I am writing this story only to entertain my readers. Please dont question my characters' morals and logics by reading something that is just written for fun.

Recap: Abhiram's mom supporting him to proceed his love - Friends meeting at the restaurant.

Abhiram's PoV: At Night
I can't express how much happy currently I am. On one side my parents are now the world's best parents as always I wished for. On the other side Meenakshi, she is such a wonderful part of my life. A best friend, a motivator, inspiration, relief and everything that anyone can ask from a single person. And Daksh, Dadu and Malu. My complete family includes all these together. Once I was the most depressed man on earth. But now I am the most happiest one.

It was such an hectic day where I had to attend many meetings outside the office. I wanted to visit office once only to see Meenakshi for a while. But I couldn't since I became free only after the office hours. I had no energy to travel such a long distance to go and meet her at her home. But as usual I talked with her in phone and also with Dadu and Malu. She asked me to not travel any more since I am tired and said that we can meet tomorrow. A day without seeing her, it's such a miserable day.

My phone rang and a smile crept across my face seeing the caller ID.
"Meenu, didn't you sleep till now?"I asked immediately attending the call.

"How can I call you if I am sleeping?"she asked back.

"It's almost 12 am and why are you staying awake? Usually you would be sleeping soundly this time."I asked amazingly.

"Did you miss me today?"she asked making me confuse.
"That was not what I asked you?"I pointed out.
"Do you want to see me?"she asked again which is not related to what I asked. I sighed.
"Oh yes madam. I want to see you now. Can you please come here to accomplish my wish? Hey idiot. Stop this. Tell something that is relevant."I asked to tease her.

"There is not a word impossible in Meenakshi's dictionary. Open that large window right back at your room."she said and I almost dropped the phone from my hands.

I rushed to the back side of my room and opened the large window with great difficulty since it's rarely we used to open it. That too once or twice for cleaning purpose.

My jaw dropped and eyes widened seeing her standing on the top of a ladder leaning towards the window. She have her phone on her ears and she is trying hard to balance herself on the ladder. I held my head in disbelief.

"Hai Ram. Surprise for you. See I am here."she gave me a full teeth smile. My mouth automatically opened widely.

"Meenu...you ..here...how..."I was still in shock unable to form words.

"I can't stand like this for a long time. Help me to get inside first. This is not the way Khannas should suppose to treat a surprise guest."she complained bringing me back to the scene where we are currently. She is still on the ladder and I am looking at her with opened mouth and blinking eyes.
Is she for real?

"Here. Hold my hand"
I forwarded my hand towards her.
"No. First of all answer my questions. Then only I will enter. Otherwise I will go back."she demanded.
"Which questions?"I asked looking around to see whether anyone is watching us.
"Did you miss me? Did you really want to see me?"she asked.

This girl will be my death one day.
"Yes I was actually waiting for you to come to my home like this. Exactly like this. At midnight 12 am through this ladder. That too without informing anyone. No one would get such a surprise. A dream comes true."I gritted my teeth.

"Oh really? You are so sweet Ram."she smiled holding my hand.
I pulled her inside and she is now at my room scanning the entire room. Perhaps a dream moment. But if the situations and time was not this.

She started exploring my room from one end to another making me stun.
"Hey why did you come now? Can't you see it's midnight?"I asked when she suddenly jumped on to my bed.

"Such a big room and soft mattress. I feel to sleep now."she said laying down on my bed. I went to her and sat beside her. I held her shoulders and helped her to sit.
"Didn't you hear what I asked?" I asked sternly this time.
"Just for an adventure Ram."she said in her most funny tone.
I sighed catching my head between my hands.

"When will you realize that you are a girl Meenu? Wait, do you remember what did you say to that girls in that restaurant? Dont you know the dangers waiting for a girl outside? That too at this night."I was worried seeing her at this night. Eventhough her visit made me happy I can't express that. Because I am worried about the dangers that her craziness can cause her. I can't let anything happen to her eventhough her each movement can make me happy.

"Ram you know what. Midnight is more safe for a girl than day light now a days. Because men like you will be sleeping at this time and girls can try their adventures without bothering about anything."she said making me angry.

"This is not funny Meenu. How could you come alone? Didn't I say you to call me once if you want to go outside at night?"I asked seriously. It's high time I should warn Dadu about this. I can't take risk with this behavior of her.

"Relax. Your bp will increase if you shout like this. Who said you that I came alone? I came along with my bestie."she said making me shock.

"Bestie? Which bestie you have that I don't know? Where is he?" I started searching while peeping out of the window.

She started laughing.
"I was talking about my scooter."

I glared at her.
"Wait. Didn't the security guard see you? What he is doing at the gate?"I became angry thinking about the irresponsible watch man.

"I jumped the wall and suddenly remembered about my scooter. I wanted some protection for my scooter. So..."she paused.

