xlvii. i knew it, i know you

"Do you know what today is about?" Molly asked Sam as the two of them stretched near the doors of Miyagi-Do. Her eyebrows furrowed and she let out a confused laugh. "Sensei Lawrence made me drive Miguel. Said it wasn't necessary for him to be here today."

Sam squinted at Molly's words, completely forgetting about her stretch. "What? He hates when my dad takes charge. He didn't like... pop that vein in his forehead?" Sam asked, pointing at her forehead.

Molly stared at Sam, the two girls frozen at what the LaRusso girl had just said. After a couple seconds of silence, they both started to laugh, Molly falling into Sam, who grabbed both of their shoulders to keep them standing.

From across the dojo, Miguel, Demetri, and Eli were against the wall stretching, Miguel's eyes glued on Sam.

Eli, who was blatantly staring at Molly, forced his eyes away from her and turned to Miguel. When he noticed Miguel was staring at the two girls, Eli smirked. He let out a small snicker and looked to Demetri. The two boys bit back their smiles to hide any laughter before they looked back to Miguel.

"So, you and Sam back in the dojo. Game on, right?" Demetri asked, throwing an arm around Miguel's shoulder. Miguel rolled his eyes, finally looking away from Sam to shrug Demetri's arm off his shoulders.

"Yeah, game on for karate." He grumbled, shoving his hands into his hoodie pocket. Eli scoffed, looking back to the two girls as their laughter died down. Eli's smile widened and he nodded his head to the two girls.

"Come on. I see you staring at her." Eli taunted, elbowing Miguel teasingly.

Demetri turned away from Sam and to Miguel, his brows furrowed. "I thought you decided to keep things platonic?" He asked and Eli immediately chuckled, nervously shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Yeah, well, she did. He didn't." Eli muttered, awkwardly shoving his hands in his pockets, his comment earning a glare from Miguel. Demetri clapped his hand on Miguel's back, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Well, uh, you know what they say, 'Put a box of matches near some fireworks, soon enough...'" Demetri imitated the sound of an explosion before turning back to Miguel, shaking his shoulder. "Sparks will fly."

He looked back at to Eli and threw his hand out to gesture to him. "It's what happened with Molly and Eli." Demetri said with a big smile, watching Eli stare off at Molly again.

After Molly agreed to be Eli's girlfriend—and after their spontaneous karate practice—Eli rushed to Demetri's to tell him everything. It reminded Demetri of when Molly asked Eli out back at computer camp. He was happy for the two of them.

His eyes moved back to Sam, ready to give Miguel some more words of encouragement, but his smile faltered watching another person walk into the backyard.

"Something tells me it's about to be the Fourth of July." Demetri muttered, his eyes following Robby walk across the yard.

Eli and Miguel turned to see who he was looking at and Eli's face dropped when his eyes fell in Robby who was looking around the dojo as if trying to find someone to talk to.

"Can't believe that piece of shit's on our team." Eli muttered, his jaw tightening just at the sight of Robby.

Miguel shook his head, pressing his hand into the center of Eli's chest and pushing him back jokingly. "All right. Relax." Miguel laughed out and when Eli looked at him, Miguel shook his head reassuringly. "He wants exactly what we want. It's gonna be okay."

Even though Eli didn't trust Robby, he trusted Miguel. Eli stared at the boy for a second before he let out a small groan in defeat. He turned to look at Molly, and his entire face fell as he saw Robby walking toward her.

"What the hell is he doi–"

Eli was cut off by a loud whistle. Everyone turned their heads and saw Chozen standing on the sparing deck with a carton of eggs at his feet.

"Line up!" He yelled and immediately, instead of heading toward the man, Eli made a beeline to Molly. Hawk grabbed Molly's hand as soon as she was in arms reach and pulled her toward the man. Molly laughed under her breath at Eli's action, not thinking much of him and just letting him pull to the front until she was standing in between him and Miguel.

"So where are my dad and Johnny?" Sam asked, looking around the backyard once she realized that not only Johnny wasn't showing up, but her dad too.

The man shook his head. "Not here. Today, you train with me." He told Sam before his eyes moved to the rest of the students. "Bow."

As the students bowed, Chozen hummed in a quiet approval. "Cobra Kai gaining ground. We must prepare." He explained as the students started to come back up.

"This is gonna be badass. Check out that throwing knife." Mitch whispered excitedly from behind Molly.

