***Jess's P.O.V***

Birthday has always been special for me.. And this time I have been excited about it. But all my excitement turned into disappointment after that fight with Michael during the afternoon.

Flashback:

"Why do you look tensed?" I asked Michael while he was glued to his cellphone.

"No I'm absolutely okay." He replied with a fake smile.

"Don't try to hide anything. I am your bestfriend and can read the expressions on your face very nicely." I answered back irritated.

"Look Jess you are overthinking." He again tried to conceal his emotions.

"Why are you not willing to share your problems with me? What is it that's bothering you? I can't see you sad and you know that." I stated softly.

"Please Jess stop it. Enough is enough..you are just pulling the matter." He snapped at me.

I just shivered in fear by seeing his sudden response. He never talked like this to me.

"Mike you have changed. You don't care for me now." I whispered.

"No I still care for you cupcake and always will. You know that." He replied in a soft tone and a genuine smile.

That's it..his charming smile does it all. I just melted.

I asked feigning to be sad: "Why didn't you wish me then? Every year you wish me at first."

"Oh!! I am so sorry. I wanted to wish but.." before he could say any further his phone beeped.

That was the limit. Who the hell is calling? why can't anyone leave us alone?

"See I told you." I said pointing at the cell-phone.

"No you are misjudging me again. Let me explain it to you." He pleaded as he put his hands over my shoulder.

Explain... explain... I just don't get it. He probably is too busy to wish me in my birthday...

I shrieked my shoulder roughly and replied in one breath:

"You don't have to explain. You don't have to wish. In fact don't even bother to come for the party." I snapped at him and stormed out of the room as he stays there with a shocked expression.

End of flashback.

I don't know what came over me that time. I am just having a feeling that Michael doesn't want to maintain friendship with me. He doesn't even share his problems; whereas when problems come he is the first one to acknowledge it.

I should not have said those things. I'm feeling really guilty. I wish he would have come but as far as I know him, Mike is very self-respective guy so he would never come after getting all those scolds from me. I miss him.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door:

"Maam, please come down quickly. Guests have arrived." My maid informed and left.

Quickly I finished my make-up and went downstairs to the party. Lastly I put a smile so that no one suspects that my mood is pissed off, especially Zac.

***Kate's P.O.V***

It hasn't been a week I have came here and so I didnt pack any party dress for me. Who knew that Jess would become my bestfriend? and now her birthday is today! I have hothing to wear still I was trying the outfits I've packed. Obviously, I can't miss her birthday party, plus I couldn't go to shopping.

Someone knocked! I am at Jessy's dorm..so who could it be? Zac? No! I don't want to see his face again and why the hell his name came to my mind?? Urggh!

I opened the door nervously. Hopefully it wasn't Zac, infact there was no one except a huge box left at the carpet, infront of the door. Has someone given a gift for Jess? I picked it and kept on Jessy's wardrobe. Something caught my eye - a note sticking to the box:

"I hope you wear this at Jessy's Birthday Party! A little gift from me :)

-Your Admirer."

Wait a minute, this isn't for Jess, its for me. I opened the box curiously. Holly Molly! its a black party dress. I just wished and now its on my hand. Oh God! I could not stop blushing, Michael bought a dress for me and he admires me.The realization brought a smile over my face.

Nah! may be I'm over assuming things. He might want to thank me for carrying out the plan and for that he has given me this gift. This made me also think, Jess is a very nice girl and she deserves the best. I wonder how she got trapped with that jerk. And on top of that she got into a fight with Michael. Both of them seemed really upset so I decided to execute this plan. I just hope it turns out well.

About the dress..I am feeling uneasy to wear it as I have never wore such short dress. I mean the dress looks simple and pretty but it ends above my knees and its sleeve-less & back-less. I am really feeling uncomfortable but I have wear it. Quickly I wore the dress, wore some light make-up and matching accessories and I was ready to go.I looked at the mirror and was like "Geez! thats me??I look...I look..different! And its a good different. "Can't believe I was mumbling and staring to myself for a while. At last I left for the party.

 As I reached the venue, I became awestruck. The ambience was so elegant as well as soothing. I must say the decorators are very skilled. The stairs were carpeted red. The surrounding was vivid and crowded. Everything was right in its place. The birthday theme was frozen and so hall room was giving 50 shades of blue color. It looked gorgeous.

