I love old movies. To watch them now and see where so many of the old cliches first came from.

One of my fav scenes in so many old movies, from romance to mystery to cop movies, is the scene with the guy or gal standing under a streetlight, looking up at the silhouette in the apartment window.

How could I refuse writing about it.

I light a cigarette

I see a silhouette

I step

from the shadows

you raise

your hand

a wave?

it begins to rain