"So?"

"So I asked the watch man whether he can keep his eyes on my scooter till I come back"she said and I widened my eyes.
"But he fainted down thinking that I am a ghost. May be because of this white salwar I am wearing."she said showing me through the mirror the white dress she is wearing.

"Is he alive now?"I asked raising my eyebrows.
"May be. But fire him as early as he gets conscious. Such an irresponsible one."she said and I smiled.

"You are impossible Meenu."I finally relieved from my tension.

"Your house is so beautiful Ram. I liked it a lot."she said looking around.

"Earlier I didn't like this room much. But now I think I should rethink it."I smirked.

Meenakshi in my room.....feels like my whole world is now infront of me.

"But how did you know that this is exactly my room?"I asked curiously.

"Because I saw lights in this room while all other rooms were dark. I thought to ring the calling bell first.."she stopped seeing me scowl.
"Oh god."I muttered.
"But then I saw the ladder leaning on that wall. So thought to give you a surprise."she completed.

I looked at her with disbelief.
"Meenu you should have little more careful. You are so careless. Your life is not something that you can play with. Its really precious especially for the people around you. I don't want you to repeat this. Understand?"I asked and she nodded like an obedient kid.

"Ram, give me your phone."she asked forwarding her hand.
"For what?"I asked while searching for my phone which I finally got from the bed itself.
"I have an urgent call to do."she said taking the phone from me and dialling a number.

What she is upto? Is she going to let the whole world knows that she is in my room now?

"Ram, come near me."she wrapped her one hand across my neck and pulled me closer to her enough for me to see the phone screen. I was shocked seeing the video call going to Daksh's number.
"Meenu, what are you doing? Let him sleep please."I said trying to stop her. But Meenakshi is more than what I can control.

Before I can do something Daksh attended the call and we saw his sleepy face on bed.
"Hai Daksh uncle."she waved her hand at him.
I felt chuckling seeing his condition. He is too sleepy to open his eyes properly.
"Why are you disturbing me man? Wait. Abhi, why are you looking like a girl?"he asked still in half sleep.

"Because your Abhi changed his gender."she said pulling me closer and that's it. Now he can see me too. I saw him jumping up from bed shockingly and he rubbed his eyes to get a clear vision.

"Hai Daksh."I said smiling.
He gave me an unbelievable look.
"You....with..... Meenakshi....this night..."he questioned me with broken words and I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"Yeah it's Meenakshi. Glad that you finally recognized me."she said.
"Meenu, the background. Show me it clearly."he shouted from the other end and she moved the phone across the walls and interiors.

"Isn't that Abhi's room? What are you doing in his room at this night?"he asked and she smiled at me.
"Ask your friend."with that she handed over the phone to me and got out of bed.

Oops. What would I tell him now?
"Daksh, actually she came to meet me to surprise me. I couldn't do anything except allowing her to get inside."I said scratching the back side of my neck.

"Oh do you really want me to believe this? She and you ....on your bed...oh god!!! Tell me did she do anything with you?"he asked anxiously.
"Arey shut up. Dont behave that you still don't know what Meenakshi is."I said while travelling my eyes across the room to find her. But she was not there.

"Ok I will believe for your sake."he said in a disappointed tone.
"Daksh, my house is in danger."I exclaimed.
"What?"he asked confusingly.
"Because she is now missing in the room. She went out man."I said biting my nails.

"You can eat your nails later. Now go and find her before she wakes up the entire locality. Tie her up on a pillar."he adviced.

I nodded and ended the call getting up from the bed. I slowly went out of my room to find her. For my luck she didn't switch on the lights. My parents catching us together on this night, that's the last thing I wish to happen. I don't want to introduce their daughter in law like this. If so they will immediately give me a rejected certificate.

I moved towards downstairs and saw lights from the kitchen. Glad that mom sent out all servants from here. I entered into the kitchen and saw her searching in the refrigerator. I sighed.

"Meenu what are you doing?"I asked standing behind her back.
"I am hungry. But there is nothing in the fridge. Are you really a billionaire or a beggar? Empty fridge and useless owner."she said shocking me.

"Meenu, are you mad? Didn't you eat anything from your home?"I asked holding her hand.
"Yes I had. But I want to eat again. Now tell me what are you going to make for me? Dont forget that I am coming to your home for the first time and you can't let me stay hungry."she said literally black mailing me.

I searched the fridge and found some eggs and a bottle of mango juice.
"If you can wait for five minutes I will treat you with omelettes and juice."I said and she smiled happily.

I took the eggs and moved towards the stove. She occupied the kitchen slab eventhough I asked her to wait at the dining table. I placed the pan on stove and started making omelettes for her. Meanwhile she served the juice on two glasses. I tried to make less noise as possible because I didn't want my parents to see me cooking for a girl. They didn't see me on kitchen till now. If they see me like this, surely they will faint down.

