Act One: The Arrival
Chapter Twenty-Five: Lena Gets Dragged Into a Second Near-Death Experience

Isabella glared at the blonde witch again, "What are you even doing here, it's got nothing to do with you?"

Lena smirked at her, knowing how much it would infuriate the dull brunette, "Well I was asked to be here, so here I am."

They worked out a plan and decided what was to be done, and Alice looked at Lena and mentally asked if she would come with her and Jasper to take Isabella to Phoenix so that she didn't have to be alone with her.

That made Lena snort, but she nodded at the pixie-like vampire agreeing to go with them, only for Alice and Jasper though.

Edward had tried to protest that the blonde would just be a danger to his Bella but once again Carlisle shut him down, and it was decided so the four of them set out headed toward Phoenix.

Lena made small talk with Alice and Jasper, who was driving, while Isabella silently fumed that the blonde was even there, This was supposed to be all about her, not Lena, but the blonde had still somehow managed to weasel her way into.

Eventually, Isabella shoved her earbuds into her ears, a scowl set on her face, which none of the others paid attention to.

They eventually arrived at the hotel and got everything checked in, The four were all littered around the room, just waiting for the call from Edward.

Before Edward called, though, Alice was pulled into a vision. All she saw was a ballet studio, "What do you see?" came Isabella's voice, Jasper handed his wife a sketchpad, and she quickly sketched what she was seeing in her vision.

"A ballet studio?" Questioned Lena.

Alice pulled out of her daze from the vision, "So James is going to a Ballet studio?"

Alice gave the brunette a look, "You recognize the place?"

"Well, I took ballet lessons when I was younger and the studio had an arch like that."

"Is that here in Phoenix?"

Isabella nodded, "Yeah."

Edward then called and spoke to Isabella and then Alice and the two vampires went to check them out of the room and Isabella's phone rang, and she answered it thinking it was her mother since the call was coming from their house.

Her eyes widened when she answered, and it wasn't her mother but James the tracker, telling her that to save her mother she had to come to the ballet studio and immediately Isabella formed a plan in her head that would solve all of her problems and she agreed to meet the vampire in 10 minutes.

Isabella turned toward Lena who had been left in the room with her, "You're coming with me, to go and save my mother..." she threw in a little white lie just to ensure that the blonde would come, "because he's got your father as well."

Lena looked at her suspiciously, but agreed, "Fine, then let's go." The two girls snuck out of the hotel and hailed a cab, and gave the driver the address of the ballet studio.

The walked into the studio, Isabella calling out for her mom and then Renee's voice is heard Isabella ran toward the sound opening the door revealing it to just be a recording from an old video.

Lena scoffed as she glared at Isabella, "You lying little bitch, my dad was never here and evidently neither was your mother." Lena whirled around to leave, only to have her path blocked by James, who grabbed the blonde by the throat. Isabella was watching with thinly veiled glee, thinking that James was going to kill the blonde.

She rolled her eyes at him, "You better get your fucking hands off me because if you don't, you're done for my grandfather is Silas Athanasiou, do you even know who that is? Because if not, then you're an idiot, and he will destroy you."

James' eyes widened he indeed did know who Silas Athanasiou was, and he knew that was the last man you wanted to make an enemy of because of how powerful he was and the powerful connection that he had. He did the smart thing and dropped the blonde witch and focused his attention on the brunette, which made her fume because he was supposed to kill Lena, and then she would try and seduce him into not harming her.

Everything had escalated pretty quickly after that and James had already thrown Isabella into the mirror and broken her leg and bit her wrist by the time Lena had heard that thought which made her scoff and whirl around as she was almost to the door of the studio, as she looked at the brunette, "You need some serious fucking help you're nasty like the man wants to kill you literally threw you into a mirror and broke your leg, and you want to fuck him? You need some serious mental help."

James even looked disgusted by the suggestion of the brunette human wanting him, he did have a mate already and would never betray her like that. "You know what... never fucking mind, I don't even want to kill you anymore like all I want is to be as far away from you as I can fucking get, so I'm out." and then he disappeared. (TBH I did not plan this when I started writing the chapter it just happened as I was writing, and honestly, it's something that I haven't seen ever happen in a fic before.)

Isabella looked offended while also screaming from being in excruciating pain, and then Lena burst out into loud laughter. "Oh oh oh my gods, he literally just dipped, not that I blame him, I wouldn't want to be around your nasty ass either if you wanted to fuck me... but that takes the cake and made my whole fucking year... I wish I had gotten that on video to watch whenever I feel down to make me laugh."

That was when Edward appeared first and looked around, "Where's James?"

Lena, who was still laughing her ass off, said, "he fucking dipped, he's gone." through her laughter and then Edward focused on Isabella as the other Cullens arrived on the scene, well minus Rosalie and Esme who stayed behind to watch over Charlie.

Jasper gave Lena a curious look, feeling her emotions as she laughed, "I'll tell you guys what happened later, promise... it's too fucking good though... Rose will get such a kick out of this."

I swear that scene with James killed me like I was planning to do that normally and have them end him like they do in the movie, but then that happened as I was writing that part, and oh my god I laughed so hard that I had to keep it in.