Molly turned around to face the boy, giving him a nervous look as she eyed him up ad down. "No offense, but I think you're the last person I want around a throwing knife." Molly muttered and Mitch's smile dropped instantly.

"Now, we learn about Yanbaru Kuina." Chozen explained, making Molly turn back to the front. Chris let out an excited gasp from the other end of the back row, standing near Demetri and Nate. "What is that? Like, some top-secret karate move? Like a throat rip?" He asked and Molly pressed her lips together to hold back any laugh.

Chozen squinted at Chris. "No. It is bird. In English called Okinawa rail. Endangered. Cannot fly."He explained.

"Hence, endangered." Demetri muttered more to himself than anyone else, but the whole class heard him.

Molly's eyes moved to the eggs by Chozen's feet and her eyes softened in worry. "So these are the real eggs for an endangered species?" Molly asked, looking up at Chozen through her eyelashes.

Chozen's eyes widened as if Molly was a madman and he immediately shook his head. "What? No! Trader Joe's. $3.29." He reassured and when Molly relaxed, Chozen looked back up to the kids and gestured to the dozen of eggs in front of him. "Take egg."

Molly was one of the first to grab an egg. She held it carefully in her hands, staring down at it as if it would create some protective force field to keep it from breaking.

"So what do we do with them?" She asked gently rubbing her thumb across the egg in her hand. Molly finally looked up from the egg in her hand to her sensei as the last person grabbed their egg.

Chozen's eyes stayed on Molly as he spoke. "Yanbaru Kuina must protect egg from Kume Shima habu, poison snake. You must do same." Chozen explained and Molly's face dropped. She did not want real snakes involved.

"What are we protecting them from?" Robby asked and Molly bit her tongue in annoyance at the boy's voice.

She kept her gaze on Chozen as his face twisted into a glare. "From me." He spat, reaching behind his back and pulling out two throwing knives.

...

"I see many little birds spread in wind!"

The kids have had an hour to hide their eggs and that meant Molly spent the past hour panicking about where to hide her egg.

She looked around the dojo and the odd spots her teammates were hiding their eggs: Miguel hid his in his hoodie pocket, Sam had hers in her backpack, Mitch was sitting on his, Chris had his in a tree, and Bert had his in the koi pond.

Molly groaned. At this point, she was ready to throw hers over the fence and leave it at that. "Where the hell am I supposed to hide this thing?" She whispered to herself, looking around for anywhere Molly could quickly hide the egg.

"I was wondering if burying it in the dirt could work. It'll give him a bit of a challenge."

Molly froze at the voice behind her. Slowly, she turned around and came face to face with Robby. His hands were nervously in his pockets and he raised his eyebrows.

"I was also wondering if we could talk?" Robby asked, his voice raising with his shoulders in a slight shrug as if bracing himself for some sort of rejection.

Molly stared at him for a few seconds. Part of her wanted to say no—to turn away and leave this conversation before it could stir up old wounds. But another part of Molly knew she needed to hear this, and Robby probably needed to say it.

"Yeah. Yeah, sure." She said quietly, nodding her head and Robby exhaled, his hands sliding into his pockets. He glanced away, dragging his tongue along his bottom lip before speaking.

"I'm sorry." He admitted, finally looking at her. "For how everything went down. And for everything I've done and said."

Molly barely moved, but he could tell she was listening. His eyes dropped to the ground for a second before lifting again.

"I was just... I was so mad at my dad for never visiting me, and then one day, Kreese visited, and I just..." He shook his head, exhaling sharply. "I let him and Cobra Kai blur everything around me. And I shouldn't have let you be included in that."

Molly blinked, swallowing the lump forming in her throat.

"You were—" Robby stopped himself and quickly shook his head. "You are probably the best thing that happened to me." Robby admitted in a near-whisper.

Molly pressed her lips together as Robby shook his head, waving his hand around in his jacket pocket for emphasis. "I wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for everything you've done for me." He continued, his voice steadier now, like he had been holding in these words for months.

"You weren't a bad girlfriend, Molly. You were the best."

Molly let out a shaky breath, looking down, but Robby took a step closer.

"I just let Tory get in my head and I took you for granted and I screwed everything up." Robby said more to himself than anything. Molly's eyes widened at the mention of Tory. She shook her head crazily, taking a step toward Robby with a squint.

