Chapter 31

The following weeks went well, Taehyung usually met Jungsoo even though he should have met him just for the first week of the month. He can't help but feel happy because he can have a longer time with Jungsoo than usual.

But today, he is alone in the cabin, Jungkook left earlier, and he seemed to be going to his work while Jungsoo had to attend class. It's boring to be alone, and Taehyung doesn't have anything else to do in the cabin because he already finished the chores.

“Maybe, I should go grocery. Right, we don't have stock in the fridge.” Taehyung uttered, noticing the almost empty fridge.

He went out of the cabin to go to the walk-distance grocery store. While walking inside the grocery, he texted Jungkook that he will be out to buy some groceries.

Well, he had to tell Jungkook about his whereabouts. He knew it was because of what happened to him that's why Jungkook was being protective of him.

However, it somehow confused him because why is Jungkook acting as if he cares or something?

They aren't in a relationship anymore, and the only reason why they have a connection with each other was because of Jungsoo. It shouldn't matter to Jungkook if something happened to him.

But Taehyung won't be lying, he appreciated how Jungkook takes care of him. He felt like it was the time when they were in a relationship.

Yet, he was anxious, after what happened to them that night. Jungkook seemed to be a little distant and also quiet. He barely talks to him unless Jungsoo speaks to him. Taehyung doesn't know why, but for him, Jungkook is avoiding him.

Maybe, Jungkook might regret what happened that night and realize what he had just done. that's why he is acting odd. Taehyung can understand if that's the reason, after all, Jungkook has a fiancé and he will get married soon.

Taehyung lightly smacks his face to go back to his senses.

Why was he thinking of Jungkook?

That shouldn't matter to him whether Jungkook gets married or not. Nothing is going on between them, and that night was just a mistake.

“Right, a mistake. That's it Taehyung, insert that in your mind. He was drunk and didn't know what he was doing. It's a mistake.” Taehyung muttered and sighed.

He shook his head and went back to picking whatever he needed.

Once he was done, he went out of the grocery store while carrying two huge plastic bags. He put it down on the ground for a while to stretch his hands.

“It's been a while, isn't it?”

Taehyung heard a voice behind him, he turned to look at the person, and his eyes widened when he saw who it was.

“Did you miss me? I'm pretty you must miss me, after all, I'm the one who put chaos in your life.” That person grinned.

Taehyung can't be wrong, it was the person who he was allegedly cheated on by Jungkook.
