Recap: Meenakshi asking Ram to marry her - He is happy.

Abhiram couldn't sleep that night. He was recollecting Meenakshi's words time to time and a smile permanently fixed on his face. He didn't think that things will turn out to be so easy for him especially when comes to Meenakshi's approval on marriage.

Realizing that he can't sleep anymore, he got up from bed and moved towards the balcony of the apartment. He saw the sky filled with stars and at the center moon is shining giving all its light to him. He grinned like an idiot looking at moon. He closed his eyes when the cold breeze started tickling him. He smiled imagining Meenakshi's face reflecting at the sky.

Am I mad?
He laughed at the thought.

Meenakshi, you made my life. You know what. Today is the best day in my life. Nobody have surprised me like you did today. I am waiting to spend my whole life with you. Our life would be crazy just like you.

He sat on the floor fixing his eyes at the shining moon.

Meenu, you are the shine of my life. You brightened my dark life. Definitely I will be a perfect husband for you. Not perfect. But perfect for all your craziness. We will make the whole world crazy together.

He laughed. For a moment he thought that he too became crazy like her.

What about calling Daksh and inform this? He will dance madly.

Then he started rethinking.

Let him sleep this night. Because tomorrow onwards I am not going to allow him to sleep. I will make him mad together with my Meenu.

The whole night passed with his dreams about his life with her. Hours passed and he had no idea when did he actually drift off to sleep. When he opened his eyes at morning, he was laying down on the cold floor at the balcony.

A smile appeared on his face thinking about yesterday's eventful day and he slowly got up moving towards his room. He fell down on the bed to catch the remaining sleep or should we say to see the remaining dreams.

Abhiram's PoV
After a long struggle I finally got up from bed. I was not intersted to come back from my dreamy world. But I need to see her.

I went to washroom and did my morning activities. When I came back I saw a hot cup of coffee on the table.

Why didn't she directly give the coffee on my hands? Did she become shy with a single night? I can't believe this.

Meenakshi, If you can't face me only because we are going to marry then I am surely going to tease you as much as I want.

I decided and had the coffee smilingly. I came outside searching for her.

Hope I won't end up blushing and shy when I meet her finally.

I saw Dadu reading newspaper sitting on sofa.
"Dadu, where is Meenu? I didn't see her in the kitchen."I asked after a long search in the entire house.

"She is at the garden."he said and I moved outside the house to check her.

While walking towards the garden I saw her watering the plants with so much love and care. She loves all this plants like her kids. I love that side of her mostly.

I stood beside her with a starting trouble. I didn't know how to start.
I coughed little to gain attention. But she neither turned back nor looked at me.

"Meenu" I called finally.
She didnt reply and that made me confused.
"Meenakshi..."this time I called more loudly.

That's it. She turned back and started pumping the water on my body.
"Meenu, what's this? Stop this please."I said trying to move away from her.

She finally stopped and started laughing at me seeing my wet body and dress.

It's my mistake to think that she might be shy to face me. Meenakshi is always Meenakshi.

"Ram, good morning"she said smirking after making my morning wet.
I glared at her.

"What??? I offered you a free bath and now you are angry at me. I was thinking about how to start my day and suddenly I got you."she said pouting.

I didn't feel strange since it's been many months I started staying with her. I sighed looking at my dress.

"Ram you are looking nice now. Wait.I want a selfie with a wet Ram."she said making me widen my eyes.

Before I stops her she rushed to inside and came back with her phone.
She wrapped her one hand around my shoulder and took the selfie with the other. If she wants something, she will stop only after getting it. I shook my head.

"You are handsome"she said and I blushed little.
"Whoever it is, the girl who is going to marry you is really lucky." She stated and I lost all colors of my face.

"What did you say?"I asked confusingly.
"I was talking about the next Rohini in your life. Did you already find someone? If so don't hesitate to share with me."she said excitedly.

"Why are you saying all this? Did you forget what we talked yesterday?"I asked shockingly.

She gave an expression of thinking.
"What did I say yesterday Ram? I forgot it."she gave an innocent expression and this time I didn't feel it as much innocent.

"Meenu, stop playing. I know you are crazy. But this is the matter of our life. We should be serious."I said with a heavily beating heart.

"Ram, why are you talking like this? What happened suddenly? I didn't remember anything crazy I did to you yesterday."she said.

"Meenakshi, don't you remember when you asked me to marry you? Were you drunken yesterday?"I asked getting irritated with her behavior.
She stared at me for a minute and then bursted into laughter.

"Hahaaaaa..did you believe that Ram?" She asked still laughing making me lose all my control.

"Then what was that? Were you playing with me?"I asked angrily tightly holding her wrist.