I placed the omelettes on a plate and forwarded to her.
"Do your house have a terrace?"she asked making me stun.

Within minutes we shifted towards the terrace with the omelettes and juice we made. She started eating and I looked at her amazed.

No matter how much I am tensed, this is the best night of my life. She placed a small piece of omelette on my mouth and chuckled. I didn't know that the food I made can be this much delicious till she fed me it with her hand. We ate from the same plate and sometimes fed each other.

"I still can't believe this Meenu."I said and she pinched me on my arm.
"Now you can believe."she said for which I smiled.

We drunk the juice which we brought to the terrace and she stood up looking at the sky.
"Beautiful sky. Isn't it?"she asked turning her face towards me from the sky.
"Not more than you."I said and regretted immediately.

Oops. Will she think me as a flirt?
But all my doubts faded away seeing her smiling at me. It brightened my heart.

After spending some more time on the terrace we returned back to the kitchen. She helped me to wash the dishes and place it on same places where we taken it from.

"Ram, I forgot to tell you the main purpose why I came here."she said making me alert.
"I am here only to meet your parents."she said sending shivers down my spine.

"Where are they?"she asked starting search for them.
"Meenu, stop."I blocked her.
"They are sleeping. Do you want to disturb them?"I asked.
"But I am here to see them and give them a surprise."she argued.
"No not now. You can meet them on some other day. But not at this night."I said sternly.
"But Ram what's the problem if I meet them now?"she asked.
"No no no no..you are not going to see them now. It's final. I will bring you some other day to meet them."I said.

"Fine. Then I am going. And I won't come again."she turned back to go but I held her wrist pulling her back to me. She collided with my chest and I held her waist to balance her. She looked straight into my eyes and it was enough for me to get lost in her eyes.

"Ram, what would happen if your parents come and see us in this position?"she asked and I left the hold on her shockingly.

I looked everywhere to confirm whether they are watching us. She bursted into laugh.
"Are you really afraid of them?"she asked with big eyes.

Actually I am not. But I didn't want them to see her like this. I wanted them to like her instantly as soon as they see her. And her crazy behavior will make it a tough task for me.

"Ram what are you thinking?"she asked bringing me back to the world.
I held her hand.
"Come let's go."I said but she jerked my hands away.
"I am not coming without saying a good night to your mom and dad."she declared making me shock.

"Will you get me killed today?"I asked with a pale face and she giggled.
"If that's your fate, I can't do anything"she said simply.

"Ok compromise. I will allow you to see them."before I completes she got excited.
"Yayy...."
"Wait only on one condition."I said.
"What condition?"she asked scowling.
"Dont wake them up."I said and finally she agreed.

We went towards their room and stopped at the door.
"Do you remember? Dont make noise and disturb them."I warned.
She nodded.
I slowly turned the door knob and opened it.

Her face brightened seeing mom and dad sleeping peacefully.
"Wow...your mom and dad are so cute together. You are a look alike of your father. But this nose..I am sure it belongs to your mom."she said touching my nose. I tried hard to control my laugh.

"Can we go now?"I asked and she nodded.
We came back to the hall and she looked at me strangely.
"I am going. Let's see tomorrow. Good night Ram."she said.

I didn't want her to go away.
She started walking and I followed her. I stood infront of her.
"I won't allow you to go alone at this night. Come I will drop you."I said holding her hand and walked out along with her.

We reached the gate and saw the security guard still laying down on floor unconscious.
"Poor man. Let me wake him up."she was about to wake up him when I stopped her.
"Please Meenakshi. I will help him after I return back. Now let's go."I dragged her towards the area where her scooter has parked. She was about to get in when I moved her back occupying the front seat.
"I will drive."I said starting the scooter.

I drove it while she leaned on my shoulder hugging me from behind. I understood that she is sleeping. So I drove slowly. After a long journey I parked the scooter infront of her apartment before waking her up.

"Thank you Ram. I drifted off into a slumber unknowingly."she said.
We got down and started climbing the stairs to reach her apartment. She opened the door using the duplicate key and turned back to see me.

"Do you want to see Dadu and Malu?"she asked.
"No let them sleep. I am going back."I replied.
"Then good night."she said.
"It's good morning. See the time."I said showing her my watch.
She chuckled.
"Ok I am going."I said.
"Hmm"she nodded.

She was standing there with a sad face since I am going. I moved close towards her making her surprise. Before she can guess about my next move I placed my lips on her right cheek softly. She widened her eyes in shock. I smiled when she shivered under my touch. Before she comes out of the shock I kissed her left cheek too. I moved back and smirked at her.

"Thank you. You made my day."I said.
Before she can say anything I closed the door between us without failing to notice the blush on her face. I walked back with the most happiest face.
