“Don't worry, Jungkook, it's nothing, I think they just misunderstood something.” Taehyung told Jungkook.

“Appa! I miss you!” Jungsoo came out behind Jungkook and ran towards Taehyung, hugging his legs.

“Appa misses you too, bub.” Taehyung smiled, lifting Jungsoo by holding him by his underarm.

“Get inside with him, I'll talk to them.” Jungkook told Taehyung and gave Jungsoo's bag to him.

“Okay, and please tell them that I won't lick their shoes. That's so disgusting of them.” Taehyung smiled and walked away while carrying Jungsoo.

Since Jungkook was facing them, he didn't see Taehyung smirking at them, which completely annoyed Mirae.

“Why he's here, Jungkook?” Mirae grumbled.

“I don't think that should be your concern, this is my property. What's your purpose for going here?” Jungkook retorted.

“Well, I'm here because I wanted to check this place. Shin and I were planning for your upcoming wedding and I mentioned this cabin, so she suggested checking this out to see if this place will be good for your honeymoon place because she doesn't want to go abroad and wanted to create new memories for you in this place, but this time with her.” Mirae stated with a grin on her face.

Since she knew how memorable the cabin was for Jungkook, she wanted to erase those memories of Jungkook with Taehyung and replace them with Shin.

“We're just still discussing the wedding, I didn't even agree yet. So please, stop saying nonsense.” Jungkook replied.

“So what? You're going to say yes anyway. Besides, it's better if we do the preparation early, it will be a less hassle.” Mirae said.

“If that's what you wanted to say, please leave. And don't ever come back just to bother Taehyung. If this ever happens again, I hope you won't regret it.” Jungkook told her.

“That's true, I let him live in my cabin. So, what is it to you? Who knows, if I let him go back to his place, someone might try to kill him, right, Mother?” Jungkook retorted, glaring at Mirae who was taken aback by his words.

“What are you saying?! That's not your problem anymore if something happened to him. If he dies, that's his unfortunate fate. Stop being concerned about him, he's not your husband anymore.” Mirae argued back.

“Too bad, Mother, I'm too afraid if something happened to him. I am not ready to let him go yet. And if he dies because of someone threatening him, I will make sure they will pay.”

If look would kill, Mirae might already die because of how Jungkook glare at her.

“Why are you talking like that, Jungkook? Aunty was right all along, you shouldn't think of him, you should think of me, about us.” Shin meddles with the conversation between them.

“Why would I think about you? I'm pretty sure you are old enough to take care of yourself. Besides, you are nothing to me and there's no us. Please, go back to where you came from, it's so annoying to have both of you here. And if you want Taehyung to lick your shoes, just die instead.”

Jungkook closed the door while Mirae shouted his name to get his attention.
