The principal started to clap after the match was over. They didn't notice him watching the match. "Good job. That was an exciting fight." "We decided to practice the rules since they're new." Tai said. "Well that's good. I think it's about time for you guys to go, isn't it?" "Oh, I guess so." They cleaned up the room, making sure it's clean. They waved to the principal before they left. "I knew it was the right thing to choose him."

Kurumi was walking with the gang for awhile before she headed home. "We'll see you tomorrow." "Okay." "Bye!" "Bye." She was walking home after they disappeared, when she bumped into some girls near the park, causing one to drop her stuff. "Oh my, I'm sorry! Let me help you!" When she tried to help, she was knocked back by the other girls. "Get away you klutz!" "Why are there people like you?" "You guys just make the world worst!" "I'm, I'm sorry...." "Oh, you're sorry?! Well you should be!" They she notice Kurumi's deck. "Let me see your deck." "What? Why?" "Did I stutter?" "No..." "Then give it!" Kurumi slowly handed her the deck. She took it from her and looked through it. "Hmm. Hero World? The one with superheroes and robots? That's for babies." She continue looking at it and saw Card Burn. "This looks nice. We'll fight for it." "But..." "It's mine if I win." "I don't...." "Girls, get her ready." The others help her up, and then she through the deck. After some turn, Kurumi lost. She fell to her knees. "We'll do this everyday for now on." She took Card Burn and left. Kurumi started to cry. "Why? Why did this happen?"

The next couple days, Kurumi was depressed. She kept fighting that girl, but lost. One day at the meeting, Rosena tried to see what was wrong. "Hey Kurumi, are you okay?" Rosena asked. She didn't reply. They were in the middle of a Buddyfight. "Kurumi?" She snapped out of it. "Huh?" "Are you okay? You seem out of it." "Yeah, I am." "You've also haven't been using Card Burn." "Um, yeah." They just remain quiet. "Well!" Tai broke the silence. "We have 1 week left. So I think we should train with just our partners." They didn't say anything. "That's a good idea." Blair said trying to remove the awkwardness there. "Lets give it our best! Dismissed!" They were walking home while and Kurumi left the others. "See ya guys." Then ran off. They kept walking when Rosena suddenly stopped. Tai and Blair turned to her. "Is there something wrong Rosena?" Blair asked. "Um, I forgot some of my books at school! So, I gonna go get them." She started to go until Tai called her. "Rosena!" She stopped and looked at him. He had a grin on his face. "Go help your partner." "Thanks!" She left. Tai and Blair continue their way home. "Do you think she can handle it?" "I know so. Don't worry, this is Rosena we're talking about. She'll be fine." "You right. She got this."

Kurumi went to the park where the girls were waiting for her. "Ready for your daily beatdown?" She didn't answer. "I said, are you ready?" "I think the answer's no." Everyone turned to the voice. "Who are you?" "Me? I'm just Kurumi's partner." "Rosena?" "Yep." The girl was getting angry. "Did you tell her?! You little-" She was about to slap her till Rosena stopped her hand. "No, I just followed." "Why you!" She shook off Rosena's grip. "How about we Buddyfight?" Rosena suggested. "Why?" "For her!" She pointed to Kurumi. "What are the conditions?" "Glad you asked. If I win, you give Kurumi's cards back and leave her alone. That means all her cards." "If I win, I take your deck. Deal?" Rosena looked at Kurumi, then back to the girl. "Deal." The other girls and Kurumi stood off to the side. "You're gonna regret this." "Try me." "Power that overwhelms my opponent! Luminize! Powerhouse Knucklers!" "Knights that protect hope! Luminize!
