"Please Jingyi."

"Jingyi, I don't want you to turn against your clan just to protect me. I am nobody."

"Just shut up. You are my best friend. How can I..."

"Jingyi, I don't want to repeat the past again. I don't want you to face the same as Hanguang-Jun." Euni cut Jingyi's words.

These words almost hit the seniors present at that place, especially Wei Wuxian. Everyone looked at Wei Wuxian for a moment as everyone knew what happened in the past. Hanguang-Jun, without caring about his reputation, left Lan Clan for his Wei Ying.

Jingyi looked at her speechless.

"Jingyi, I won't die okay. The whip won't kill me." A fade smile appeared on Zhang Euni's face.

"Okay." Jingyi stood up beside her.

She too stood up in her place. She turned towards Jiang Cheng.

"Clan Leader Jiang, please use Zidian on me." Zhang Euni had a smile on her lips.

Jiang Cheng frowned. Before he could use Zidian, Wei Wuxian interrupted.

"Jiang Cheng, she is a girl. Don't be too rough on her."

Jiang Cheng looked at Wei WuXian. Then he touched his silver ring on index finger and the Zidian transformed to whip. Then with a force, he used the whip against Euni. As it was a spiritual weapon, Zhang Euni couldn't resist the force and pain and fell on the ground. Suddenly, blood gushed out of her mouth.

"Zhang Euni!"

Jingyi immediately knelt down beside her holding her by her shoulders. Euni didn't say a single word. Seeing this, Jiang Cheng again took his Zidian but Sizhui came on the way and obstructed the direction of Zidian.

"Clan leader Jiang," Sizhui said politely. "One whip is enough to know if she is evil or not."

"I...I am alright." Euni struggled to speak. Her wound was already bleeding profusely. And Zidian added sharp pain to her slender body. Though her core was strong, but she was still new in the cultivation world.

"Clan leader...Jiang...Did...it prove...my innocence?" Euni asked taking heavy breaths while speaking.

Before he could say anything, Wei Wuxian spoke."She is proved innocent. Jingyi, A'yuan, take her to the cottage which is just 20 steps away. I will join you soon."

Jingyi nodded and helped Euni to get up. But the whip of Zidian was so powerful that her legs couldn't support her.

"Euni! You even cannot walk. Let me carry you." Jingyi tried to hold her.

"No Jingyi, it's okay. I can walk."

"Walk!? You will collapse." Jingyi glared at her.

"Please Jingyi."

"Jingyi, don't force her. She may have her own reasons." Wei Wuxian spoke.

Zhang Euni gave out a faded smile. Jingyi and Sizhui helped her to get into the cottage. Zizhen and Jinling followed them. After they left, Wei Wuxian sharply turned towards Jiang Cheng.

"Jiang Cheng, I told you not to be so rough on her. Why did you use your entire force on her?" Wei Wuxian looked at Clan's leader sharply.

"Wei Wuxian, I was just checking..."

"I already confirmed her innocence through my dark powers."

"What!? Then why didn't you tell me before!?"

"People already don't like me because I use dark powers. And if I tell them that I used dark powers to prove her innocence, they will think that she is evil so dark powers protected her."

Saying so Wei Wuxian left the place.

On the other hand, no one could treat Zhang Euni. Since she was a girl, the boys couldn't ask her to take off her clothes to attend the wounds. When Wei Wuxian arrived at the spot, Zhang Euni was sitting on the bed and Jingyi was kneeling near her, while others were standing there.

"Why didn't you guys treat her wounds?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"Well, she is a girl. So..."

Wei Wuxian understood the situation. At once he called Buqi, the girl who always accompanied Jin Ling like Mianmian did to Jin Ling's father. Within no time Buqi appeared.

"Buqi, you have to treat her." Wei Wuxian said politely.
"She is Zhang Euni, right?"

"Yes jiejie. Please take care of her wounds. She even got whipped by Zidian." Jingyi said in a desperate voice.

"Sure, can you guys please wait outside? I need to attend her wounds." Buqi bowed to Wei Wuxian.

After all the boys left the room, Buqi sat beside Zhang Euni.

"Jiejie, do you still believe that I am evil?" Euni said in a crying voice.

"No dear. You already proved your innocence. Everybody now knows that you are innocent. Now remove your robes so that I can check your wounds."

Euni nodded. Buqi helped her to remove her outer robes and then the inner ones. Now she had only the innermost robes which were sleeveless with thin stripes. Buqi gasped looking at her wound. The Zidian left a deep mark on the upper part of her back. She quickly cleaned the wounds. Euni flinched when the wet cloth touched her wounds.

"Does it hurt too much?" Buqi asked cleaning her wound.

"Not that much. But it feels warm. Thank you." Euni tried to smile lightly.

"Well, then I am going to apply medicine on your wounds."

"Will it hurt?"

"A little"

Buqi took the medicine in her hands. Before the medicine could touch Euni's wound, Euni started screaming.

"Ouch!!! Jiejie...it hurts. Aaaaa." Euni screamed closing her eyes tightly.

"Euni...I haven't applied yet." Buqi said putting her hand a few inches away from Euni's wounds.

"But still it hurt...aiyoooo." Euni closer her eyes even tight.

Hearing her screams, Jingyi became restless.

"Senior Wei, why is she screaming? Does it hurt so much?" Jingyi asked.

"Whip by Zidian is of course painful." Wei Wuxian replied.

"Aish...poor she! I really want to see her." Zizhen said.

After few minutes, Buqi opened the door.

"Jiejie, how is she doing?" Jingyi rushed to her.

"She is fine. You can see her." Buqi smiled assuringly.

No sooner Buqi completed her words, Zizhen and Jingyi rushed to Euni. Euni was wearing her inner robes. She wanted to put on her outer robes as well but Buqi forbade her.

