Soon after the hieroglyph appeared, fire began to spread from all directions from the hieroglyph. I began to push against the spell. The fire stopped spreading, and actually began retreating to the hieroglyph, which sucked up the fire. As soon as the last bit of fire was sucked up, the hieroglyph sizzled out. I knew two things. The gods were outraged that there was an attack on Olympus. And they were not going to sit around and wait for another attack.

Several Weeks Later.

Who knew that so much could happen in weeks time? Well a lot sure did happen. The gods immediately sprung into action and began attacking Egyptian places of residence in the USA. With hours upon hours of negotiating, we had convinced nearly everyone on our ally wish list to join us. When I say nearly, that's because there are some from most places that didn't want to join. We also couldn't reach the dragon world. For example, a small group of vampire, werewolves, and witches joined the other side instead. A small group of people from the Outskirts rebelled and joined the other side. As I said, some from nearly each place we allied with joined the other side. During that few weeks, we also managed to exterminate the enemy from the USA. We put a spell to disrupt them coming here through magic. Any USA territory was protected by the spell. They would have to come on foot. The enemy has attacked us a few times, in New York, Boston, Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington D.C., and along the Cheasapeake and Delaware bay, all by sea. Other attacks have happened along the East Coast. Seems like they haven't gotten to the Pacific yet. Some of my army was slowing them down in Mexico, Canada, and South America in general. I also had ships slowing them down from sailing. I've sent parts of my navy to battle in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and islands in that area. My army is also slowing them down in many parts of Asia, Europe, and Africa. By the end of August, the war was in full bloom.