"Wait, what do you mean Tory got in your head?" Molly asked, instinctively wrapping her arms around her ribs.

Robby hesitated, noticing the action, but deciding not to bring it up right then. He sighed, knowing he shouldn't have brought up Tory at all considering her and Molly's past and what he was about to tell her.

He licked his lips nervously, his eyebrows pulling together as he stared at the grass at his feet.

"When I first got out, she tried to make me believe that while I was away, you moved on..." He muttered, his gaze flickering toward the sparring deck where Eli was sitting with Demetri and Miguel.

"Moved on with Eli." Robby clarified, gesturing toward him.

Molly followed his gaze. When she and Eli locked eyes, he immediately noticed something was off. His eyebrows raised, and his head tilted slightly, silently asking if she was okay.

Molly gave him a small nod, knowing what he was silently asking.

"I tried not to believe her, but then one night..." Robby trailed off, and Molly's head snapped back to Robby, her eyes a little wider when he spoke. She watched the way his fingers flexed at his sides as he licked his teeth.

"I came over to your place, and you guys were talking outside. And I just... I couldn't stop thinking about it after that." He whispered and Molly's face fell. She remembered that night. She remembered how weird he had been afterward, how distant. She should've asked him more about it. She could've.

Molly opened and closed her mouth, struggling to find the words.

"Robby, I never—"

"I know." Robby quickly interrupted, nodding his head. His eyes shut briefly as he sighed, like he had carried this weight for too long. "I knew it back then too. I know you." Robby said, making sure to put emphasis on his words so Molly would believe him.

"After prom, she told me the truth. And then I felt like even more shit because I had just yelled at you." Robby said, huffing under his breath. Molly let out a dry chuckle, shaking her head as she thought back on the memory of prom.

When her dry laughter died down, Robby frowned. He suddenly struggled looking at Molly and turned his head.

"It really did slip my mind that it was your birthday." Robby blurted, his eyes staring at one of the potted plants perched by the fence.

Molly's breath caught, her body stiffening as her head snapped back up to look at Robby. Her eyes were wide as her eyes bounced back and forth between both of Robby's.

"And I know that's not any better than if I just purposely ditched you, but I wanted you to know I never meant to hurt you that day. I really am so sorry about that. About all of it." Robby whispered, but Molly didn't say anything. She couldn't.

She stood there, her fingers twitching at her sides before she shoved them into the pocket of her zip up. She glanced down, then away, then back at Robby. A sharp exhale passed through her nose like she was forcing herself to breathe.

Her throat bobbed as she swallowed hard. She just stood there, taking it all in and for the first time in a long time, she didn't look at Robby as the boy who had hurt her. She looked at him as the boy she loved. She saw the Robby she was with before the school fight–before everything went to shit. And she knew, deep down, that he meant his apology.

Robby gave her a small, hopeful smile.

"And I'm really happy for you."

Molly's eyebrows lifted slightly, thrown off. Robby chuckled, throwing his head back slightly before he shook his head. "Miguel told me how you and Eli are back together." Robby clarified, his lips twitching into a smile. "From what I've seen at the dojo these past couple of days, and what everyone's always told me... he makes you happy."

Molly couldn't stop the soft smile that grew on her face.

"Yeah..." She muttered, warmth spreading throughout her stomach that she still had wrapped in her arms. She turned her head slightly, watching Eli from a distance.

He and Demetri were talking—well, Demetri was talking, clearly passionate about something, while Eli just stood there, nodding along.

Molly's heart swelled, and she smiled at the sight, nodding her head and turning back to Robby. "Yeah, he does."

Robby watched Molly with a small smile, really happy for her, before he spoke up. "I'm just hoping we can be friends?" Robby asked, his voice careful and testing the waters. "I've really missed you."

Molly smiled at Robby's words. Thinking about her portion of summer when she and Robby were friends, Molly missed it. She watched Robby in front of her, watching the way he was struggling at how long she was taking to answer. Molly chuckled to herself, nodding her head. "Sounds great."

From across the backyard, Demetri continued to ramble on about his newest issue of Dungeon Lord to Eli and Miguel, but Eli hardly paid attention to the boy's words when he realized Robby was still talking to Molly.

Eli had a nasty glare on his face—if looks could kill, Robby would've been a pile of ash by now. He shook his head watching Robby and Molly still talking.

