The Slytherin dungeons weren't Sirius' favourite place to be, he didn't want to give people the wrong idea. However, Aimee's friendship with the Gryffindor girls caught his interest, he wanted to know why they were hanging out together. While he wasn't sure what he wanted to accomplish, she hadn't spoken to him in almost two weeks.

He had been waiting outside the Slytherin dormitory for nearly an hour, all he needs was for one Slytherin student to come by so they could give her a message. He waited just a few more minutes, then he heard footsteps were becoming louder someone was coming this way, two girls laughter echoed through the halls.

"Sirius?" Narcissa questioned, she waited for him to say something, he flicked his eyes over to her friend, she sighed, "Helene, you go on ahead and-

"And miss the show, not likely,"

"Now Zabini, or do I have to dock points from my own house," Narcissa warned, the witch after she interrupted her, beautiful witch rolled her eyes at her before waltzing through the door. "Right what do you want?" Narcissa asked.

"Why are you friends with her, I've seen her around the school, she can be a real bitch,"

"You don't know her, now what are you doing here?" Narcissa asked more firmly

"Will you ask Burke to meet me," he asked

"Burke? I don't believe I know a Burke," she told him, acting clueless

"You do, you saw us talking-

"Talking? Was that what it was, it seemed like she was pretty mad at you," Narcissa questioned, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, well I want to apologise to her, she hasn't spoken to me in a while," he admitted

"I don't know what happened, but if I were as mad as what she was, I wouldn't just accept an apology,"

"Well, then what should I do?" Sirius asked

"I'll talk to her, you need to show her you're sorry and mean it," she advised, he nodded

"Thanks, Cissy-

"Just Narcissa at school," she corrected him, he creased his brows, she never minded him calling her by a nickname he was curious to know what she would tell Aimee.

Narcissa entered her common room, she spotted Helene flirting her way through the boys and girls, she shook her head, rolling her eyes at the young beauty. There was only one boy she would ever consider dating, but he was no longer here.

Malfoy was amongst the boys that Helene flirted with, he looked incredibly annoyed with her, they had been friends since they were toddlers. She knew Malfoy a lot longer than Narcissa did, anyone in the world could see that they were nothing more than good friends, then she spotted Aimee sitting by the fireplace luckily she was alone.

"Hi, I was wondering if I could talk to you," Narcissa asked, she nodded moving her textbooks aside.

"You told me, you and Sirius were friends?" she questioned, "but when I saw you both in the hall, you seemed mad at him, I was just wondering is everything alright between you two?"

"We just had a fight," she said,

"Sirius does like you, but he is a very strong-willed person, he'll come round soon, just give him time,"

"What about Malfoy he seems to really like you," Narcissa hummed, "Do you not like him?" she asked

"It takes more than a lot of flirty comments and a few cheesy pick-up lines to impress me," Narcissa told her, Aimee smiled.

She never said she didn't like him, that gave her an idea, as Narcissa left for her own room. Aimee plucked up the courage to walk across the common room to Malfoy, he was surrounded by his friends which didn't make it any easier to approach him.

"Excuse me, Malfoy could I talk to you, please?" she asked as confidently as her mind would allow her.

"Duty call, Prefect," a boy their age said loudly, laughing with Helene, Malfoy rolled his eyes at his mocking tone.

"Quiet Nott, or I'll give you detention, it is my duty after all," he walked away with Aimee "what do you want?" he asked

"I know how to get Narcissa Black to ask you out,"

He looked around, gesturing for Aimee to follow him, she walked behind him she was being led towards the fifth year bedrooms. He opened his door allowing her to enter before him, she looked around, his bedroom was organised everything had its place, and nothing was out of place.

"So sit down tell me why you going help me," he said, Aimee sat on the edge of his bed

"Well, I think she likes you but doesn't like how you pursue her," he sat back on his bed, waiting for her to continue.

"Then what do you suppose I do?" he questioned

"Back off a little, not majorly, I understand that you're friends," he nodded "talk to her still, just cut back on the flirty comments,"

"How much?"

