Chapter 13

“Mr. Kim, finally, you came, I thought you didn't see my e-mail to you. Are you ready to help us?” Grace spoke, watching Taehyung coming, but with confusion because he was with Jungkook and Jungsoo.

“Help with what?” Jungkook responded instead.

“I invited Mr. Kim to be part of the volunteer during the program, and he accepted it.” Grace explained.

“I'm sorry, Ms, I'm here as Jungsoo's parent. But if you'd like, I can still help before and after the program.” Taehyung felt embarrassed to say that for some reason.

“Why would you invite him as a volunteer? You know he is Jungsoo's father. And this is not the first he is participating in this event.” Jungkook retorted.

“I apologized Mr. Jeon, I was told that you were going to come here with Ms. Shin, that's why I did that.” Grace apologized to him.

“Why would you believe in that? I and he were only Jungsoo's parents. There's no way I will come with someone who's not part of my family to a Family event like this.” Jungkook stated and rolled his tongue in his inner cheek.

“I'm so sorry once again, Mr. Jeon.” Grace apologetically bowed her head.

“It's okay, Ms, please don't mind it.” Taehyung told her, and Grace thanked him.

They went inside the school, they were in the field with many parents and children who were already there. There are some booths and games in the area for later.

“Taehyung, is that you?”

Taehyung looked at the person and saw it was Matthew, one of the fathers of Jungsoo's classmates. Taehyung knew him because of this event. They usually talk to each other, but with a little bit of distance because Jungkook got jealous of Matthew.

But since they are already divorced, there's no way Jungkook would get jealous, right?

And it would be fine to talk to Matthew…

“Matthew, it's been a while since I saw you. How are you? I heard that you traveled around the world.” Taehyung giggled.

“Yeah, you're right, and I'm doing fine. Next time, I'll invite you with me, I'm sure you'll have fun traveling.” Matthew chuckled.

“That sounds fun, sure, I'll wait for that, then.” Taehyung playfully laughed.

“By the way, what's your secret? You always look so beautiful every time I see you as if you don't age or something.” Matthew cupped Taehyung's face, making Taehyung giggle.

“What a…”

Taehyung couldn't complete what he wanted to say when he saw Matthew being pulled away from him and then, Jungkook was standing behind Matthew while holding the back of Matthew's collar.

“You two are so close to each other as if you guys wanted to swap each other's faces.” Jungkook spoke with a cold and stern tone.

“What's with that attitude, Jeon? Don't tell me you are jealous again.” Matthew chuckled.

“Jealous? Why would I get jealous of a piece of shit like you? I'm afraid that my husband's face might swap into your ugly face. I don't want him to look like you.” Jungkook mocked, standing beside Taehyung.

Husband?

Did Jungkook call him his husband? Or he just misheard it?

“Tsk, Why do you have to be so annoying? I'm gonna leave now, see you later, Taehyung.” Matthew smiled at Taehyung but rolled his eyes at Jungkook before leaving them alone.

“You,”

Taehyung flinched when Jungkook spoke.

“Y… yes?” Taehyung gulped because Jungkook was glaring at him.

“Don't talk to him.”

Jungkook said and left Taehyung alone as if he didn't call him his husband earlier.
