Chapter 10

Taehyung was anxious, Jungkook hadn't gone home for the whole day after their argument. Even though Jungkook treated him badly, he still cares for him. It sounds foolish, but that's his behavior.

“Appa, have you seen Dad?”

Taehyung looked at the door of his room and saw Jungsoo rubbing his eyes after waking up to get ready for his school.

“I haven't seen him yet, did he tell you something?” Taehyung asked, kneeling in front of Jungsoo.

“Nothing.” Jungsoo pouted. “But what happened to your face, Appa? Why have you got so many patches on your face?” Jungsoo also noticed those band-aids on Taehyung's face to cover up his bruises.

“It's nothing, Appa just accidentally hurt himself, that's why.” Taehyung lied with a smile.

“Are you in pain?” Jungsoo asked and cupped Taehyung's cheeks.

His small hands were trying to soothe Taehyung's cheeks, which Taehyung found adorable.

“Don't worry, Appa is fine, don't think about me. You should get ready for your school.” Taehyung giggled.

“Okay.” Jungsoo sighed and went back to Taehyung's room to start taking a bath.

Taehyung was relieved that he is able to change the topic. He doesn't want his son to get suspicious of him. He flinched when the door was open, he looked at the door of his house and saw Jungkook standing there.

“Where have you been? Jungsoo is looking for you.” Taehyung said, looking at him.

“Mind your own business.” Jungkook responded with a cold tone before proceeding to get inside Taehyung's room as well.

But Taehyung found something odd, when Jungkook walked in front of him, he saw Jungkook's fist. They looked like bleeding, or maybe Taehyung just mistook them.

He shook his head and decided to cook for Jungsoo instead. While he was cooking, Jungkook came out of the room with fully new clothing and sat down on the floor, in front of the TV to watch something.

“Mr. Chong Yigun, the founder of Civian, was found guilty of charges against him. He was reported for misconduct, graft, and sexual abuse. He is now brought to jail for a more thorough interrogation. The shareholders and board members of the Civian were under investigation for sexual abuse and harassment allegations against them.”

Taehyung was frozen when he heard that. He can't be wrong, it was Mr. Chong who harassed him in the club. He immediately turned off the stove and knelt beside Jungkook to watch the news.

He was right, it was Mr. Chong he met last night. Satisfaction was written all over Taehyung's face, knowing that Mr. Chong will pay for what he did to his victims. He didn't expect he will get justice quickly. Not just Mr. Chong, but also the people who were with him during that incident.

Those people were also shown in the news getting arrested by the police. But what caught Taehyung's attention was their body condition. Their faces seemed to be knocked out and also had fresh wounds and bruises as well.

Why are their faces like that, to begin with?

And, Taehyung scanned Jungkook's fist. He is 100% sure that Jungkook's fist got bruises too.

Is it just an odd coincidence?
