Chapter 015: Heart Fillers
P.O.V: Kozume Kenma

"Shiroi, How long do you plan on watching me sleep?" I questioned peering up at him who sat criss crossed in front of me on the bed staring directly at me.

"Until you woke up; I was worried." He replied with a small smile on his face crawling over to sit beside me, he ran a hand through my hair briefly brushing the bangs out of my face before taking his hand back placing it in his lap.

"You know that Kuroo was just exaggerating last night to get you to go out with me right?" I said moving slightly closer to him wrapping my arms around the boy's waist nuzzling slightly against him which caused a faint blush to appear on to his face. "You really don't have to go out with me if you don't want to, but I would really like it if you did." I said as a smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

"I know! I was going to go with you either way." Shiroi replied wrapping his arms around my head. "And um Kozume...um thank you for not giving up on me." He mumbled slightly but I caught it.

"I'm guessing you heard us talking last night? I thought you were asleep." I said looking up at him.

"I was at first then I woke up a little bit through the night and heard you guys talking. I went back to bed so I wouldn't get caught." Shiroi explained.

"Well don't worry your pretty little head over anything; neither Kuroo nor I plan to let you go any time soon. We love you very much," I assured him planting a small kiss against his arm causing his smile to widen. "Let's get ready to go out and turn this into a date for some even more fun." I said grinning widely at him, a faint blush creeping his way on to his face which was rather adorable to see. "So you better show me a good time, Kay?" I said to which he nodded his head shyly.

The two of us quickly made the bed before we stepped into the bathroom for a quick bath; after our bath we put on some close, had a quick meal and we were out the door the minute we finished our breakfast making our way to nearest clinic for a my checkup. Shiroi held my hand all the way to the clinic guiding me through the busy streets, he would occasionally turn to me to make sure that was okay before we continued on our way. Once we were at the clinic Shiroi insisted that I take a seat and he'd get me signed in at the front desk but to avoid any problems I went instead and told him to take a seat instead. As we waited for the doctor to call us in Shiroi and I sat in the waiting room talking and playing a friendly game on my phone, I was honestly glad that he was doing alright and not worrying about the people around him. When he first came to live with us it was honestly really difficult to get him to go out to see a doctor because he had been afraid of people since he had gone through a lot when he was living out on the streets, it took sometime but Kuroo and I slowly helped him get over his fear of people and helped him start to trust people again. After a little while the doctor came to get us and we were now all sitting in his office where he had a few test to run on me; Shiroi would interrupt the doctor every time he would do anything on me to question him before he allowed him to do anything which honestly was really cute to see how much he cared for me.

"Well Mister Kozume I don't see anything wrong with you in any of test and scans we've ran; but I will prescribe you some medication for your migraine and lack of appetite." The doctor said while he wrote my prescription down in his computer printing it out before handing it to me.

"Are you sure there's nothing wrong with him doc? He took a really nasty spill at school one time and we're really worried about him, we rely on him a lot and if there's something that you aren't tell us then I suggest you tell me immediately."

"Shiroi!" I called to him placing a hand on top of the one that was resting on my knee, Shiroi turned towards me with a slight pout making me let out a sigh.

"It's quite alright! I understand his concern; but I assure you that everything is fine. I prescribed him some medication that should help towards his quick recover." The doctor said smiling warmly at Shiroi.

"We want a second opinion—."

"Shiroi!" I called out to him once more this time slightly more forceful.

"How can we be sure Kozume?! He seems awfully young to be a doctor, and he seems awfully perverted if you ask me! I mean the way he performed those examinations on you was way to handsy." Shiroi said crossing his arms over his chest throwing his gaze in the opposite direction from me and the doctor.

"Sh-Shiroi!" I said stuttering slightly as I caught myself turning slightly red in the small mirror placed on the desk.

"What a funny little man you have here." The doctor said a small chuckle escaping from him as he rest his chin in the palm of his hand that was prompt up by his elbow. "Shiroi please have faith in me, I may look younger than the other doctors here but I have a lot of years of experience under my belt so I promise you that your daddy here is in good hands, and I promise you I wasn't hitting on your dad at all."

"You saying he's ugly or something?! Kozume is super cute!" Shiroi shouted at the top of his lung.

"That's enough you!" I said smacking him on top of the head. "I'm really, really sorry doctor." I apologized bowing my head slightly at the doctor.

