Jimin jerked up suddenly, gasping. Sweat was rolling down his forehead. He looked around the dark room before leaning over to check his phone. 4:56 am.
Jimin brung his blankets over his head and groaned. He knew it was no where close to the time he was supposed to be getting up at, but he knew he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. He sat up, rubbing his hands over his eyes. He took a deep breath, standing up and walked out of his room. Jimin blindly made his way to the kitchen, flipping the switch on once his fingers touched the light switch.
"What the heck?" A voice asked. Jimin jumped, throwing his phone towards the voice. "Ow! The fuck?" Jimin realized it was Jungkook.
"Oh it's you." Jimin went to the fridge and pulled out the milk.
"Do I not get an apology? You could've killed me!" The younger whined. Jimin just rolled his eyes, taking a swig from the carton. "Also, you need to stop drinking from the carton, it's nasty."
The older just eyed jungkook, lifted the carton and took another swig all while keeping eye contact with the fuming younger.
Jungkook sighed. "What are you doing up anyways? It's like, 5 am."
"I couldn't go back to sleep." Jimin put the milk back in the fridge. "I'm going to the store, want anything?"
"Can I have some cookies?"
"Sure, what kind?"
"Chocolate chip."
Jimin nodded, grabbing the keys and his jacket by the door. "I'll be back in a bit."
"Wait, do you work today?"
"Nah, someone's taking over."
Jungkook nodded. "Okay. Grab me a monster too."
Jimin gave Jungkook a weird look. "Kay." The older went out the door, swinging the keys in his hand. He whistles as he made his way down the lit sidewalk. When Jimin turned the corner he saw that his works lights were on. He sighed in relief because he really didn't want to walk all the way to town.
He reached the door, the ding coming from the bell. When jimin entered, he didn't expect a certain raven haired boy to be there.
"Hey yoongs. What are you doin' here?"
Yoongi smiled, "Hey jams. And I'm working. What else would I be doin?"
Jimin grabbed what he needed and the things Jungkook asked for. "I don't know, robbing the store?"
The taller gave a small chuckle while jimin placed his items on the counter. "Why would I rob a store I work at? I'm not that dumb. Anyways, what are you doing up so early?"
Jimin shrugged. "Couldn't sleep, I guess."
Yoongi nodded. "I feel. It'll be $7.28."
Jimin handed him a ten. "Keep the change." Yoongi looked into the shorters eyes, a smile playing at his lips. Jimin grabbed his things after yoongi placed them in a bag. "See ya later, yoongi."
"Jimin wait," yoongi began, watching the shorter turn and face him. "Would you like to hang out later, I mean if you're not working?"
Jimin smiled. "Yea, that sounds cool. I'm actually off today and tomorrow so."
Yoongi looked down at his hands, smiling. "That's good," he looked up at jimin. "See you later then, jams."
"Well, how about you shoot me a text or come over at my house once you get off work. I live right around the corner, so." Jimin walked up again, grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, scribbling down some numbers. He slid the paper to yoongi. "It's the only apartment on the street. Shouldn't miss it. Room 114." The shorter gave yoongi a smile before finally leaving the store.
Yoongi was glad he finally left, because he scrunched up the paper that had jimins number on it and squealed. He did a little happy dance, throwing away all his anxiety.
"Yes!" Yoongi yelled, throwing his hands up in the air. "Yes Yes yes yes!" He was practically jumping now, not paying attention to the bell to the door.
Jimin watched as the raven haired boy behind the counter do a little happy dance. He smiled, quietly replacing the pen back on the counter before leaving.
Cute.