"Look at him trying to move in on her. I should kick his ass, right?" Hawk asked, finally pulling his eyes away from his girlfriend talking to her ex and instead, looking to Miguel and Demetri.

Miguel shook his head, rubbing Eli's shoulder reassuringly in hopes it would calm Eli down. "No, you don't need to do that. Robby's cool now. Besides, I'm sure he's just apologizing." Miguel said, turning back to the conversation happening across the backyard just as Robby started to shake his head and frown.

"Well, he definitely owes her many after everything." Demetri muttered to himself, his eyes never leaving the two. He remembered how out of it Molly was on her birthday. Robby ruined the day for her. He didn't forget that. He wouldn't.

He watched as Molly gave Robby a small smile before she walked away, heading toward him, Eli and Miguel. Demetri's eyes doubled in size and he scrambled to look away from the girl. "Oh, look! Here she comes now." He whisper yelled to try and get Miguel and Eli's attention.

Molly sped toward the three boys with a nervous look on her face. "Please tell me you guys know some good hiding spots." She whispered, looking back to Chozen on the sparring deck to make sure he wasn't listening.

"No, sorry, baby." Eli muttered, he and Miguel shaking their heads as he wrapped an arm around her shouder. Demetri frowned at Molly, lifting his backpack off the floor. "Sorry, Molly. I don't have any hiding spots because I spent the entire hour making this." He reached into his backpack and pulled out his egg wrapped in a handful off different items.

"I have eggs-ecuted the perfect plan. When I win, everyone will have egg on their face." Demetri said, a small smile on his face at his puns. Molly raised her eyebrows, leaning forward to get closer to Demetri, but still keep Eli's arm wrapped around her shoulders.

"Could one say... they'll be shell-shocked?" Molly asked with a big, dorky smile. Miguel and Eli rolled their eyes at her words as Demetri smiled, pointing at Molly in excitement and ptide for her pun.

"Don't egg this on." Miguel grumbled.

Molly, Demetri, and Hawk all whipped their heads to look at the boy, Molly and Demetri's smiles somehow growing wider as Hawk watched him with a look of betrayal.

"Oh!" Molly cheered as Miguel finally realized what he said. He groaned to himself, covering his face with his hands. "I didn't even mean to do that!"

"Enough with the puns!" Eli groaned, feeling like his head might explode if he heard one more egg-related pun. He turned to Demetri and pointed at the creation the egg was trapped in. "What is that thing anyway?"

Demetri pointed at Eli. "I'm glad you asked. I have created a protective covering. I made it out of my college prep book for blunt force impact, and I tied the whole thing together with an old spool of dental floss and..." He raised his left foot, showing that his shoe no longer had a lace. "my left shoelace. It's pretty durable."

Then, Chozen threw a knife across the backyard. The knife whizzed through the air between Molly and Eli's head, lodging itself into Demetri's egg.

"Oh shit!" Eli yelled as he grabbed Molly's arm. He immediately pulled her down the side of the house and toward the front yard with all of Daniel's cars.

Molly barely acknowledged Anthony hiding inside one of Daniels cars as she ran toward it. "Woah! Woah! Woah! What are you doing?" Anthony yelled frantically as Molly opened the drivers seat door to the car Anthony was sitting in.

She carefully rolled her egg under Anthony's seat and looked back to the boy with a stern look and finger pointing right at him. "You tattle, and you're dead." Molly said and Anthony's face paled at how Serious Molly looked.

"O–Okay." The boy stuttered out and Molly nodded, muttering a small "okay" to herself before she closed Anthony's door just as Chozen walked into the front yard.

Eli instantly took a step forward, blocking the man from getting to Molly. He smirked at the man, and held up his egg before getting into his fighting stance. "Want a piece of the champ? Come get it, old man."

As Chozen took slow strides towards Eli, he reached behind his back and pulled out a pair of nunchucks. Molly's jaw dropped as Eli's smirk immediately drop. "Oh no."

Chozen yelled and flicked Eli's egg out of his hand. While it was in the air, Chozen threw the nunchucks back behind his head before bringing it back forward and hit the egg like a baseball. Molly yelped when the egg zoomed passed her and hit the windshield of the car Anthony was hiding in.

Anthony mimicked Molly's yelp from inside the car, Molly hearing him even though the window was rolled up. He quickly rolled down the window, raising his other hand in the air.

