(Picture above is mine! I drew it back in 8th grade XP)
The quiet sound of a brush glossing over a blank canvas could be heard, for it was the only noise being made. Gently moving the brush in elegant strokes, the artist shows the pure talent and concentration being put into this one piece of artwork. The brush was then dipped into the sky blue paint once more and placed against the canvas again. There was then the sound of soft humming coming from the monster who was currently painting. The tune seemed simple, yet such a pretty tune in and of itself. It reminded himself of rain falling down gently.
The tune then caught the attention of two skeletons. One was in blue and gray armor, while the other one was in a yellow and blue outfit. They both seemed to hold a sweet, child like innocence. "What are you painting, Ink?" The yellow and blue skeleton questioned. Ink turned to his friend and smiled widely, showing the quickly finishing piece. "I'm painting an AU. You guys have heard of bitties, right?" The two other skeletons nodded. "The girl in the image is a Bitty standing on a sunflower.
Blueberry, the blue clad skeleton, smiled brightly with stars in his eyes. "WOWIE! THAT'S AMAZING, INK!" Dream concurred with Blue, nodding his head. "It's so detailed. How did you do that so quickly?" Ink smiled at Dream. "A lot of practice." Ink then turned back to his painting and began to finish the girl's body. Dream and Blue watched in amazement as Ink added such small details to such a tiny image.
The girl's (H/C) hair seemed to shimmer in the nonexistent light that fell upon it. She seemed to be staring up at the sky above her. Her hair blowing in the wind as the sunflower below her held her towards the sky above. Her simple outfit seemed to match the scenery in the image.
"Ink?" Blue asked. Ink hummed in response. "One of the papers is starting to rip." Ink dropped the brush on the table and turned to look at Blue. "What do you mean, 'one of the papers is starting to rip'?" Blue pointed towards the paper he was talking about, only for Ink to notice the tears becoming more prominent. "The AU is about to tear itself apart! We've gotta go!" Ink yelled. Dream and Blue nodded and ran off with Ink. Before Ink left, he had left three bottles on the table. A strange, blueish liquid and two empty bottles.
While they went to go fight Nightmare, Error had made his way into the void Ink calls home. He smirked to himself, noticing the painting Ink had just finished moments ago. "It wOUld bE A shAmE tO hAvE thIs rUInEd, wOUldn't It?" He asked to no one in particular. He then noticed the blue bottle on the table. "mAybE... thIs!" He then threw the blue bottle at the painting. The bottle shattered on contact and the contents quickly spilt out and coated the image.
Error chuckled at his work. "thIs Is whAt thE shrImp gEts fOr rUInIng my fUn." He then began looking around for what he actually came for, an AU paper. Nightmare's to be specific. Error was going to hold it hostage, as to get Nightmare to do his bidding, maybe even Dream as well.
Then there was a loud noise that caused Error to flinch. Ink had opened a portal and about to walk through. Error used his strings to pull himself off the ground. "crAp!" He whisper yelled to himself. "hOw cAn I gEt OUt Of thIs?" Error then decided to go a portal whilst he was up in his strings. "thIs Is gOIng tO gO hOrrIbly wrOng." Error then jumped through.
Ink, Blue, and Dream all walked out of the portal, only to notice the painting covered in blue paint. "NO!" Ink yelled, rushing over to his ruined masterpiece. "What happened? It was fine when we left, wasn't it?" Blue and Dream nodded, unable to speak. Ink looked so broken. "I..." Ink then began to cry into his hands. The colorful tears streaming down his face as he began to shake.
As Blue and Dream began to walk over and comfort their friend, they saw the painting fall to the ground. Ink flinched and looked behind him, seeing the painting splattered on the ground. Some of it couldn't fall to the floor, though there was originally nothing there to hold it up. Ink got curious and decided to go check out the 'bump' as he called it.
When he picked up the painting, Ink quickly noticed the bright yellow cloth laying on the floor. He went to pick it up, but saw something move from underneath it. Behind him, Dream and Blue are gasping. The see the girl from the image, or really, the lack there of the girl, in the image. Gently picking up the cloth, Ink's sockets go wide and his eye lights change. "H-how did... what?!" He stuttered in amazement.
Quietly, the little girl raises her head up and yawns cutely. She begins to rub the sleep from her eyes and attempts to stand up, but begins to fall over. Ink quickly reached out and held her up, as so she wouldn't fall face first to the floor. "How are you out of the painting?" Ink asked the girl. She shook her head, not knowing what happened, or how to respond. Dream and Blue look at each other as Ink starts to talk to the small girl. "INK! I MUST LEAVE TO GO SEE MY BROTHER!" Ink nods and let's Blue leave, though Dream was brought along on the trip.
The girl stared at the skeleton in front of her. "What's your name? My name is (Y/N)." Ink smiled. "I'm Ink!Sans, but you can call me Ink. The Bitty smiled. Ink then picked up the small girl and nuzzled her with his 'nose'. "You're so adorable!" He gushed. (Y/N) blushed from embarrassment. "Th-thank you." Ink only smiled wider. "Would you like to stay with me? I promise I'll take good care of you!" The girl looked around, avoid eye contact with the skeleton. 'Should I? I mean, I did just come to life and meet him.' She then shrugged and nodded.
Ink's smile looked like it could rival the brightness of the sun. "Yaaay!" He hollered. He then ran off with the girl in his hand. As he slowed down, he noticed something about the girl. She's a bitty. Normal beds are like miles of land to run on. He had to create everything to keep the girl, which he didn't mind. "The more art, the better." He spoke aloud. (Y/N) smiled at his statement. "True that."
After quick drawings were made by Ink, the new home for (Y/N) was built. He set her down neck to the 'large' house and let her explore. "Do you like it?" Ink asked. (Y/N) giggled and nodded. The smile on her face was adorable and made her entire face shine. Ink smiled back. "Thank you for doing this Mr. Ink." Ink chuckled. "Just call me Ink." (Y/N) smiled. "Alright. Ink it is."
After a while, Ink got used to having his little buddy around. They did lots of things together. They painted, drew, danced, and even practiced magic! Ink grew attached to the little bitty. "You're the best friend a skeleton could ask for, you know that (Y/N)." She nodded and smiled. "You're my best friend as well!" She then placed a kiss of appreciation on his cheek bone. "Thank you so much." She finished with a smile.
"Anything for my little buddy."
(Boom! I did it! Alright. I'm heading to bed. I'm dead tired. I hope you enjoyed! Have a wonderful day!)
