***Zac's P.O.V***

I am really worried about wildcat, I hope Dave does not do anything disgraceful to her. Who are you kidding with Zac? Dave means disgusting things so there is no doubt that he is planning to do cheap and dirty stuffs with Kate right now.

Oh the feeling of Dave being close to Kate is just enough for me to place a punch on his face.

I mean I know we have knocked up girls before but it was never against their will. In fact girls always used to drag us to the bedroom from the party and as a sign of chivalry we never refused them.

But what Dave did today is just outrageous. Wild cat would never want a guy like Dave to take her V thing.

I am sure she never had any boyfriend, which probably means she never kissed a guy. I understood it when I saw her red tomato face when I kissed her on the cheek. Her face turned crimson red due to a mixture of anger and embarrassment.

I should say she was blushing a bit. She was looking like 'my' typical wild cat. I suddenly put a brake to the car when I realized what I just uttered. Then my inner self reassured me saying that I said it right because only I have the copyright to call her wild cat.

As I was going to start my car again I saw that I was already in front of Dave's house. I rushed to the door and with the spare key I had of his house and unlocked the door.

Yes I have a spare key to his house so that I could come here whenever I wanted to even if it means to come at 3 o clock in the morning.

I can not believe I was going to hit my best friend. No I guess I would just push him away, scold him a bit and take Kate away. I can not harm him much after all he is my best buddy.

But all my softness for Dave vanished in a moment as I finally opened the door.

"Baby, I know you want me just be little calm and I promise to give you the best night of your life." Dave said as he was forcing himself to kiss her.

Wild cat was struggling hard to get away from his clutches.

This is enough; I could not take it anymore and with full rage rushed towards them. In a swift move I separated Dave from Wild cat and threw a strong punch over his face. Immediately his nose started bleeding and he fell on the ground.

He fell on the ground unconscious, not because of the punch but to being heavily drunk he passed out.

For a minute, I felt pity on him but then seeing Wildcat with a confused expression and was shaking in fear, my anger was back and I scooped Kate in my arms in the bridal style and headed towards the car without giving a second glance to my jerk friend. I am not sure if I can call him that anymore.

While going towards the car I noticed that even Wildcat passed out in my arms so I softly placed her inside the car and then we left for her hostel.

As I was driving I could not stop myself from thinking about our first encounter.

~Flashback:

Dave and I were teasing girls as usual near the mall just to pass our time suddenly our attention was caught towards an extremely sexy blonde girl and in the moment of heat Dave called out her, "Hey hottie"

Unfortunately that girl did not turn but an innocent looking beautiful girl turned towards us. I had seen more pretty girls but there was something angelic about her that I could not take my eyes of her.

This was my first impression of Kate but I guess I made a slight mistake by assuming her innocent because the next moment she furiously stormed towards us and slapped me on the face.

What the hell!! I did not even said anything to her...

~Flashback ends.

I was brought back to reality as Kate gave a little cough in her sleep. I guess she was feeling cold so I covered her with same coat that she left on the bench. I placed in the back seat I do not know for what reason but it became fruitful now. She fell asleep.

Within some time we reached her hostel but it was closed. I glanced at my watch, it was 2 am of course it had to be closed. How foolish of me!!

So I decided to take her to our house.

As I parked the car in my drive way I saw the party was over but there were drunk and wasted boys and girls sleeping all over the place.

I decided to take her to my room as I knew there would be filthy couples in the guest rooms making out.

As I stepped inside my room I placed her on my bed and closed the door then I went to the washroom and changed to wearing my t-shirt and shorts as I knew Wildcat would freak out if she wakes up and sees me half-naked.

After coming out of the washroom I could smell a weird odor in my room and tried to find the source of it then I realized that it was coming from Wild cat. Her clothes were stinking due to the vomiting she did earlier. Her clothes needed to be changed.

And a very brilliant and naughty idea came to my mind.

Zac you are just awesome and slightly wicked. I said it to myself.

Kate will have the best shock in the morning.

***Jessy's P.O.V***

Why do I always feel annoyed whenever I see Kate and Michael together? Do I feel jealous? No I just feel protective about my best friend. Today is my birthday so I deserve to spend time with my best buddy and I find nothing wrong with it.

"No dear, there is nothing wrong with it." I got startled with Nanny Sofia's voice.

I guess I was speaking my mind out loudly which made me a little embarrassed. I know Nanny Sofia had always been like a mother figure but talking about my friendship with Michael with her is little awkward.

"My child do not be shy you can share your feelings with me." She said with full of concern.

"I know but there is nothing to share." I forced a smile.

"You are lying my dear, I have raised you so I know very well when my pumpkin is sad or upset." She said with a small smile.

Yes, she is right she can understand my emotions better than me.

I was interrupted in my thoughts as she continued:

" I know you are upset because of the closeness of Kate and Michael. I noticed your sullen face when they were dancing." She shared as she sat beside me.

I was sitting in the favorite place of my house.

It was under the staircase.

Whenever I used to feel scared or sad I used to come here and sit for long hours thinking about my life.

Only Michael and nanny knew about this place.

"There is nothing to talk about nanny. If you are thinking that I am in love with Michael then you are completely mistaken because he is my best friend and I don't have romantic feelings towards him. Yes I was upset that he was spending more time with Kate on my birthday, and I guess as his best friend I can expect from him to be with me all day on such a special day, but to my disappointment he chose to fight with me at first then he was dancing with Kate, leaving me all alone. Thank God I do not love him because he could not fulfill the duty of a friend then how would he have fulfilled the responsibility of being my boyfriend. If he wants to be with Kate then I don't have a problem with it. In fact I will be happy for both of my friends." I choked as I busted out my anger.

"No, dear these are not your true feelings; in fact you are saying all this because you are mad at him. It is your anger and disappointment which is forcing you to say all these." She stated.

"You are saying that Michael is your best friend so you cannot be romantically involved with him but my dear I have seen many relationships which bloomed from friendship and proved to be epic in the long run." She continued.

There was silence for a moment as I was installing her words into my system.

She started again:

" In fact you should feel lucky if you get the opportunity of having your best friend as your life partner. We want our life partner to understand us, be supportive in every situation and love us unconditionally and that is exactly that Michael feels about you."

Before I could say anything in response her phone buzzed out.

"Listen dear Zac just messaged me as he needs a little help so I will be back in a while." She said with a smile.

"No I will go to my room and sleep. I will talk to you later." I replied with a small smile.

"Okay dear you take care. Goodnight pumpkin." She placed a kiss on my forehead.

I told her to leave because I needed some alone time to think bout what she just said to me and figure out my real emotions regarding our friendship.

I guess it is gonna be a long night.
