( Grace's POV)

She calmed down after a bit , i thought of starting the conversation again but it will probably lead her to breaking down once again.

I just patted her on back while breaking the hug.

"It's fine , You can tell me what happened when you are okay with it. I will be by your side if you will be honest " I said while looking in her puffy eyes.

I knew she is the right person

I chuckled at what she was thinking. She hugged me again and said "You are the right person "

I broke the hug once again and saw the time it was almost 1:30.

" We should be get going now " I said while looking for approval, she nodded and washed her face.

But then she realised she had mascara on her eyelashes. She looked at me with a horrifying expression. Her eyes were black now , I broke into laughter and she washed her face again.

I handed her a pack of wipes from my waist bag. She quickly cleaned her face and reached for her sling bag. She had a mini makeup kit , she quickly did light makeup and proceeded towards the door.

I followed her this time. We were on time. Deric walked up to us and said." We are instructed to be assembled their. A short knowledge session or something is going to happen"

We both nodded and headed towards a door. It was a small space with chairs and a make shift stage. We are suppose to sit with our group members. We all set down in a bench.

During the whole session I noticed Hazel giving annoyed looks to Olivia but she was ignoring her.

Around 2 pm we all headed towards our bus.

Kai walked towards me " Hey how was your experience with Olivia. " he said.

Before I can speck Sebastian joined us and said " I don't know about you but mine was horrific. Hazel just a bitch. She was completely in her own world. Eric and I did all the work. And she will get free marks in her internals " He sighed and looked at me. " Sorry you can go on"

"Mine was okay I mean It was not that bad " i said and stopped for a while " Hey Kai meet this night after dinner I have something to talk about "

Kai nodded and Sebastian looked at us with confusion.

We all boarded the bus and soon reached at a restaurant that was pre booked by school.We had our lunch and were escorted back to the bus.

"So what is the topic " Kai said while sitting next to me.

"I guess Olivia is not bad , its just Hazel who controls her "

"Yeah , we know that "

"You know it. Actually when we were in nursery. Olivia came up to me and cried. I guess she need some real friends."

"So you want to meet her after dinner"

"Yeah. And it will be awkward if Lucas and Sebastian will be their. And if I will be alone than I'll mess up "

"Don't worry love it'll be fine " he said looked the other side.

I smiled at the little nickname. Kai and I have been close from the last 3 weeks. But the first time we met it was awkward. I peeked out the window.

What will happen when they will know the truth about me. How will they react.

Slowly the bus started , we saw many shops of flowers, restaurant, , cafe and others.

This time the breeze burned through my face and neck , i shivered and closed the window. A cold hand came to my forehead, Kai , it was so cold , I felt it deep down my skin. My head slowly tilted backwards.

"You have fever. " I hummed in response. My body was just not working properly, probably from the lack of sleep from last night. Or the practice yesterday afternoon.

After a while the bus stopped. Everyone was filled with excitement and anticipation unlike me , I was lacking energy, my whole body felt so heavy. A hand patted my shoulder and I opened my eyes.

"Come on. We have get down" I nodded and stood up. My legs felt wobbly.

Kai extended his hand for me to get down safely. His hand was warm unlike the cold wind that pierced through my skin and i shivered against it again.

I walked slow behind evryone else , everything felt so irritating. But I was always accompanied by the warmth of a friend I never assumed to have ever , not after Maverick.Kai feels the same as him.

He walked by my side , the zoo was boring and more like a burden to me. Kai took permission for us to stay at the cafe of zoo until they were visiting sleeping tigers , shouting monkeys or so not interested elephants.

Wow what a field trip. I wish I was at my house. Against the burning fireplace , taking mind controlling lessons instead of taking this field trip.

My eyelids were heavy.

"Come on ,have this quick and after that take the medicine I am giving you."

Kai handed me warm cup of streaming hot chocolate. He was the kind of friend I want to keep by my side.

Taking one sip at a time. I felt a gaze at me. My eyes travelled to the owner of those blue eyes. He was smiling at me.

"I wonder how we are friends" I raised an eyebrow in confusion. I guess I am sick not him.

He sighed and took a sip of from his drink.

"What is it " I asked curious about what he was enjoying.

"You should drink yours"He said while taking his glass on the other hand.

"Come on show me " I said in a commanding tone. Even tho I was sick I still have my aura.

"Only in one condition"

"What"

"Let me have a sip from yours"

"Firstly, tell me what is it "

He took a straw from the stand kept on table and slip the cup in my direction. I offered him my cup in response. As the deal said. He is going to take a sip from the side I was drinking from.

"Wait , i drank fro-"Too late he already took a sip.

I sighed in frustration, instead of explaining what he just did I just took a sip from his cup , it felt cold , coffee , cold coffee. I gasped at the cold sensation as it gulped down my throat.

"You should have told me "

"What " He was defensive.

"It felt like knife "

"You wanted to have it. " Why is this creature so naggy. I just exchanged the cup and drank my hot chocolate.

As the others were finished with staring at animals, we all were escorted back to the bus.

After settling at our seats , Kai took a bag from the upper shelve.

"We have something like this ?" I asked in surprise I never expected something like this.

"No I Kept it in advance"

Ke quickly went through a couple of medicine and finally took one.

"Come on take this" A tablet. His other hand took a syrup out " And this"

Syrups I hate them. They are always so bitter. "I won't" i protested , I am okay with taking 10 tablets at a time but syrups just not my side.

"Just take it " I was about to say more but his eyes pierced through mine. I was lacking the words without saying more. I took the medicine and ate it against my will.

"It's bitter" I was about to throw up.

"Just gulp it " his hand raised to my mouth. His fingers were brushing through my lips. I did as he said.

"Good , Now just rest " His hand slowly caressed my hairs and soon my dozed to sleep on his shoulder.

Not more than 15 minutes and we stopped with a jurk.
