With the frenzy of Valentine's bliss, over with many who had nothing to celebrate felt a little better, fewer ice creams were being stolen from the kitchen. Aimee noticed that Narcissa never showed for breakfast, which was strange she was always in the great hall, she put her head down as she saw Theo and Jacob walking over to her.

"Happy birthday kid," Jacob said, shaking her shoulders

"Here," Theo handed her a big heavy box.

"Thank you, I'll open it when I get back to our common room,"

"Come on open it," Danny said sitting opposite her, she pressed her lips together

"Fine," she lifted the top off the box, her face lit up, at the collection of books they bought her, Jane Eyre, Little Women, The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn, The Picture of Dorian Gray.

"Do you like them?" Theo asked

"Yes I love them," she stood up hugging each of them,

"We each picked a book for you," Daniel said, picking the one he chose up.

"Charlie got you this one, he knows it's a wizarding book, but he still thinks you enjoy it," Jacob said handing her another book 'The Crystal Dream: a Seers Guide to Defining Dreams,'

"Ooh I've read about this one, Grammy has one too but her's has a lot of notes inside,"

"Glad you like them, we'll let you eat," Theo said, gesturing for Daniel and Jacob to leave her alone

She wondered where Evan and Regulus were they usually companied her to the Great Hall. She didn't mind being alone, it gave her time to be alone with her thoughts, she read the last few chapters of Wuthering Heights. Heading to the library, she hated having to spend her weekends in Hogwarts, she envied her brothers being older than her they had permission to go to Hogsmeade.

Hogsmeade village stood just outside of Hogwarts grounds, Aimee was most excited to go to Honeydukes. She always enjoyed the Honeydukes sweets on the Hogwarts Express, she wanted to have the full range of sweets to choose from. According to Andromeda, there was a book store in Hogsmeade, it's where she found Wuthering Heights.

"Hi, Madam Pince, I borrowed this book a little longer than agreed, I hope you don't mind," she handed back the book for Madam Pince to sign the book back into the library.

"It's no trouble, I know you'll return eventually," she smiled, noting down the book in her log. "Just don't make a habit of it,"

"I won't," she smiled at the librarian

As she made her way through the library she found her spot was occupied by some other students which meant she had to sit in the centre of the library. Aimee was particularly bothered where she sat but whenever she sat in the centre it meant someone could find her a lot easier.

"Right go find her, we're ready," Evan said

Prompting Regulus to go and find Aimee, he spotted Sirius he doubted she would be there as Potter was also with him. He checked the library, spotting her straight away, he shook his head, she probably didn't realise how long she had been sitting there. He snuck up behind her, looking over her shoulder at the book she was reading.

"Is it good?"

"Merlin's beard, you scared the crap out of me," she exclaimed holding her hand on her chest.

"Sorry, you've been here a long time, why don't you come back to the common room," he suggested

"Yeah, I guess I lost track of time," she glanced at the clock she had been sitting in the library for over six hours

Aimee and Regulus strolled back to their common room, he wanted to hurry her along. He resisted rushing her, as there was a little surprise waiting for her. As they turned onto the dungeon Regulus needed a way to distract her for a minute.

"Look theres a flock of Ravens flying around the tower," as she turned to look he sent red sparks down the hall, alerting Evan that they were coming.

"Yeah, would be really cool if they were flying around Ravenclaw tower," he chuckled he opened the door to their dormitory for her, she looked around it was very dark inside.

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Aimee looked all around her, she couldn't believe who was here to celebrate her birthday, she was shocked to see many Slytherins here to celebrate her birthday. Evan hurried to hug her as did Regulus, her brothers were next in line to hug her, she started crying. Jacob buried her face in his chest, chuckled as she was upset.

"What's the matter?"

"This why I don't like surprise parties," she mumbled he rubbed her shoulders,

As the initial excitement of the surprise party had calmed down she made her way around the people who decided to show up for her birthday. All were Slytherin except Dahlia and Dorcas, she questioned whether anyone was asked. Clearly, they had asked Dahlia and Dorcas, she would have thought that Lily might have come she was friends with Severus too.

She knew that James wouldn't come and therefore Sirius wouldn't either. Theo assured her that Amycus and Alecto were kept under close watch, to prevent them from ruining her birthday. She smiled as she spotted Narcissa with Rebekah and Helene, she made her way over to them.

"You look a lot better, than the last time I saw you," she commented making Narcissa smile, she turned to Helene "did they tell you what happened?"

"Oh yes, and I'm very disappointed that I missed it," she laughed with her, two boys walked over to them, both Narcissa and Rebekah walked away.

"Happy birthday, Aimee care for a dance," Lucius asked

"We aren't going to waltz are we?"

"No it'll be a lot more fun, you've met Theodore Nott haven't you," she nodded only briefly talking with him as they passed in their common room.

As the music played louder, Lucius spun her out onto the dance floor, she laughed the Malfoy family had a very proud reputation. When she saw him acting this way she realised he could be a lot of fun, she would assume he'd been a totally different person when he was at home. She saw the mischievous smile on his face her spun out and into his friend's arms, she laughed as she literally stumbled into him.

"I'm so sorry,"

"Don't worry about-

"Here I have something for you," Jacob pulled her away from Nott

"What?"

"Theo doesn't like him, I'd stay away if I were you,"

"Oh okay, by the way, who's idea was it?" she asked

"Regulus and Evan," she nodded heading over to Dahlia and Dorcas.

"Having fun I see?" Dorcas questioned

"Yes, why didn't anyone else come?"

"They were all asked even James, but they thought it would be strange having a party in here, I personally think it's a great place for a party, perfect atmosphere,"

"Thanks, I do feel awful that you're here by yourself,"

"I'm not, Dahlia is great company, I told them they were being ridiculous for not coming except Remus, he said he couldn't come because he had to go home tomorrow, his mother is well,"

"Again? Oh god, I hope she's alright,"

As the night went on she thought a lot about her friends if she could call them that. They were asked and wouldn't come. 'Was it the common room or the people inside why they wouldn't show?' That couldn't be Sirius' excuse he had been in her common room many times. She offered to walk Dorcas and Dahlia halfway however, they wouldn't allow it.

"Have you seen Evan and Regulus?" she asked,

"They went that way," Daniel told her, she watched as the common room emptied with many people retreating to their bedrooms, she saw Evan and Regulus smiling at her,

"Thank you for tonight, I really enjoyed it," she said

"You're thirteen now, need to celebrate becoming a teenager," Evan said, she chuckled

"Well thanks, I'm going to head to bed," she hugged Regulus kissing his cheek, she hugged Evan she questioned whether she should peck his cheek or not. She bit her lip pecking his cheek, he smiled at her,

"Goodnight Aimee,"
