Tiny lights across the midnight sky. Alex had spotted them from the corner of his eye. Parked his bicycle against the tree. The ground became fluorescent green, he dare not look up. Trembling with fear, a deep throbbing sound, the foliage around him billowing out as a beam shot down. He froze in a circle of light. 

A dark maroon alien creature with four purple eyes and tentacles descended in front of him. 

Alex gasped terror stricken. 

He sensed the alien smiling at him and heard a voice in his head say, 'Excuse me, I think you've dropped your phone'