"Oh please don't worry about it; tell you what Shiroi if it makes you feel any better I'll schedule a weekly visit to the clinic for Kozume and I'll do everything in my power to keep him looking 'cute' and healthy." The doctor said typing away on his computer which put a smile on Shiroi's face.

"Sweet! Thanks doc will be going now." Shiroi said standing up from his chair holding out his hand for me.

We thanked the doctor and the nurses one last time before we stopped by the pharmacy to pick up my medication from them.

"Where should we go next?" Shiroi asked as he walked in front of me with his arms folded behind his head. "Arcade? Internet café? A movie maybe?" He said listing the endless possibilities of fun activities we could do.

"First things first; we have to make a quick stop at the strip mall for some new clothes for you. You only have a set number of outfits and underwear, and once you start school—."

"School?!" He questioned, turning around to facing me stopping the both of us in our track.

"Yes, school, when you start going to school again you're going to need more underwear and clothes. Besides a lot of the once you have all have rips and tear in them."

"Th-there not just any old tear and rip, there designed that way by me because I like the look of ripped jeans, t-shirts with rips in them. That way I can expose my hot rocking bod more I mean have you seen any other 14 year old with ABS like mine? I didn't think so." Shiroi said placing his hands on his hips standing tall and proud of himself.

"Tell you what; our parents sent us a little bit of extra money for you to buy anything you might need while your living with us so will use that to buy you some clothes and I'll put a little extra on top of that to buy you some ripped clothing." I said leaning forward slightly to pat his head.

"Really?!"

"Of course! We have plenty of time before Kuroo finishes for the day so let's get shopping, you don't mind if I vlog this for my YouTube channel right? I mean I did say this was a date after all."

"No way! I totally don't mind at all! We can even title the video; Super fun date with my super hot boyfriend." Shiroi expressed excitedly.

"They'll probably think I am talking about Kuroo." I said chuckling slightly which caused him to puff out his cheek in a pout.

"We should add like a click bait thumbnail; a picture of me and Kuroo shirtless that get us some real views."

Although it wasn't the best of Camera's I used my phone to vlog our day out today; we went shopping at the strip mall like we had planned, we ate some Takoyaki, took pictures with the local stray dogs who loved Shiroi, cooled off at the Arcade, had a drink at Hinata's part-time job, went to see Hoshino who was apparently in the city for a shoot before we made our way to campus to wait for Kuroo to finish. As we waited for Kuroo to finish Shiroi went ahead and joined in on a game of basketball that was going on right here on campus; he was having a lot of fun playing with the guys from the basketball team and it was honestly cute to see him so happy and not so grumpy. Occasionally Shiroi would call to me as he passes by showing off some cool tricks for the camera before going back to the game.

"Hey!" Kuroo called out to us as he jogged his way towards us with Yaku right on his heels. "You two looked like you had a good time together." He said grinning widely taking me in his arms and planting a small kiss against my forehead.

"Yeah, it was better than the lame dates you plan." I teased sticking my tongue out slightly from the side.

"You love our dates; especially when they end in our bed." Kuroo said clinging to me with a big grin on his face.

"Yaku! Pick me up!" Shiroi said charging towards Yaku leaping into his arms clinging to him tightly.

"Careful there little guy!" Yaku advises carrying him briefly around before letting him down.

"Was everything okay with him?" Kuroo asked.

"Yeah he did pretty well; today when I was hanging out with him and I saw how happy he looked gave me even more hope that he's going to be alright." I said a soft smile appearing on to my face as I watched Yaku and Shiroi goof off with each other.

"Oh yeah! Kuroo we need to take a picture for the thumbnail." Shiroi expressed excitedly.

"Thumbnail?!" Yaku and Kuroo questioned with a raised brow.

"Yeah, I kind of vlogged our little date and he wants to add a click bait thumbnail where the two of you are flexing shirtless." I said pulling out my phone from the back pocket of my jeans.

"Alright let's do it!" Kuroo said ripping off his shirt exposing his well developed body that he's honed from years of playing Volleyball.

"Time to flex my guns!" Shiroi said ripping his tank top off as well.

The two stood beside each other grinning widely as they flexed their muscles posing for the camera in the middle of campus; we got some odd stares from a few other students but I was able to capture the moment just like he wanted me too. After we parted ways with Yaku we went home where we spent the rest of the afternoon in peaceful bliss enjoying each other's company.
