The whole house was decorated with flowers and a wave of freshness weaved into air.Shivani was busy along with Lata and other ladies.The men of house were no less making sure if all arrangements were ready for evening.It was special day for everyone indeed.The house felt lively again with arrival of Lata,Reyansh,nandini and their little one for the special occassion.

Little Pranush was running around in his cute blue kurta set dress.He was in joyous mood getting to play with his little cousin brother Arav.Who was rather silent baby than the naughty brat Pranush.

The small bindi that added a shine to her natural beauty.And she was done looking at herself in mirror.Her eyes reflecting only happiness and face glowing with all love.Varna looked ethereal in a green saree with red border.Barely any makeup touching her face.Her cheeks flushing red with Nandini teasing her from time she came to help her get ready.

N-"You are looking something beyond beautiful today Varna.Someone is definitely going to have hard time keeping his eyes away from you."

She felt her cheeks getting red and glared at Nandini.As she stood on her feet with her help.Fixing her saree.She wanted to keep her hair open but for change Nandini did braid hairstyle for her.

Var-"Thanks Nanu.For this.I dont know what I would have done without you.I was anxious with todays function.You made it easier for me."

N-"Even after all this time you need to thank me Varna?Im glad I could be here for you.I wanted to come earlier but Reyanshs work.Anyways now that Im here with you.Relax and just look at yourself.How gorgeous."

She put black dot behind Varna's ear which made her blush.

N-"By the way this saree looks so pretty.You are glowing more in this."

And the credits should go to whom.

They turned to see Vivaan standing near door.Looking handsome in white kurta set.Hair gelled up and a smirk on his face.Soon he was dazzled by the beauty in front of her.Seeing his wife he just walked slowly without moving his eyes from her.Varna could feel his gaze and looked down.Till Nandini had to cough and break the moment.

V-"You are looking.Beautiful."

Var-"Vivaan."

She felt the heat on her cheeks.Not able to meet his gaze.Nandini looked at the couple and remembered their journey.She wished nothing but happiness for them and how it feels now.Seeing them like this in this phase of their life.

N-"Ahem.Well Anna our Varna is more beautiful than Saree.This you have to agree."

She came behind Varna playing with her words.Vivaan was still giving a lover boy look to his wife.

V-"anyday.My wife is most gorgeous."

Varna felt overwhelmed not with praises.But the feeling of being seen from his eyes.Wearing what he got for her for this special day.Nandini left soon giving the couple much needed privacy.Vivaan closed door and came to his wife.Who looked confused now between the choices of jewelry scattered there.Though she preferred to wear nothing except her wedding chain.It was strict order by Shivani to doll herself today properly.Else she knew she was in for class.

V-"Hmm.Someone looks confused.Like always."

Var-"What were you doing.While ago.Nandu was here."

She took a necklace seeing if it was matching her saree.When he came from behind.Both seeing their reflection in mirror.

V-"What.Now I cant even praise my wife's beauty.See Im such good husband."

Var-"You dont need to be.I know it all."

She smiled and shook her head keeping the neckpiece down.It was too heavy.Lately she have been sweating alot.Seeing all heavy sets she made cute pout and took deep breathe.

Var-"I dont think.I can wear these."

V-"Why fear when your husband is here."

She raised her brows at him as he made her sit and went to get something.She checked herself again in mirror and found him back.He rested his chin on her shoulder.Kissing her cheek at which she flinched.

Var-"Vivaaan.I have to get ready."

She shut her eyes with faint smile on her lips.When she opened them she found him placing a light weight thin neck piece on her neck.As delicately as he could.Feeling his cold fingers on her bare back she just stared at him.Feeling her heartbeats.He came closer to her ears and whispered.

V-"Liked this?"

She smiled and gave nod.At which he kissed her forehead.He made her pair of bangles in both hands and then helped her with small light weight earrings too.He knows well how to make her comfortable.Seeing her looking at him with tears brimming in her eyes.He raised his brows and she shook her head.

He cupped her cheeks and could get what she must be feeling.It was the day they were never anticipating in their life maybe.For her this was special and for him too.He touched her stomach and could feel light kicks of their little one.She chuckled seeing him doing that.Something he loves doing from time baby started kicking.A different connection he already formed with their baby.

V-"Hey.You okay?You can rest if you want.I will tell Mom."

She held him back as he clasped her hand tightly.She couldnt make anyone understand the emotions she has been feeling.From morning a certain rush inside her.Nervousness and excitement.Of seeing this day.It was her baby shower ceremony today.All will bless little one and her today.Did she ever thought this day will come.

Var-"Just.Stay back.With me."

V-"Im always here.For you sweetheart.Just in case you dont push me back."

Var-"You will never stop saying this right."

V-"Well you never know.Anything is possible with Varna Shetty."

He would never stop teasing her.Because he loves seeing her getting angry at him in cutest way.Just then he took his phone and wrapped his arms around her.Capturing the perfect moment in a perfect selfie.

Finally it was time to go.In front of everyone.Relatives from both side families.Her families.Prakash and Karuna came down too a day earlier.Vivaan gave her his hand which she held onto and he didnt say word.Just showed her through his eyes.He was there for her with her.