Then I waited for Jess to come as I knew none of the guests, and was feeling a little awkward. Suddenly my eyes went on a guy. I could not see his face as I was behind him but from the back even he seems quite charming. The Armani suit hugged his body perfectly showing off his athletic figure and his chocolate hair was shining in the light. I really wanted to see his face but as my wish was fulfilled, I was shocked and disgusted, it was him again. Then all the memories of him kissing me in the cheek flooded back to my mind and I felt myself fuming.

But my thoughts were interrupted as a spotlight fell on him and another on Jessy as she was standing at the top of the stairs looking like an angel in her silver sparkling gown. Then Zac went up to her and holding her hand helped her descending the stairs while she was giggling like a kid. Aww she looks so cute and happy. Even Zac had a genuine smile over his face. Does that mean he actually loves her? Zac is so unpredictable and one can never know what's cooking in his mind.

Suddenly I was brought back from my train of thoughts through an announcement: "My homies and baes, I know you are enjoying the party and sorry for the brief interruption but I need to show something to Jess. I hope you like it darling."

Even I was curious to see his gift. Suddenly all the lights turned off. I could hear the clouds whispering. A spotlight appeared over Zac & Jess and another appeared over a big screen monitor.

Then a video was shown where two kids were playing and slowly they were growing up. The girl was Jess for sure and the guy seemed like Zac. Does that mean they are childhood sweethearts? In most of the pictures Jess was wearing a cheerleader outfit. The whole video was filled with Zac & Jessy's memories and throw backs.It really was a heart melting gift.

At last the video stopped and I turned to Jess to see her reaction. Her eyes were filled with happy tears. Then Zac unveiled a cheerleader outfit and said:

"Tada! Your dream was to be the head cheerleader and now u has achieved it. So I am just giving you something that will help you to live your dream. It's a simple gesture of love and affection for my darling sister."

Wait, wait, wait! What was that? darling sister?? My jaw dropped. I could not believe what he just uttered. Jess and Zac were SIBLINGS!?! Then the whole video thing got into my mind. How could I be so dumb? I should have noticed that even their surnames matched. Ugh..silly me!

Then I saw Jess rushing towards Zac and giving him a warm hug replying:

"I love you bro"

"I love you too my cute little sister." He said and kissed her forehead just like he did on the kidnapping night. He even stressed on the word sister and smirked at me.

Oh shit.. How could I be such an idiot? How on earth did I assume them to be a couple? I even shared it with Zac. What an embarrassment!! Oh wait. Then the realization struck me, I did share my assumption with Zac but he did not clear my misconception in fact he fueled it. He did that purposely just to make fun of me. Urgghh..he is such a jerk.

But what he did for Jess today was really sweet, does that make him a sweet jerk? what am I thinking? Zac doesn't have any sweet side. Then Zac came down of the stage and winked at me which made me blush. Whait...why the heck did I just blush? Oh I hate myself. Zac would not let go this matter so easily. He would keep taunting me. What if he tells this to Jess? Should I talk to him? This might make the matter more worse.. Oh God this is gonna be a hell of a night.

***Zac's P.O.V***

When I said the word darling-sister, Wild cat's face was hilarious. She looked as if someone has punched hard on her gut. I felt like bursting out in laughter but I controlled myself. But she is seriously a big idiot. How could she think that me and Jess are a couple? But it was fun playing around with her. I thought as I smiled to myself.

"Hey buddy. Why are you smiling to yourself?" Dave asked as he patted on my shoulder.

"Nothing I am just planning something in order to make the night more memorable." I replied with an mischievous smile.

"I know that smile of yours dude. You are planning something evil. Hurry up tell me." He told with huge excitement.

"Have some patience buddy. Just wait and enjoy the scene." I replied as I grabbed a drink from the passing waiter.

"As you wish, but I have my own plans." Dave stated by looking at someone but I don't know who.

But I did not bother to ask because it had to be a girl. It was my party, so obviously the girls had to be hot and sexy. As I thought it my eyes wandered towards wild cat. She was looking nice. No that would be an understatement. How much I hate her but I have to admit she is gorgeous. She was looking hot in that black dress and obviously she had to look hot because the dress was given by me. Silly kitty! you would get fooled by me more than u can imagine. Your dress would go perfectly with my plan. I knew that if I write "Admirer" she will assume its Mike and wear the dress.

My thoughts were interrupted as Dave said: "Okay dude, see you later. I'll enjoy myself a bit." He winked.

I just returned a smile and went to the bar to order coke. I feel ashmed to order a coke cause coke is for kids but I'm actually ordering it for a baby so no probs. As the bartender handed me a glass of coke, I brought a white packet out of my coat's pocket, and smirked while only one thing was going on my mind: It will be a night full of fun for the hot and crispy wild cat.
