Louis' POV

The next morning, Louis found himself in an unfamiliar girl's bed as per usual and followed his routine of exiting the house before she stirred awake.

As he struggled to find his shirt and where it quickly but quietly he silently cursed to himself and wondered if this was even worth all the trouble.

When he had safely made his way back to his apartment, he saw Niall sitting outside the door.

Niall looked up at Louis as he walked up and stood up, complaints spilling out in quick succession.

"Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting here? I called you a billion times and you never answered, the least you could do when you're on one of your night excursions is to keep you fucking phone on." he said adding a string of curses in Irish.

"I'm so sorry Niall but you can't really blame me because how on earth was I supposed to know you'd be here!?"

"Yeah yeah, it's all my fault, happy? Now are you going to make me sit outside your flat for another hour or are we going to go in?"

Louis hurriedly opened the door, not wanting to anger Niall more.

Upon going inside, Niall suddenly seemed to brighten up. He grabbed hold of Louis and spun him around the room, laughing merrily while louis looked at him wondering if he had lost his mind.

"In all this waiting outside hassle, I almost forgot to tell you what I came here for!!! LOU I FOUND YOU AN APARTMENT" he yelled out in pure excitement , his voice many octaves higher.

"What!? Are you fucking serious!? You found me an apartment within two days of me asking you, how do you even manage to do these things!? I don't know what I'd do without you" Louis said, feeling light headed all of a sudden.

"Well when you went after that girl.."
Louis had the decency to look embarrassed. "Yeah so I was saying, after you went after that girl, this friend of mine from college, Liam, who I'd not seen years walked into the bar.. His father is in the apartment buying, selling, renting business. Yeah so he was telling me about how they just moved here because his sister got a scholarship to an amazing university here and they realised that it'd be best if they all moved in here to as their business back home wasn't doing to well anyway. So his father sold his stocks to invest in a apartment complex nearby and he's giving out apartments for rent." Niall said excitedly.

"No way.." Louis said listening in rapt attention.

"YES WAY!! So I told him about you and how you were looking for an apartment within a budget and he said he has the perfect thing in mind for you except you'd have to share with a roommate, but it won't be so bad because this apartment is nearly twice the size of your old one and is located at an excellent spot, I think it's absolutely perfect Louis."

"It sounds perfect to me too!!" Louis said, clapping his hands together in joy.

"Liam said you can come see the apartment tomorrow morning if you like" Niall said, his eyes twinkling with happiness for his best mate.

"Oh Niall.." that was all louis could manage to say before he tackled Niall to the ground with a bear hug.

"Get off me you small oaf" Niall said affectionately.

"Love you pal, thank you so much" Louis said trying to make it sound as manly as he could but failing miserably.

"Anything for you buddy" Niall said awkwardly patting him on the shoulder.