"Zhang Euni?" Jingyi said peeping into the room.

"Ah? Jingyi, Zizhen ge."

"Was it painful? Did it hurt very much?" Jingyi asked kneeling before her.

"It doesn't hurt that much." Euni smiled like a kid.

"Who asked you to roam around huh?" Jingyi hit Euni's head gently.

"Ouch! Jingyi. I cannot sit quiet."

"And that Lan Zhiquiang, I really wanna talk to him now."

Saying so Jingyi stood up and went to the door.

"Jingyi, calm down. Don't get too angry." Wei Wuxian said holding Jingyi.

"Wei gege!" Euni called.

"How are you doing Euni? Does it hurt too much?" Wei Wuxian said standing beside her.

"No, Shijie took care of my wounds."

"Shijie!?" Wei Wuxian exclaimed

"Yes. I address Buqi jiejie as Shijie."

Wei Wuxian looked at Buqi who was standing beside Euni. She had a light pink shade on her face. Euni calling her as 'Shijie' made her blush. Suddenly Jiang Cheng and Zewu Jun entered the cottage. Seeing them, Buqi, Lan Sizhui, Jingyi, Zizhen, and Jin Ling bowed to them.

"Zewu Jun, Clan leader Jia...ouch!"

Zhang Euni tried to stand up but the whip of Zidian was so powerful that her body already gave up. She lost her balance and Wei Wuxian caught her.

"Euni, don't stress yourself. The whip was much powerful. You need rest." Wei Wuxian helped her to sit on the small bed.

"Miss Zhang, we are sorry to doubt you." Zewu Jun said softly.

"Zewu Jun, you don't need to apologize. It's okay. Anyways, now I am proved completely innocent. Thank you for help clan leader Jiang." Euni smiled.

"Does it hurt too much?" Jiang Cheng spoke.

"Ammm...it hurts. But it's okay. I will recover soon."

"Buqi, did you examine her wounds? How long will it take for her to recover?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"She needs 3 days for that," Buqi replied.

"What!? Three days?! I may die due to suffocation." Euni pouted.

"Then do you want to jump around and make your wounds worse? You already have two wounds caused by powerful spiritual weapons." Zizhen said in an angry voice.

"Zewu Jun, where is Lan Zhiquiang?" Jingyi asked.

"He is standing outside," Sizhui said.

"Wow! He doesn't even dare to talk to Zhang Euni?" Jingyi said sarcastically.

"Jingyi, don't be so rude. I will talk to him." Sizhui put his hand on Jingyi's shoulders.

"Take rest miss Zhang. We are leaving now." Zewu Jun smiled.

As a reply, Euni gave out a most graceful smile to him. With those words, both Zewu Jun and Jiang Cheng left the place. Sizhui went outside the cottage with Zewu Jun and Jiang Cheng. Lan Zhiquiang was standing there like a statue. After the seniors left the place, Sizhui spoke first.

"Why are you standing here? Let's go in." Sizhui said looking at Zhiquiang.

"No. How is she?"

"You care about her? Then why don't you ask her yourself?"

"No."

"Okay, my cold brother. She is saying that she is fine but the wound given by you is really a deep one. And Zidian, it will leave a deep scar on her upper back."

"Mn."

"Aren't you going to say sorry to her?"

"No."

"Zhiquiang?!"

"I have to go, brother."

"Okay."

After their conversation, Sizhui went in. Jingyi looked at Sizhui. He had a number of questions to ask. But before Jingyi could ask any question, Wei Wuxian took the opportunity.

"A'Yuan, did Zhiquiang apologize?" Wei Wuxian said looking at Sizhui.

"No, senior Wei. I asked him to apologize but he refused." Sizhui said lowering his head.

"It's okay. He doesn't need to apologize." Euni said shaking her head.

"Shut up Euni. He attacked an innocent girl like you. He needs to apologize." Jingyi snapped

"Wei gege...Young master Lan doesn't need to apologize." Euni pleaded.

"Ok then. We won't force him." Wei Wuxian smiled.

"Thank you Wei gege." Euni smiled showing all of her teeth.

"Buqi, take care of her." Wei Wuxian said.

"Sure, Wei Gonzi," Buqi replied.

Soon everyone left the room. Only Wei Wuxian, Jingyi, zizhen and Buqi remained.

"What you guys are doing here? Shijie will take care of me." Euni said looking at them confusingly.

"Are you sure Euni?" Zizhen narrowed his eyes.

"Yes, Zizhen ge. I am very much sure. Now go." Euni gave him an assured smile.

Euni said waving her hand cutely. All of them smiled and the boys left the room. Buqi smiled at her.

"A'Ni. You need rest."

"Uh? What did you say Shijie?"

"What did I say? I said you need rest."

"No, before that."

"I said...oh, I called you as A'Ni. Does it make you uncomfortable?"

"No! Please call me like that, Shijie."

"Haha...My little kid A'Ni. Now sleep. You need rest."

Saying so Buqi pulled the bedsheets over Euni. Euni smiled and closed her eyes. Buqi took huge care of Euni for the three days. She used to dress Euni's wounds every day, apply medicine on it, feeding her. She took care of her like a mother. Eventually, their bond became even stronger. Jingyi, Zizhen, Wei Wuxian, Sizhui used to visit her regularly. After three days, Zhang Euni completely got recovered. The Zidian left a very deep mark on her back but she didn't care about it. She was happy that she could roam around without any trouble. She was proved innocent.

As she was strolling outside the cottage, Zewu Jun suddenly appeared before her.

"Zewu Jun." Euni bowed to him.

Zewu Jun smiled.

"Zhang Euni, you have a very good news for tomorrow."
