It wasnt this day though, it was 10/1/2020 Friday evening, but the country announced it at 11/1 Saturday morning....

It was a heart breaking news, hearing it while the heavy rain covering it and the wind is blowing everything so harshly outside, our country lose her president, (Qaboos) The Sultanate of Oman President,  after taking the rule for 50 years, the longest president in this big responsibility chair....I'm in my 25 now and this year 26, Since I was young I only hear his name and look at him sitting on that golden chair...

I open my school books and his picture is the first thing I see, he take the ruling chair  even before my parents get married,  my mother and father always telling us his stories and what he did to the country,  from poor uneducated country to a developed modern country...

Sultanate of Oman, Who doesn't know this country that become an emperor? Since the start of the history Oman was a peaceful yet powerful country, no harm, no hate, no racism, everyone enter it say Oman is the peacefulest country, because of him, he live for the country and die for the country, this country didn't participate in any war, even in the recent war that is happening next to it, our beliefs will never be understood, why?  Because you didn't live and grow inside this country, no one know the country better than their own people, right??....

I am an Omani girl who is living in UAE (United Arab Emirates), in my University the teachers loves me and they always talk about Oman and how they Loves this country and the people in it, the Omani student are the best for them since they NEVER see anything bad from them and they are doing their best in everything...You know how much this makes me proud?? So much proud that I want to be a perfect stodent to show them that they are not wrong, their expectations are in the right place....

This day was so heavy for us, I still hear the rain drops so heavily outside, its like the sky is crying, we always sing in the National anthem of our country for the sky to bless him, and here it is, Allah accept our prayers and pless him, rain is not something bad, when it rain that's mean the heaven doors are open, so what you pray will be accepted and it will happen soon or later....

I still remember how happy I was when I performed in front of him with my school friends for the national day when I was in grade 7, I was like: "OMG I Am in Front Of His Majesty!! Damn I Should Perform Perfectly!!", I still remember the moves and the songs of the whole event, it was something unforgettable...

And today too, it will surely be unforgettable day in the Arab world, even United Kingdom will setback the flags for him which is never happen before for the other countries,  this is shown how respectful and powerful and meaningful his Majesty Qaboos is for the UK, they are calling him (Son of Queen Elizabeth), he studied there and he grew up there too, but he didn't forget his people, he come to take his responsibility in 1970 and now he leave us...

So!!

We have a new Majesty for the country and he is the trusted one after his Majesty Qaboos, we know that he will continue to make our country a great country....

Please rest in peace,  we will surely be ok, our country be ok...❤
