Taehyung and Hylie were now preparing to leave the house so that she could go to her school. Taehyung was just making sure Hylie's bag was neat and her school stuff was complete.

“Is there anything you need to bring?” Taehyung asked while arranging her lunch box.

“Nothing, Mom already bought them last night.” Hylie said as she put on her shoes and stood up.

“That's cool.” Taehyung closed her bag and stood up as well, carrying her bag. “We should get going now, your class was about to start.” he offered his hand.

Hylie always liked that gesture, held his hand and they went out of Taehyung's house. To Taehyung's surprise, Jungkook was still there even though he thought Jungkook had already left.

“Why are you still here? Did you forget something inside?” He asked Jungkook.

“Nothing, I will take you and that brat to her school.” He simply said.

“I'm not a brat!” Hylie glared at him even though she was basically hiding behind Taehyung's leg.

“You don't have to do that, it's just a walking distance.” Taehyung replied.

“It just happened I am going somewhere near there,” Jungkook uttered. “Don't decline my offer, let's go.” He grabbed the bag from Taehyung's arm and carried it on with his one arm while his other hand grabbed Taehyung's arm and dragged him with him.

Taehyung was a bit surprised but fortunately, he was holding Hylie tightly. As they were on the road, Jungkook's car was already parked there. Jungkook opened the door of the passenger seat. He threw the bag there and let Hylie go inside. Taehyung was about to follow, but Jungkook closed the door and dragged Taehyung to the other side of the driver's seat.

“Get in.” Jungkook opened the door.

Taehyung couldn't protest and just went inside while Jungkook followed afterwards. It was not Hylie's first time being in Jungkook's car because sometimes he would drive her to her school when Taehyung had to leave early.

“You're coming with me.” Jungkook told Taehyung while driving.

“Huh?” Taehyung was obviously baffled. “Where to?” he asked, looking at Jungkook.

“You'd know once we were there.” Jungkook replied.

“You know I had to go to my job, right? I can't take an absence, Jungkook.” Taehyung reminded him.

“You don't have to worry, I'll talk to your manager. All you had to do was listen to me.” Jungkook stated.

Taehyung wanted to argue, but he knew it wouldn't work because once Jungkook made a decision, he would do it. Well, Taehyung was sure he would get paid for it so it's not much of a problem for him.

“Bye, Uncle Tae!” Hylie said once they arrived at her school.

“I'll call your teacher if I can't pick you up, okay? Don't go to strangers without telling your teacher. Do you remember our password?” Taehyung was referring to a question Hylie would ask if a stranger claimed to be her relatives.

“Yes!” Hylie confidently replied.

“Good.” Taehyung ruffled her hair. “Go inside now.” He stood up and Hylie waved her hand before walking away from him.

Once Taehyung was sure she was fully inside. He went back inside the car where Jungkook was waiting for him. Jungkook started to drive while Taehyung was thinking about where Jungkook might bring him.
