***Michael's P.O.V***

I am so happy that everything is sorted out between me and Jess.

Now we are together enjoying her birthday. But most importantly we were dancing. This is not the first time that we are dancing together but to tell the truth whenever I dance with her, it does feel like the first time.

It just feels so peaceful to be able to stay so near to her. Not only can my eyes feel relaxed seeing that sweet innocent smile on her face but even my heart starts beating fast as she leans on my chest and tries to enjoy a slow dance. We know each other since childhood and though we fight on petty things but I can do anything to bring that genuine smile on her face. I feel so protective of her. She is one of the closest and significant people in my life and I want to be with her enjoying every dance of my life.

Suddenly I was brought back from my train of thoughts as Ellie, Jess's housekeeper interrupted our dance.

"Ma'am there is someone who wants to meet you and said it is very important."

"Okay I am coming. Michael I will be back in a bit." She said with a smile.

As she went away I started looking for Kate because the last time I saw her, during the cake cutting she said that she was not feeling well.

I skimmed the room and found Justin trying to misbehave with her:

"Hey baby, come on let's have some fun." He told her as he kept trying to force himself on her.

I got furious. How dare he touch her?

So I stormed to him and in a jiff separated that asshole from her.

"Get out of here and don't you ever come near her again." I warned him.

"We were just having fun but as you are too jealous then fine I'll leave her with you." Then he left and I turned to Kate ignoring everything.

"Are you okay?" I asked her in a concerned way.

"Thank you Mikey. You are always so sweet and caring." She hugged me.

"Why wont I be? You are my friend Kate." I smiled as I hugged her back in a friendly way.

She seemed a little different from her usual self. I mean her body language and attitude was queer.

"Will you d-d-dance w-it-h me?" She asked in a slurred way.

Then the realization stuck me:

KATE IS DRUNK

I can't leave her alone in here as she might be in a problem but I need to find Jess because she can only handle her. You know how girls handle girls' stuffs.

"Relax! Relax!" I whispered to myself.

Jess would come soon but until then I need to keep Kate busy so that she does not end up in a mess. Therefore it would be best if I dance with her.

"As you wish Kate" I replied her with a smile.

Then we went to the dance floor and started to groove over the music.

Suddenly the song changed and a soft, romantic track played and I had to do a close dance with Kate.

On top of it Kate leaned on my chest. I know it was due to the alcohol and as a good friend I can't just shove her away.

So I played along but I guess luck was not on my side as Jess came over and saw us in that situation.

Oh shit!!!!!

At first she looked hurt and then the expression changed into a angry one as she left.

I need to talk to Jess and clear this misconception but I can't leave Kate like this.

Oh God save me.

What should I do?

I was seriously doomed.

Then out of nowhere Dave showed up.

"May I dance with this pretty lady for some time?" he requested.

I thought Dave wouldn't harm Kate so she would be safe with him,

"Okay Dave but take care of her until I come back with Jess. She is drunk so don't leave her alone." I informed him.

"As you say dude, she is in safe hands now." He replied responsibly.

I was relieved by hearing Dave and was ready to handle Jess's wrath.

She seemed really upset. It is her birthday today and I made her upset twice. I am so angry on myself. But I will somehow pacify her. I HAVE TO APPEASE HER.

***Zac's P.O.V***

(Scene: While Michael & Kate were dancing)

After I came back from solving the catering problem I saw wild cat dancing with Michael. Not only that she was also leaning on his chest...!!!!

They were dancing like a couple. I was feeling uneasy seeing them this close.

Damn!! What is wrong with this girl?

Why is she always partial towards Michael?

I mean when we were dancing she did not lean over my chest.

What are you even saying Zac? I thought to myself.

Few minutes back Mike was dancing with Jess and now he is getting cozy with wild cat.

Does Jess know about it?

Then like God answered my prayers and Jess came to the scene and saw them being this cozy.

I felt even angrier seeing my sister hurt.

I just don't understand what does Mike actually want?

If he wants to be with Jess then why is he getting close to Kate and if he likes Jess then he should tell her. Its been ages. How much Jess tries to hide it from me, I know she likes him too.

Anyways as Jess told me to stay out of it so I can't say anything but I hope wild cat understands that she is coming between them which I won't allow cause I wont let anyone to snatch my sister's happiness.

Jess left sadly and that jerk was still dancing with wild cat. I was about to go to stop them from dancing and then Dave came into the scenario.

Now what does he want?

He was saying something to Mike and then Mike gave wild cat's hand to Dave and left.

What is wrong with everyone today?

Why does every one want to dance with wild cat?

Why can't they leave her alone?

Actually its not their fault. Wild cat is looking super hot and sexy in this black dress that I gave to her. All credits to me.

Whatever, I stopped thinking about it as my phone started to ring.

I picked it up but due to the loud music I couldn't hear anything.

So I went out and kept saying 'HELLO' for like 50 times but no one answered and I thought of returning to the party.

But on my way back I met an old friend and started talking to him.

After like 15 minutes I went back to the party.

As I entered I could not believe what my eyes were seeing.

"What the f...??"

Wild cat was shouting drunkenly by standing on the top of the bar:

"I want a drink a-nd th-is s-t-u-p-i-d bartender is saying that I can't get anymore c-a-u-s-e I am d-r-u-n-k. Do I look like a Drunk-en F-o-o-l?" She slurred.

"Now shut-up and g-i-v-e me a glass of y-o-u-r best drink!" She hiccupped.

Whether she is drunk or not wild cat will never leave her habit of being a teacher.

She always yells at others and thinks that she is the only RIGHT person.

Never does she try to listen to others or understand them. Everyone was looking at her or more precisely laughing at her. Though I wanted to see her in this condition but for some reason I felt bad. I felt pity on her. Few of the boys were even checking out her body which made my blood boil up.

So I did what I thought was appropriate at that moment.

I went over to the bar and carried her in my shoulder and forcefully carried her out of the party and started walking towards the garden.

But as wild cat is-

She kept struggling in my arms and ranted only one thing.

"ZAC put me down, I w-a-n-t a drink." she kept screaming.

Then after reaching the garden I put her on the grass and uttered in irritation:

"Shut up wild cat. You know what you look like right now? A drunken fool!" before she was gonna say anything I ordered : "Put a finger on your lips. Not another word!"

And like a good kid she did that.

She actually put a finger on her lips and was silent while blinking her eyes like a kid.

How adorable! She looked so cute and innocent.

All my anger just flew away. She really does have a strong and unknown effect on me.