"I give up, I give up!" Anthony yelled, sticking his head out of the window as well as his egg.

Molly slowly turned around to face Anthony, her eyebrows furrowed and a small squint on her face. "Wimp." She teased and Anthony looked up at Molly, his eyebrows raising.

"You know what? Just for that..." Anthony started just as Chozen reached him. Just before the man could crack his egg, Anthony looked up at Chozen, shaking his head. "Wait! Hold on." He quickly muttered to him.

Molly face dropped when Anthony stuck his head back into the car and reached under his seat. In seconds, his head and hand was back out of the car with not only his egg in his hand, but Molly's too. Anthony looked up at Chozen with a big grin.

"Here's Mollys egg."

Chozen looked back and forth between Anthony and Molly before letting out a small chuckle. He looked down at the two eggs in Anthony's hands and gently cracked the two eggs.

As Anthony shook the egg residue off of his hand and got out of the car, Molly glared at him. Anthony lifted his head as he closed the car door behind him, his eyes falling on the angry Molly just a few feet away from him.

"Shit." He whispered, running past Chozen and back to the backyard where everyone who lost was supposed to sit and wait.

"Anthony!" Molly screamed, running after him.

...

While Chozen was cracking Molly and Anthony's eggs, Eli walked toward the sparring deck alone. He kept his head down as he walked onto the deck and Robby watched him with raised eyebrows, chuckling to himself at the glum look on Hawk's face.

"How'd he take you out?" Robby asked and Hawk, still angry, turned to glare at Robby with an eyeroll.

"Shut up. Don't talk to me." Hawk snapped. Robby's eyebrows shot up at the venom in Eli's voice and he quickly shook his head.

"If this is about the mohawk, I'm sorry. If anybody knows how Cobra Kai can turn you into an asshole, it's you." Robby defended. Hawk scoffed out a laugh, turning his whole body to face Robby.

"So I'm an asshole?" Hawk asked, walking toward the boy and Robby pursed his lips and looked off into the distance as if he were thinking. "Yeah, well, let's see. Uh, you attacked me, Demetri, Molly and Sam at the mall. You trashed this entire dojo. You broke Demetri's arm." Robby listed, putting up a finger every time he named something.

Hawks face grew red, taking another step towards Robby. He raised his eyebrows and tilted his head condescendingly. "Well, at least I apologized for breaking Demetri' arm." He said before he squinted in a mock-confusion.

"Aren't you dating a girl who broke a Molly's ribs and still hasn't apologized yet?" Hawk asked, looking around the dojo while his thumb pointed to the front yard where Molly still was.

"Guys! Enough!" Demetri screamed, shutting up both Eli and Robby.

Both boys turned to face Demetri, who stared back at them with wide eyes and tiredly thrown out arms. "Enough! All right? You're both ex-assholes now. Great. Can we focus on the issue at hand?" Demetri asked before pointing to the front yard where Chozen still was with Molly and Anthony. "There is a madman out there using weapons on us."

Robby squinted as he looked for Chozen. When he didn't see him in the backyard, Robby looked around the sparring deck. Almost the entire class was already out.

He turned back to Demetri and Eli, shaking his head. "Who's even left?"

"Not Anthony." Demetri said as the younger boy ran into the backyard frantically. Demetri's eyebrows creased when Molly was hot on his trail, chasing after him. " Or Molly..."

Anthony ran past everyone crowded on the sparring deck, hiding behind Chris. When Molly got onto the sparring deck, Demetri stopped her before she could continue chasing Anthony. He grabbed the girls shoulders and forced her to look at him.

"What happened to you?" Demetri nervously laughed out, watching as Molly visibly calmed down in his arms.

After a couple seconds, Molly groaned and rolled her eyes. "I don't want to talk about it."

...

After Chozen got everyone out, he called the students back to the sparring deck. They all watched as he sat on the floor and made a fried egg. Molly shook her head as her stomach grumbled. "Okay, now, this is just mean. I didn't have breakfast today." She muttered, wrapping her arms around her stomach in pain.

Chozen looked up from his egg, his eyes falling on Molly first before he looked over all of the students. "You are not good Yanbaru Kuina. Snakes will take you down one by one. I have tried to tell you what you must do. But you do not listen. You must learn to adapt or soon, you will be extinct." He said before he stood up, pointing at a new carton of eggs at his feet. "Take new eggs. Try again."

