Disclaimer and Copyright Claim: Teagan Everly is my own original character, as is her mother, her father, her ex-husband, and her son. However, every other character mentioned in this profile has already been created by Jeff Davis, the creator of Criminal Minds, which is the fictional universe that my characters reside in. Teagan, her mother, her father, her ex-husband, her son, and their stories are all my original works that I have used to create my own story line that takes place before and during, and after Criminal Minds, making this a canon compliant work of fanfiction. In other words, it is an extension and addition to the Criminal Minds storylines that is meant to add to it in such a way that is entertaining to new readers but is not so far-fetched that it completely deviates from the overall plot of the series. It is not a full fanfiction, but it is a specific profile for my character and a summary of her story. I do not claim to own the Criminal Minds franchise or any of its characters, but I do own the characters of my own creation whom I have previously mentioned, which includes their stories and personalities. I also do not personally know Amy Acker.

Character Arc: Teagan Everly was born in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Her father was a corrupt police detective and her mother was a hardworking homemaker. Over the years, Teagan's father became drunk and abusive. To block out the fighting, Teagen would read her mother's old schoolbooks and became interested in Biology at a young age.
  When Teagan went to college, she studied Biology. She met a fellow Biology major in junior year and began dating him for several months. She fell head over heels in love with him and they got married shortly after she got her degree, despite his red flags.
  She got pregnant shortly after she married him. He was furious and ordered her to get an abortion, but she didn't want to. This led to him showing his true colors. He became physically abusive and she almost lost the baby. She managed to escape narrowly with her life and her baby's life, but she was unable to convict her husband due to his connections. He filed for divorce from her first, but she managed to get custody of their son.
  She moved to Malibu, California and began working as a Biology teacher to support her son and herself. Eventually, her ex-husband started stalking her and Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) had to get involved. Through them, she discovered that her son was genius. She sought their help in understanding her son while she tried to make ends meet as a single mother. She eventually became a Biology consultant for the BAU and developed a close friendship with them, as well as a romantic relationship with Spencer Reid, much to the happiness of Finn.  Teagan and Spencer separated briefly when Spencer was falsely imprisoned, but they got married when he got out.

Personality and Character Analysis: Teagan Everly is non-confrontational and prefers to live life under the radar. Her past has made her intensely paranoid and occasionally meek. However, her desire to protect her loved ones outweighs her meekness. She is extremely loyal, very knowledgeable about science and math, and quick when it comes to thinking.
  Not only is Teagan intelligent, but she is also extremely empathetic and her strength comes out when least expected. She is slightly unstable and has trust issues, but her loyalty and swift thinking make her a valuable ally.
