Hello everyone!

I see quite a lot of you have found us so welcome to our little soap box where we hope to get noticed by wattpad! I say like I don't see em spying on us from here.

I have a couple of announcements for you all so be sure to read on!

1) You all are flooding my email so I'm probably going to shut off email notifications for a bit which means IF YOU NEED ME PM ME!

2) Please remember to KEEP THINGS POSITIVE! I know you are all upset and angry, but if we can stay calm and respectfully state our case they might listen to us. If we go around bashing Wattpad and the ambassadors they're just going to ignore us.

3) I am not denying that the forums do need some changes. We just aren't discussing that yet because people need to calm down first. I will be creating a page soon where we can offer solutions and discuss.

4) We obviously miss our forums. I may not have time to reply to each and every one of you, but please know that I'm reading every word. I am attempting to build a tiny version of what we had here, so read on for my ideas.

- Story Sharing: people are hurting from the lack of ability to share their stories. I have a story set to come out this Saturday. Trust me, I understand. I could just say post your links and have at it, but that's a method we already know fails.

What I suggest is we do some random drawing each week and one story per genre will be featured. You could only enter one story and once you get chosen to be featured you could not enter anymore.

Other users are attempting to put things together for story sharing so I will be partnering with them! (PM me if you want to partner!)

Improve Your Writing: This one is hard as I know a lot of users want help with titles and personal things. What I'm thinking is creating a page for users to ask these personal questions and then for the bigger questions (how should we approach writing multicultural characters, suggested word counts by genre, lgbt characters, pov, etc.) that can be used as a resource for all, those can be PM d to me and we will make a page for each one to be discussed.

The Cafe/Pub: this might have to go off Wattpad. I know we don't all have that option so there will always be a page here where you can converse with users, but I know as of right now we have the HP chat on discord as well as a forum in beta testing also on discord. {I don't know how discord works so can someone explain (as links don't really work) is there something they can search? Or should they type in the URL?} So as those are created PM them so we can get everyone places to talk! Character and Story Games can also come into play here!

MDC: This one kept me awake last night. Wattpad never lets me tag users in books which is a big problem. The best solution I can think of is to have a page where graphic artists can promote their shop. They would PM me this form

And users could go visit their shops when I post it on the advert page.

R4R, editing, critiques, and beta reading: For this I'm thinking we could do something similar to the MDC solution where users state what services they offer and users can contact them through tagging or PMs.

So what do you guys think? I'm looking for feedback here! How can we make this work as a temporary solution?
