(16) FORGOTTEN

Not only medicines but also the miseries of life also have side affects on us. Miseries makes as think different, act different and be different at a particular time, and we move towards change gradually.

Subhashikta's behaviour had overpowered the bliss which Parth would have cherished after finding her real identity. Next day Parth and Krish left their home earlier to reach Subhashikta's home.

As she couldn't come college for few days Parth made a convenient excuse of helping her in making notes to spend time with her. Even she had come his home earlier for that purpose, but helping Suchi became her priority on that day.

"Buddy, you are thinking too much," Krish spared a glance at Parth while driving carefully.

"I hope your words come true," Parth had no change in his mood after being ignored by Subhashikta.

"Tiny mini was so much overwhelmed after getting her pendant. That was why she didn't mention anything about both of yours first meet," Krish's words were exactly same with what Parth's mind had reasoned.

"I just can't accept it so easily, Krish. I wanna confirm whether Subhi remembered the boy who had gifted her pendant or not," desperation was getting increased in Parth's heart.

"Here, we reached!" halting the car Krish called Radhika, and informed about their arrival.

After a short Radhika came towards the duo cautiously, confirming no one was watching her.

"Parth, you have to enter into room secretly," Radhika revealed the cause of making the wait outside of her house.

"What a tragedy! My brother has to enter into your house secretly, that too for a neat and clean purpose!" Krish was enjoying Radhika's seriousness.

"Stop joking, Krish. Smriti aunty doesn't like us to befriend with any boy. She opposes all these strongly," Radhika threw a stern glare at Krish.

Smriti had been living with Radhika and her family since her father's death, and Smriti had a strict control over sisters' friend circle. That was the reason both Radhika and Subhashikta couldn't make any close friends ever.

"Looks like aunty's thoughts are in love with outdated era," ignoring Radhika's glare Krish chuckled at his own words.

"Krish, I think you are getting late for college. Parth needs to be here, not you. So, have a safe journey," Radhika reminded the fact indicating Krish to leave.

"How can you be this much unfair to me? You are wishing me formally! Unbelievable!" Krish wasn't ready to take leave without something he deserved.

"Have a safe journey, Krish!" Radhika smiled responding to Krish's complain.

"If not kiss then at least make a gesture like kiss," flirting with her openly Krish irked Radhika. It was something she never liked.

"Let's go, Parth!" her nostrils gestured slight dramatic anger.

"Ok, I am fine with smile, but smile for me once more," making puppy eyes he blocked her way.

"You are just one piece of your kind, Krish. Drive carefully, and reach college safely. We too have to leave now," flashing a lovely smile at him she chuckled at his antics.

Krish left for college, and Parth left with Radhika to start his secret mission. Advising Parth and Subhashikta to remain alert Radhika left for her office.

While instructing Subhashikta during note making Parth was glancing at her which wasn't noticed by her as she was busy in writing notes.

Her pace of writing was quite favourable for Parth's all time gazing at her, but he had to shift his gaze from her when she asked something to him, occasionally.

"Your pace of writing is a little slower, Subhi!" Parth was thanking her pace in mind which allowed him to spend more time with her.

"Right, it's because I love to enjoy writing diary in a slower pace. That habit affects my normal writing nature," she was in her fullest zeal to complete notes. So, she didn't lift her eyes up to look at him.

"Her diary can help me to get the answers of my question," he was hesitating her to ask directly whether she remembered their first meet in the science exhibition before twelve years ago or not.

"Parth, it's almost done. Before starting a fresh phrase of notes making let's take a break," being focused on his thought he couldn't hear her.

"Parth, would you like to have something?" she neared her face to him a little to make her voice audible to him.

"Anything you would love to have," he smiled quickly to make up his previous action.

"Ok, I am going to make tea for both of us," she left from there which was necessary for his next action.

He picked up her diary which was kept on shelf. He didn't have to do any effort for finding her current diary among of all the other diaries kept on shelf, of course due to the current year marked on diary.

He turned pages, and got the page where she mentioned about her missing pendant. He clicked pic of that page in his phone, and placed the diary like before.

After having some more pleasant time with her Parth departed from there when Krish came to pick him up.

After reaching home when Parth read that page of Subhashikta's diary on her phone his face became dull. On that page she mentioned that she was sad due to her missing pendant which had been her years long companion. Even though she didn't remember anything about that clearly yet she felt a strong connection with that.

"Don't lose hope, Buddy. There must be a story behind this," Krish gripped Parth's shoulder tightly to console him.

"How this can be possible even? She has been keeping the pendant dearer to her, but doesn't remember anything about that!" A drop of tear leaked from Parth's hazel eyes.

"As I told there must be a story behind this. Don't forget that she was in trauma after her father's death. Tomorrow we will talk about this with Radhika," wiping Parth's tear Krish hugged him patting his back gently.

Parth was numb at the point. More than the sadness of being forgotten he was in guilt for not considering her feelings in her worse days.

Even in melancholy he promised her in mind not to repeat his mistake again.

So readers, here's the next part.

Now questions.

(1) Any fact did you like here?

(2) Any gesture to be commented?

(3) Any guess or expectation for next?

Imagine the song being played on the background when Parth and Subhashikta were spending time together.