"Don't flirt with her at all, she'll wonder why you aren't interested, then she'll come seeking you," he thought about what she said, he gritted his teeth shaking his head that he was about to take advice about dating from a first-year, who probably never had any kind of relationship in her life.

"And you're positive that will work?" Malfoy asked,

"I'm sure, do everything I told you and she'll be yours," she told him, offering him an assuring smile

"I hope you're right about this, Burke,"

"Yes, I am and it's Aimee," she held her hand out to Malfoy.

"Lucius," he said, shaking her hand.

The next morning she rushed out of bed, her hair was too tangled to brush her hair properly, she had to bunch her hair into a messy bun. She raced out of her dorm room, she had ten minutes to get to class, which meant she had to skip breakfast. Aimee reached the classroom sitting at an empty desk. She leaned over to Remus.

"I'm not late, am I?" he shook his head

"How are you getting along with the Hobbit?" he asked

"I'm almost finished, I just have two chapters left," he smiled at her, she sighed when James sat with Alice. She cursed under her breath, she prayed the Sirius wouldn't sit with her, however, her prayer went unanswered, he attempted to make conversation with her, she ignored him.

She focused on her work, while Sirius made it difficult to concentrate, he would lean over the desk to whisper a joke to Peter which made him laugh. The professor looked their way, Sirius sat back in his chair sighing loudly.

'Is he trying to annoy me?' Aimee thought, she continued with her work ignoring his questions and hellos, he clenched his jaw.

'Now she's being a stubborn bitch' he thought, Sirius tried to appear as though he was being productive so the professor didn't give him detention or dock any house points. He wondered if Narcissa had even attempted to talk to her, probably not.

After class had finished, she managed to be the first person out, she hide between to pillars, waiting for the rest of her class to come out. She held her breath as Sirius came outside, looking for her just like she thought he would.

"Have you seen Burke?" she heard him ask

"You know she has a name," Marlene told him, causing her to smile

"No, we don't know where Aimee went," Alice told him, pulling Marlene along with her.

When the halls had become quiet she poked her head out, looking left and right, no sign of him anywhere. She walked the opposite way, so she wouldn't run into him. 'I don't understand why is he so eager to talk to me?' She snuck into the library and planned on staying there until her next lesson.

Sirius wouldn't come to the library, it was too boring for him, she took this opportunity to get a head start on her defence against the dark arts homework. A loud noise from outside the library distracted her, hearing a familiar voice.

"It's the last place to look?" Sirius shouted to someone, Aimee scrambled her things into her bag, crouching down under the table, crawling along the floor, accidentally crawling over people feet startling them who sat at the desk.

"Aimee?" Alice said, "What are you doing under there?"

"Shh, I'm hiding," she whispered, Alice looked up noticing Sirius had walked into the library scanning around for someone.

Alice threw her bag other otherside of the table, helping to hide her the best she could, while she watched Sirius. When he had gone further into the library she nudged Aimee with her foot, she got the signal crawling out quickly, standing up heading towards the exit.

She spotted Sirius, swiftly pulling herself back, hiding again, she glanced around the corner he was gone. As she made an attempt to sprint for the door, he turned the corner placing his hand against the bookcase, stopping her in her path, he pressed his other hand against the other side of her blocking her from moving.

"You're avoiding me. Why?"

"You haven't given me a reason to believe you're actually sorry," she said, trying to sound confident in her answer

"I told you that I was sorry,"

"And I told you, that I don't believe you,"

"Alright, I asked Cissy for her help, just get you to talk to me, please Burke, give me a chance," she eyed him cautiously.

"What's my name?"

"What?"

"What's my name? Or have you forgotten it already," she asked

"I do know your name," Sirius said, smiling at her.

"Then what is it?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"Aimee, please give me a chance, I will do anything to prove I'm sorry," she raised her brows, a mischievous smirk grew on her face.

"Anything?"
