Narrator's Pov

"Where were you?" asked a firm Chiharu, with her arms crossed. "Somewhere" said Valt looking straight in her eyes with emotionless face. "And where is that somewhere?" asked Chiharu narrowing her eyes "..." Valt didn't answer it but instead he tried to go upstairs but Chiharu blocked his way. The twins looked at them, worried about them.

"You have to give a proper explanation if you want to go upstairs and do your work or whatsoever alone" said Chiharu, Valt froze when he heard her gravely voice yet he didn't say anything "I was with a friend" he answered and tried to go in but Chiharu grabbed his shirt and made him stand "Who was that 'friend'?" she asked in a deep voice

"....... It was Shu" said Valt after a minute of silence "it wasn't. Toko and Nika told me that he was with her, searching for you. He waited here almost for an hour but you didn't show up. So now. You're lying won't work here. And. I called all your friends. They told me that you were not with them" said Chiharu as her face darkened. Valt tremblingly backed away but he glared at the twins who looked away "Mom. I really was with my friend" he said

"LOOK AT ME WHEN I AM SPEAKING TO YOU YOUNG MAN" shouted Chiharu making Valt flinch as he looked at her to see her eyes burning with hatred. The twins know Chiharu will get angry at him but not this angry. Angry enough that she started to develop hatred to the 'friend' Valt was talking about. Valt gulped as Chiharu continued to speak. "I've told you many times that Lui isn't the one for you. He doesn't love you back. He doesn't even see you as a human being. So why you deny to give up on him?!" shouted Chiharu

Valt looked down, not saying a word. Chiharu continued to speak but he wasn't listening and Chiharu knew that. So. She did only one thing that was left. The only thing that she never thought she would do.

"From now on. You cannot go out without me or the twins with you. And your phone will be taken away as well" she finished off before she took the phone that Valt was holding away from him "W-wait! You can't do that! I am 17 years old for the god's sake! I need a phone for emergencies! And I need my privacy as well please!" he begged Chiharu but she didn't butch about it. She turned away and went to her room. But before she went. "Oh and, the twins will move to you're room incase if you try to escape by the window after all you're room is big enough" she said before going away

Valt stood there, shocked. His hands was shaking he didn't even know what to do but. Something inside him snapped. He glared at the twins with a venomous aura but the twins were shocked as well. Just like how he was when he heard his Mom's little speech

"Why" he asked still with his venomous aura, the twins flinched when they heard it "Why did you snitch on me?" he asked again but the twins didn't answer. They remained silent knowing how angry Valt is. "I TRUSTED YOU BOTH BUT.. YOU GUYS JUST TOLD MOM" he shouted this time. "W-we thought... It would be better if we told mom that... After all... She was right..." said Toko, gathering up his courage but it shattered when "I shouldn't have trusted you both...... You both are just like my friends... You both don't trust me back..... I don't even know why I consider you both as my siblings anymore..." said Valt before he walked off to his room

The twins was left shocked as Nika started to cry.

"W-we shouldn't have did that. If we didn't then everyone would have been fine. Mom wouldn't have gotten angry at Valt. And... Valt wouldn't have... Said that.." she whispered as she cried. Toko didn't know what to do but just comfort his twin

Chiharu sat on her bed. Her face showed a disappointed look. But her eyes showed sadness. She didn't wanted to do that to her son but for his future she did it. Even if he started to hate her... She didn't cared.. As long as her son has a good life and bright future. But. If he loves someone who doesn't even consider him as a human being.... Then she will go to extreme just to make sure her son doesn't fall for anyone that tricks him.... People who doesn't love him purely...

But. To Valt... She started to seem like a monster... A monster that is being as his mother and doesn't even understand him....

The house was filled with sad, disappointment and many more that night.

But the real question is... Will Valt trust his family anymore?...

Well the answer is no. He doesn't anymore. And thats why. He packed his bag and ran out of his house, hurriedly.

He didn't know where he was going but just run. Run to nowhere. Just run.
