As they walked back to the hotel, Dipper and Pacifica couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. They had fought a dangerous enemy and come out victorious. But the tension of the battle had left them both feeling drained.

They sat down on a bench outside the hotel, and Pacifica turned to Dipper. "I just wanted to say, thank you for everything. I don't think I could have made it through this without you."

Dipper smiled at her, feeling his heart race. "Hey, we're a team, remember? We've got each other's backs."

Pacifica's expression softened. "Yeah, I guess we are."

Suddenly, they both leaned in for a hug, their arms wrapping tightly around each other. For a moment, they just stayed like that, enjoying the warmth of each other's embrace.

Just then, Mabel appeared out of nowhere, grinning from ear to ear. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" she teased. "Looks like somebody's getting cozy!"

Dipper and Pacifica pulled apart, blushing furiously. "It's not like that!" Dipper protested, but Mabel just laughed.

"Sure, sure. Whatever you say, bro," she teased, winking at Pacifica. "You two make a cute couple."

Dipper groaned, but Pacifica just grinned. "Thanks, Mabel. I think we do too."

The sun began to set, Dipper and Pacifica knew that it was time to say goodbye for now. They exchanged phone numbers and promised to keep in touch, promising to go on another date soon.

Just when Pacifica turned to leave, she hesitated for a moment. She then leaned in and quickly pressed a soft kiss on Dipper's cheek, her heart pounding with nerves and excitement. She pulled away, hoping that Dipper hadn't noticed anything.

But as she turned to walk away, Dipper felt a warmth on his cheek and a flutter in his stomach. He looked at Pacifica, who was already walking away, and couldn't help but smile to himself.

Maybe Mabel was right, he thought. Maybe they did make a cute couple after all.
