(14) THE REAL POSSESSOR

Each person doesn't mean to be same which his or her physical moves show up. That's why choosing a person for lifetime isn't an easy task at all. Even a small mistake or misconception makes the whole life mess if we choose someone for the place he or she doesn't mean for.

On the next day when Parth and Krish was about to leave for college Pratikshit called both of them near him.

"What's up, Papa? Are you going to give us any reward for yesterday?" Krish smiled like a child asking reward for any of his good deed.

"Why do you think so, Krish?" Pratikshit ignored Krish's funny expression.

"Because you are smiling at us," Parth was no less in supporting Krish's expression.

"Don't I smile at you both?" Pratikshit irked.

"Sarcastic smile can't be counted as smile, Papa!" Krish corrected Pratikshit with a playful smile.

"Don't try to take the test of my patience," Pratikshit didn't wish to get hyper. So, he warned with the same playfulness like Krish.

"You have called us, right? So, it was initiated by you," Parth reminded with victorious smirk.

"I have called you both for conveying my message to Subhashikta," finally the cause of calling the duo was revealed.

"What do you want to convey, Papa?" The revelation caught Parth's interest, instantly.

"Let me say that. She was so sad remembering her father yesterday. So, I want both of you to convey that she's like my daughter to me, and I will always be there for her," Pratikshit's gaze softened with affection for Subhashikta.

"Only I will convey this message to her," Krish came forward as if he was going to fulfill an important responsibility.

"Why so, Krish?" Pratikshit wondered.

"Because as per your words she should be like a sister to both of us, but Parth doesn't see her as a sister," the target of Krish's playfulness shifted on Parth.

"It's amazing then. We will make both of them marry. After that Subhashikta will be my daughter, officially," Pratikshit stated merrily.

"Papa, Krish want to say that Subhi is my friend," Parth interrupted the rushing flow of Pratikshit's imagination.

"I am sure that she can't be only a friend," Pratikshit was confident over his words.

"How are you so sure, Papa?" Krish teamed up with Pratikshit for teasing Parth.

"Because I used to call your maa as Pari instead of her full name, Parineya," Pratikshit revealed a secret of his love life.

"You are an experienced one, Papa!" Krish changed his side again when he got a chance to tease Pratikshit instead of Parth.

"We would like to hear your love story someday," naughtiness appeared in Parth's eyes.

"I will narrate it to my grand children," Pratikshit denied at straight.

"You are planning to spoil our children, Papa!" Krish faked a sigh of disbelief.

"I wasn't notorious like you both. My love story is also decent like me," Pride was glowing on Pratikshit's face.

"If meeting me before marriage at odd hours of night sneaking into my room secretly is decency then surely your love story is a decent one," Parineya entered into the conversation with sharp glare towards Pratikshit.

"Krish, you are following papa so perfectly," Parth whispered to Krish.

"Maa and papa, we are leaving," in fear of getting caught Krish dragged Parth away with him.

"Pari, what was the need of revealing my old records?" Pratikshit complained saddening his eyes.

"You can assume yourself as decent. I don't have any issue, but don't call my sons notorious," warning him she went inside kitchen making him follow her, obviously.

After driving a little distance Krish stopped the car as Parth had to go to meet Trisha. Stepping down from car Parth searched for a cab. Brothers used to go the same destination together where Parth was spending some time with Trisha before going to college while Krish was waiting for Parth in car.

That day Trisha had urged Parth to give some more time to her specifying the reason that she had something important to confess to him. So, Parth had decided to bunk one lecture of college.

When Parth reached to meet Trisha she revealed that she wanted to confess her feelings for him. Parth was in dilemma how to react in that situation. Suddenly his phone rang, and it was Krish from other side.

Krish informed that Subhashikta fainted in college, and he was taking her to hospital. Listening the news Parth hurried up to leave.

"Where are you going, Parth?" Trisha came forward with a not so pleasant look.

"There's an urgency. Subhi has fainted, and Krish is taking her to hospital," Parth replied.

"Don't worry, Parth. She must be fainted due to dehydration or low blood pressure. It's so common nowadays. Moreover Krish is there with her," assumptions can't help someone who's anxious. Trisha's assumptions even didn't work on Parth's anxiety.

"How can you be so sure about the reason of her sickness? It can be something else," he was trying to keep himself composed with passing of each moment.

"Krish is taking her hospital, right? She will be fine. You shouldn't be worried like this," her assurance failed unlike her assumptions.

"Sorry, Trisha, but I can't stay here more," he walked away a little distance speedily.

"Parth, you can't go like this ignoring the most important confession of my heart. Who's that girl to you?" Her question was  the last and the worst hit at his patience.

"Subhi is my friend, but from now on you are no one to me. How can you be this much selfish? You can't be the girl whom I have been loving since years. Even I am sure that you aren't that girl. The girl whom I love is a selfless and sensitive one, not a self centered one like you," he vented out his anger through a furious declaration.

"You are right. I am not the girl whom you love," she pulled out the curtain of secrecy.

"Why were you playing with my feelings then?" he was controlling himself from being more furious.

"You never had any feelings towards me, Parth. You were bounded with me by the fact that I had that pendant. I was just confirming your love for the girl whom you love, because I had faced the worst in love. I didn't wish Subhashikta to face the same," the reminiscence of past drew some lines of pain on Trisha's face.

"I had full trust on you as a friend, but the boy whom I had loved was also looking decent and trust worthy till the time I discovered his reality. I am happy to say that you love Subhashikta from heart. You didn't love me blindly just because I had the pendant you had gifted to Subhashikta," moisture of happiness was glistening in her eyes.

"Does the pendant belong to Subhi?" Parth was too shocked to utter anything else.

"Yes, this pendant belongs to her. She's the real possessor of this pendant. I got this pendant on the day when I had come to your college to rescue you and Subhashikta from Dinansh. The pendant had fallen down from her neck when Dinansh was trying to force himself on her," Trisha handed the pendant to Parth.

"Go to her, Parth. She needs you, and don't forget to give this pendant back to her. She was sad in these days for loosing her pendant. She will be happy after getting it back," nodding at her in tears he rushed away from there to be near his love who was so close to him, but he didn't care to recognize her.

The truth of pendant came out hiding many tough moments behind itself all securely.