She screamed and I left her hand when realization hit me.
She looked at me pouting.
"You hurted me Ram. The person whom I thought will never hurt me hurted me today. I am offended"she said giving me an angry expression.

"Stop it...."I shouted at the top of my voice and she looked at me shockingly.
"What did you think about yourself? You can hurt anyone and can play pranks on their life for your happiness. And noone should hurt you?" I yelled.

"Ram, you don't have to talk so loudly. Dadu and Malu will hear."she warned me.

"You only cares for them Meenakshi. Not even seeing me as a friend too. All others in this world except your Dadu and Malu are objects for you to play. You will do whatever you wants. They won't get hurt that's what you are thinking."I said turning my face away from her.

"What happened now that makes you speak like this? How many times did I say that you are my best friend? What happened suddenly that makes you think that I am not caring for you?"she asked seriously.

"Dont you know? Why did you ask me to marry you? Didn't you tell me that we have to plan so many crazy dates together after our marriage?"I asked with the last ray of hope.

She laughed again.
"Even after spending so many months with me, didn't you understand Meenakshi till now? I was just joking Ram. Do you really think that I will easily fall for a man? Then it's your mistake. You interpreted me wrongly. So sorry for that."she said so calmly breaking my heart into a million pieces.

Is this what I dreamt till now?

I looked at her with blood shot eyes.
She was confused seeing my change.
"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Lets speak about it. I was just..."before she completes I pushed her back.

"I hate you Meenakshi. I hate you."I said from the bottom of my broken heart.

She was shocked.
"The whole world is right. Meenakshi is crazy. She dont know to respect feelings of others. She only knows to satisfy her craziness. She is not a human. She is just a mad creation of God."I stopped seeing tears over brimming her eyes.

"I am so sorry for thinking that atleast you won't consider me as an object for your craziness. That was the last thing I expected from you. But you proved me wrong. Thank you.. thank you for making me learn a lesson that I am just an unwanted one in everyone's life."I said pouring my heart out.

She didnt speak a single word. But looked at me with teary eyes and shocked face.

Tears were not leaving my eyes too.

When she couldn't meet the rage in my eyes for a long time, she lowered her head. Meenakshi is guilty. I couldn't believe that. I let out a sarcastic smile before storming inside.

I opened my room and locked it from inside. My whole body was wet. But my heart was crying matching my wet body. I entered into the washroom and opened the shower. I stood under the shower with a cold heart and body.

Today once again I am broken. I felt myself useless and unwanted. No one have true feelings for me. Anyone can play with me so easily.

Why do its always me? Can't I have a better life? Or noone wants me???

Meenakshi sat down on the steps with a blank mind. What did just happen? She didnt have any idea. One thing she was sure. She cant let her Ram go like this. She didnt even think about hurting him in her dreams too. But then also it happened.

The whole words Ram poured out on her in anger didn't touch her. But in-between all this she saw it. His eyes filled with tears. She couldn't handle that. More than anger it was sorrow & helplessness that covered his face. That broke her. She didnt want to see him in that condition. But the realization that she is the reason for his broken heart shattered her. She covered her face with her both hands and slowly tears started falling down.

Meenakshi is not Meenakshi now!!!

Abhiram came out of the shower after a long one hour. He sneezed. But he is not in a state to be affected by his body's pain more than heart's.
He quickly wore his shirt and pants. He came out of the washroom lifelessly.

His phone beeped and he quickly opened the message.
"Good Morning Abhi."
It was Daksh's message and it brought a smile on his face.

"If you are not there, I would have believed that no one on earth loves me. Why do you loves and cares for me man? That too me whom no one wants." He said to himself.

He was so lost in his thoughts when suddenly someone started knocking on door.

"Ram, open the door please. I am sorry..let me tell."It was Meenakshi and her voice made him clench his fist.

"I don't want to see your face. Meenakshi pls leave me for sometime. For god's sake. You have done enough to me."he shouted in a low voice.

"I can explain."she said.
He opened the door and glared at her.
She froze seeing his red shot eyes and angry face.

"What are you gonna explain? I know. You will say that this is Meenakshi's way and it was my fault to expect that you were serious. Isn't it? I know it's all my fault. Now please get lost." He said slamming the door on her face.

She stood there dumbfounded. She started again knocking on the door after a few minutes.

"Ram, I know you are seriously angry at me. I am sure that you hates me too. You can scold me and curse me with words as much as you want. If it will give you relief then please pray for my death too. I have no complaints. But ..."she stopped and he heard her sobbing.

He waited for her to complete her words leaning back on the door.
"But don't cry Ram. Please dont cry. I can't handle only that."she said pressing her face to the door.

So how is the update? I know you must be angry at me. But Meenakshi is not a normal girl. It will take time for her to understand herself. Same way Ram also need time to realize the real Meenakshi.
