Is this how the story ends?

Yes.

For after many people die, whether it be a normal civilian, a mighty king, a soldier, a villain, whoever, no one knows how the story ends.

No one ever knows if the choices they made or the sacrifices they gave made a difference.

They don't know if they even changed anything.

Isn't Death unfair?

Or is it life that is the unfair one for bringing one into the world in the first place?

How about reality, which only serves as a unblinded reminder to the cruel truth?

Or is it all three which are unfair?
