the modern world. I don't know how it happened but, I came here. I know its hard to believe me. But its the truth." Euni said hanging her head down.

For some reason, Wei WuXian looked sharply at the girl. He took his Chenqing and started to play a tune.

"Uh!? Wei Gonzi...I am not evil. Please don't kill me." Euni knelt before Wei WuXian. Tears escaped her eyes.

Wei WuXian didn't stop. He played a gentle yet a sharp tune. Suddenly a cloud of black smoke, not so dense, circled around Zhang Euni. She got tensed. She cried
even more. But it didn't cast any effect on him. After a few moments, the smoke gradually disappeared and Wei WuXian stopped playing the flute. Euni was still sitting on the ground hugging her knees tightly. Wei WuXian smiled and knelt down before her.

"Zhang Euni, sorry for frightening you." Wei Wuxian said kneeling before her.

"Uh!? You...you don't want to kill me!?" Euni sobbed.

"How can I kill an innocent girl like you?" Wei WuXian wiped her tears.

"Then...then why did you play your flute?" Euni asked wiping her tears.

"Its because I needed to confirm something." Wei Wuxian smiled gently.

"Wei Gonzi..."

"Don't me call me like that. Call me as senior Wei." Wei WuXian caressed Euni's hair softly.

"Gonzi...Can I call you gege?"

"Hm?"

"Umm...if you are not comfortable with that then I won't call you like that."

"It's okay. You can call me gege. Actually, no one ever called me gege before you. So, I just got surprised."

"Really?! Then...can I call you Wei gege?"

"Sure, my little meimei."

"Gege...you know, I never had a big brother like you." Euni pouted.

"You are really cute as a kid. Are you still 15?" Wei Wuxian said helping her to stand up.

"Aiyaa...no. I am 17 years old." Euni replied standing up.

"Woah! You are 17 but still, you act like 13 years kid." Wei Wuxian exclaimed.

"Hihi...I am like this." Euni smiled like a bunny.

"Well, don't roam hither and thither like this. What if someone sees you?" Wei Wuxian looked at her with concern.

"Wei gege, Jingyi and Zizhen gege already know about me. Jingyi said that he will teach me sword fighting for a month and if within a month, my core forms then he will take me to cloud recesses."

"Really? When did you came here first?! Because I can sense your core is already strong." Wei Wuxian wondered.

"I came here 27 days ago."

"A-ah!? Within 27 days you formed your core this strong?" Wei Wuxian's brows almost disappeared into his hairline.

"I don't know." Euni smiled " Wei gege, have some black plum."

"Hmmm...these are really sweet." Wei Wuxian said while munching a black plum.

"You like it?"

"Mn. These are really tasty." Wei Wuxian smiled.

"Then I will bring some for you, next time."

"You don't need to do so much little girl."

"Is Hanguang-Jun present here too?"

"No. He went outside Gusu for some days. I guess he will come back after 20 or 25 days."

"Phew~" Euni sighed. "Please inform me if he comes. I won't roam around if he is here."

"Why little kid?" Wei Wuxian asked munching on another berry.

"Well, because...I am afraid of him. What if he catches me talking to you and then kill me?"

"What!? Hahaha." Wei Wuxian busted into laughter. "He won't do anything."

"Well, Wei gege, I have to go. Jingyi will break my bones if be finds me missing."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye Bye."

Saying so Euni ran to her place. As she reached the place, she suddenly stepped back. She started to tremble. Her jaws dropped and eyes widened watching the situation...
