Melisande Dubois
was inquisitive in many art forms and techniques. Even her name was lyrical no matter how someone pronounced it. She loved that about herself -- the hidden beauty in grace disguised in a kick-ass teenager. But there was an issue with her name: no one was around to say it. No one knew Melisande.

No one knew her because she was a hacker. A hacker with an increibly prestigious abolity that no one else possessed. That's how SHEILD found her. They found her when she hacked into their database and left a trail on purpose. She wanted them to find her because she wanted to know what happened to her parents in 2012.

She possessed such a wonderful ability that she managed to hack herself off the grid and away from existence in 2013. She was only eleven when she disappeared and no one ever heard from her again. That is until SHIELD needed her for the location of Loki's scepter. They gave her an ultimatum: assist them in their conquest and join the race against time, or spend years in juvenile detention with the risk of being tried as an adult for hacking into a federal organization and collecting research that wasn't hers.

So she became an Avenger in the new initiative and stayed away from prison. 

But then the deal was over. Melisande wasn't needed any longer so SHIELD provided her with a secure apartment and let her disappear again. She did what she wanted and rejoiced in her freedom once again. She had the chance to help the Avengers when she was eleven and she did. But she never received answers about her parents' deaths. All she got was her lonely life back. And that meant no more hearing her name being whispered or thrown into the air. It was gone.

Until four years later, someone knocks on her door and changes her life again.
