We are about to embark on the most difficult challenge that has been offered here at the pub, so far.

I don't know if I even want to be a part of this one.

and yes, this will be especially challenging because I will be including two of my own Poetry styles that I have created, as part of the challenge.

I know...

I am tooting my own horn a bit here, but, I do a lot of work here to keep the Pub moving and I think both of these styles will offer a particular challenge.

You will be asked to offer a different poem each day, in a different style on a different topic.

THIS WILL BE TOUGH.

To be declared the overall winner, you have to enter every single day.

So I would suggest you start writing the poems as soon as you can

To be the Queen or King of this Competition, you have to enter all 7 days.

The winner will be chosen based, in large part on the votes by the readers ...

It will also be based on a special formula I use that includes, reads, votes and comments. 

Also your participation is mandatory. You have to answer comments and be involved in others works as well.

We are family here and all competitions are friendly.

We will also choose the most popular poems from each days challenge.

Because of the anticipated volume of entries, there may be a delay in the actual posting of all entries.

The competition will continue for a week after the closing date to accommodate time for us to get all the entries posted in the right categories.

Final tabulation will commence on September 20, 2015.

In the event of ties, we will call on the readers to vote again.

IMPORTANT .....

BUT

We will accept poems in all 7 styles up until midnight , mountain time on September 13, as to accommodate those who may struggle with the new forms.

We do not want to discourage anyone from entering this competition. At the Pub, we are about helping, promoting and encouraging people to write poetry.

We will accept entries in advance, but it is recommended that you send them at the proper time to avoid any poems being lost.

The competition entries will be open for viewing and voting until September 19, 2015. The competition will then be closed for viewing and the winners announced.