The students all lined up and grabbed new eggs. As Molly grabbed hers Chozen stuck his arm out to stop her.

"Molly-san." He announced, making Molly look up from the container of eggs and to the man.

She watched as he plated the fried egg before handing it to her. "Very important to eat breakfast." He said and Molly smiled, muttering a small "thank you" as she took the plate from him.

She walked back toward her team as they all crowded around the pond.

"Sensei Toguchi's real cryptic, like Mr. LaRusso, but aggressive like Sensei Lawrence." Chris said, as Molly took a bite of her fried egg. Eli glanced at Molly when he noticed she was eating. He leaned over to rip off a piece of her food and Molly gestured the plate closer to him.

"It's like the hardest part of both styles." Mitch complained with Chris before scoffing. "Can't wait to get our asses kicked again."

"No, um... G-Guys, uh, wait!" Anthony yelled, making Molly and Eli look up from Mollys plate of food while all of the other students stopped walking away and turned back to him.

"He said that the snakes will take us down one by one. Right? Just like he took us down one by one, but... But what if we weren't a bunch of ones? Like, what if we were..." Anthony struggled finding his next word, his mouth opening and closing as he tried to think of it.

"Together." Sam interrupted, immediately catching onto Anthony's plan. The boy smiled at his sister, nodding his head. "Yeah, exactly. Like, um, a raiding party in Dungeon Lords."

Demetri's eyes widened at the reference, he and Eli nodding their heads in agreement. "Yeah, yeah, yeah! Even if you're a level 85, you can't mount an attack on the grand realm alone." Demetri explained. Molly tried her hardest to understand what he was talking about considering she had been friends with him for the past two years, but before she could fully try to process what Demetri said, Eli added on.

"You need a team. Everybody has a special role. The only way we win is if we work together. As one." Eli said, lightly hitting Demetri's arm in agreement.

Slowly, all of the students started to walk back to the sparring deck. Molly grabbed the empty egg carton and opened it for everyone to put their eggs back in.

Once the carton was full again, she set it down, and the students lined up in front of it, blocking Chozen from getting to it.

"So we're sure we want to put all our eggs in one basket? You're specifically not supposed to do that." Demetri asked and Anthony looked up at him, nodding his head. "This is gonna work."

A loud whistle made them freeze. Time was up.

"Oh no, oh no. Oh God." Mitch muttered under his breath, getting into his fighting stance nervously. Molly barely turned her head to look at the boy, shaking her head. "Get it together, Mitch." She breathed out.

It was almost cinematic the way Chozen ran at them through the fog, bo in hand.

"Oh shit." Molly muttered, catching her teams attention. Eli's eyes widened at Chozen's speed. He quickly got into fighting position. "Ready!" He yelled, everyone getting into their fighting stance with him.

Since Eli was in the center of the line of teens, Chozen ran at him first. He raised his bo and started to bring it down, but Eli blocked it with his forearms.

Robby immediately got out of line, kicking Chozen in the stomach to get him away from Eli as Molly jumped in, trying to throw a punch at the man.

Chozen grabbed Molly's hand and threw her back. Molly stumbled and started to fall backwards, right over the eggs.

"Shit!" Molly screamed as Eli ran forward, catching Molly just before she could fall back on the eggs.

"Grab the bo!" Eli yelled when he noticed Chozen block a handful of moves from Sam, Miguel, and Robby with the weapon.

Over half of the students ran forward and grabbed onto the bo while the other half tried to fight Chozen.

When they got the bo out of his hands, Molly turned to Demetri on her left. The two made eye contact and nodded. At the same time, they ran toward Chozen, spun around, and kicked him in the chest.

Chozen stumbled back, groaning and the kids stopped, waiting to see his next move. He stood up straight and scanned his eyes over all of the students.

"Snake concede." Chozen breathed out in defeat and the team immediately erupted in cheers.

"Dude, it worked!" Eli screamed, running to Anthony to hug him. Molly laughed as she got thrown into a hug with Sam, Miguel, and Demetri.

Chozen smiled at all of them, nodding his head. "This is what we have that Cobra Kai does not." He announced, making all of the students so their celebrating to focus on him. "Their movement mile wide, but only inch deep. But our movement, inch wide, but mile deep. Now that you have learned to work together, I will teach you how to master your defense."
