Chapter 29

Waking up, Taehyung hissed instead of a yawn. He could feel the pain in his lower body. He sat up on the bed and looked around the room. It seemed Jungkook already left because he was nowhere to be seen around the house.

He carefully stands up from the bed while covering his naked body with the white bedsheet before going into the bathroom to clean himself.

Once he was done, he went downstairs because someone was knocking on the door. He thought it might be Jungkook because the key to the cabin was in the room.

It was late for him to realize that he shouldn't open the door because it was Mirae and Shin behind her, AKA Jungkook's soon-to-be wife.

“What are you two doing here?” Taehyung asked out of confusion.

“Ha, shouldn't we be asking that question to you? What are you doing on my fiancé's property?” Shin inquired, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Why don't you ask him instead? He's your fiancé, right? Shouldn't you know the answer already if you are important to him?” Taehyung responded, looking at them.

“Did you dare to talk back to her? Do you even know whom you're talking to?” Mirae was infuriated by how Taehyung responded to Shin.

She believed that is very disrespectful because Taehyung is nothing compared to Shin. He should learn to respect her.

“She asked me a question, shouldn't I answer her? Am I wrong?” Taehyung innocently retorted.

Well, Taehyung is right, isn't he?

If a person asks a question, shouldn't you answer them? That's what Taehyung did.

“You should know your position, someone like you has a limit. You can't cross the boundaries of people like us. You are disgusting to be close to us.” Mirae scolded him.

“Then leave this place now if you would rather not be close to me. It was you who was crossing the boundaries here, not me.” Taehyung stated the truth.

“How dare you be so disrespectful?! You should be licking our shoes instead of talking back!” Shin yelled.

“She's right, you have no right to be this disrespectful. After all, you are already divorced from my son after cheating on him. You don't deserve to be in this place because this cabin will be used to be their honeymoon place once their wedding happens. So, why don't you get the fuck out? You are ruining everything.” Mirae grimaced.

“I'm sorry, but I won't listen to whatever you're going to tell me. Your son was the one who told me to live here, I didn't force him to do that so. If you have a problem with me being here, please tell that to him.” Taehyung told them with a smile.

“Do you think I will believe that? Jungkook loves Shin, and if Shin has a problem with you being here, I'm sure that Jungkook will throw you out of this place. Besides, you are a whore, I'm sure you forced yourself on my son's life.” Mirae retorted.

“What's with this commotion? What are you two doing here?”

Finally, Jungkook came because Taehyung wanted to talk to the wall rather than talk to them.
