"A'Ni?" Wei Wuxian gently touched Euni's shoulders as they were walking through the woods towards their home to Gusu. "Are you okay? You are not talking as usual. Is something bothering you?"

"Ahh...Wei gege." Euni tried to speak, knitting her eyes brows together. "I...I am well."

"Why are there sweat drops on your forehead?" Wei Wuxian said worriedly, wiping her sweat off her forehead. "It looks like you are not well."

"Wei gege." Euni's breathing became heavy. "Can...Can I sit here for a while? I am not feeling well."

"Okay." Wei Wuxian said helping Euni to sit on a huge rock. "Rest as much as you want, we will wait for you."

"No Wei gege!" Euni blurted out. "I mean, Zhiquiang can stay with me. You guys can proceed towards Gusu."

"But Euni..."

"Please Wei gege." Euni cut Wei Wuxian's words. "Zhiquiang can take care of me."

"I too want to stay with you," Jingyi said coming forward.

"No Jingyi." Euni smiled. "Lan Zhiquiang is enough."

The very word she spoke, there was a clear hint of pain in her words. It looked like she felt troubled while speaking. Zhiquiang observed Euni having difficulty, so he sat beside her, gently caressing her back to make her feel comfortable.

"But Euni..."

"Jingyi, don't force her," Zhiquiang said softly. "She is already in pain. You guys go ahead, I will bring her back safely."

"Zhiquiang." Jiang Cheng said who noticed Euni breathing heavily. "Take care of her okay? She is your responsibility."

"I will Clan Leader Jiang," Zhiquiang said in a determined tone.

A faded smile appeared on Wei Wuxian's face witnessing how determined Zhiquiang was to care of Euni. Jin Ling wanted to say something but he stopped him. He looked at Euni who tried to smile a bit.

"Take care A'Ni." Wei Wuxian said softly. "We are leaving."

"Mn." Euni nodded her head as she saw all the members started proceeding towards Gusu.

On the other hand, Zhiquiang gently held Euni's hand in order to check why she was not feeling well. Euni was so absorbed in checking if Wei Wuxian was gone, she didn't realize that her hand was in Zhiquiang's hand. She watched till Wei Wuxian and other silhouettes get disappear on the horizon. No sooner she confirmed that they left the place, she quickly held Zhiquiang's hand.

"Lan er gege, quick." She turned her head towards Zhiquiang, unaware that the latter's face was already very close to her. As she turned her head, her face almost touched Zhiquiang's. She abruptly stopped and wanted to move back, but she saw him checking her hand with his eyes closed. She wanted to move back but her eyes betrayed her admiring the older's beautiful face.

"He is so pretty. There are no flaws at all. Straight eyebrows like a powerful sword, long eyelashes casting light shadows on his pale, soft skin, straight nose adjusting perfectly to his face contour, thin soft lips arched like bows; God! Is he even real!?" Euni thought examining the handsome face who was busy checking her. Subconsciously, her free hand moved towards Zhiquiang's face, touching his jade-soft pale skin. Due to the sudden contact, Zhiquiang's eyes got opened at a once. He looked into Euni's eyes while the latter didn't bother to take away her hands off him.

"Euni..." Zhiquiang whispered feeling her soft, warm hand cupping his face.

"You are so pretty, Lan er gege." The words subconsciously left Euni's lips as she was completely lost into the other's beauty. Her thumb gently caressed Zhiquiang's cheeks while the latter unconsciously pressed his face into her warm hand to feel her softness and warmth.

They kept looking at each other. For them, it felt like time stood for a few minutes. Euni gently raised and softly kissed Zhiquiang's forehead. The older closed his eyes feeling a sudden spark of electricity in his body and her lips touched him.

"Euni..." Zhiquiang managed to speak with his eyes closed. "Are you feeling well?"

"Huh!?" That was when Euni came back to her senses. She pulled herself a little away from Zhiquiang. "Well...its..."

"Why are you shuttering?" Zhiquiang said opening his eyes, looking at her lovingly. "I didn't mind what you did a moment ago. Are you feeling well now?" Zhiquiang said cupping her face.

"Zhiquiang." Euni looked into his eyes. "I lied."

"What?!" Zhiquiang said removing his hand from her face. "You lied about what?"

"I am not ill. I am perfectly okay." Euni said showing her hands.

"Why did you lie?" Zhiquiang snarled. "Do you even know how worried I was!?"

"I am sorry, Lan er gege but I had no other option," Euni said feeling guilty. "We need to go back to Ling City as soon as possible. I feel that we will find a clue about attacks if we go there."

"Are you sure?" Zhiquiang frowned listening to Euni's words.

"Ah! Zhiquiang." Euni whined. "Let's go now."

Zhiquiang was about to move, Euni held his hand. Zhiquiang looked at her with questioning eyes.

"Ahh...haha." Euni smiled awkwardly, leaving Zhiquiang's hand. "I think we need to change our style."

"What do you mean?" Zhiquiang asked

"I mean we need to keep out identities hidden. Look at me, look at my robes. They don't tell that I am an innocent girl." Euni said showing her dress

"What do you want to do?" Zhiquiang asked looking at her.

"I need a girl's attire, the dress which normally girls wears- soft, fragile with less layers." Euni smiled.

"No!" Zhiquiang said as he didn't want others to see her beauty.

"Why? Lan er gege, you know, my body isn't that beautiful." Euni whined. "So you can stay assured that nobody is going to kidnap me."

"Still no." Zhiquiang rolled his eyes.

"Aiya! Lan er gege, please." Euni tugged Zhiquiang's sleeves. "Please Lan er gege."

"Okay fine!" Zhiquiang finally gave up as he couldn't face a cute Euni.

"Thank u Zhiquiang!" Euni jumped. "Can you buy me girls' clothes, please? And yes, you too have to remove your headband. Otherwise, people will guess that you belong to Lan Clan."

"Will you wait for me here until I bring clothes for you?" Zhiquiang asked.

"I will come with you." Euni smiled. "We will together choose a dress. I don't know much about women attire. So you will help me."

"What about Senior Wei and Hanguang-Jun?" Zhiquiang enquired.

"You send a message to Hanguang-Jun through Lan Clan's secret messaging system while my talisman will send this news to Wei gege," Euni replied as she stood up from her place.

"Okay." Zhiquiang nodded and spread his palm. A golden butterfly formed on his hands and it flew away. "It's done. Hanguang-Jun will receive my message."

"Great." Euni smiled. She took out her talisman and chanted something. When her lips stopped, she threw the talisman and it went after the golden butterfly. "It's done Lan er gege. Let's go."

Zhiquiang and Euni entered into Ling City again. Euni jumped around the shopping looking at the woman robes while Zhiquiang kept refusing. Euni selected most slender ones while Zhiquiang kept saying 'too transparent', 'too much skin exposing' etc.

Finally, Euni entered a shop and her eyes fell on a very fade blue dress with blue designs on it. Euni's eyes were stuck to the dress like a child looking at a candy.

"Excuse me miss, would you like to try this one?" The shopkeeper asked her with a gentle smile.

"Sure madam." Euni smiled. "Would it look good on me?"

"No!" Zhiquiang said as he entered the shop.

"Zhiquiang! You kept saying no." Euni thinned. "How will I buy clothes if you keep saying no?"

"Young Master, your wife will look good in this attire." The woman bowed. "I am sure you won't be able to take your eyes off her. Her choice is amazing."

"But..."

"No more buts Zhiquiang." Euni cut Zhiquiang's words. "Madam will help me to change. You wait here."

"Miss, it looks like your husband loves you very much." The woman said helping Euni to wear her new robes.

"Well... it's not like that. We are just..."

"I know miss." The woman interrupted while helping her. "I know that you are a newly married couple, so he is so protective and you are so shy." She put a second layer of dress. "You are really beautiful and bold. No doubt why he is in deep love with you."

"Madam." Euni blushed deeply. "Does my dress look too exposing?"

"No Miss." The woman said putting the belt around Euni's waist. "You look stunning. Your body is so soft and slender. I am sure he would have a hard time controlling himself." The woman chuckled.

Euni smiled and went outside the dressing room. Zhiquiang was waiting for her. No sooner she stood before her, his jaws dropped to the ground. He immediately composed himself. A moment later a frown formed on his face.

"Zhang Euni! What is this? Change your robes."
