After that they walked back down into the garage, Charles was confused to see Ava walking beside his older brother, talking like they were old friends, not knowing that they even knew each other... he looked at the blonde, wanting to make sure that she was feeling better than she was when she had gone up to the hospitality "are you feeling all right now?"

She smiled at him, with a nod, "Yes, I just got a little overwhelmed with my emotions, earlier." Lorenzo gave the blonde a questioning look, which she noticed, and explained "Fred introduced us earlier, and right after that was when I was given the jacket, so I got very emotional once I saw it and he witnessed that along with Fred and Carlos."

"Ah okay, that makes sense." Though the eldest brother did know that Charles had a crush on the blonde as well, practically everyone knew that she was his celebrity crush. "Can I see the back of it? you described it upstairs but can I see it as well?" Ava nodded and took the jacket off and let Lorenzo look at the back of the jacket, he chuckled when he saw it, he could definitely understand how seeing that unexpectedly would make her emotional, and he nodded at her as he gave it back, "Wow your dad really went all out with that huh? he really would have loved that."

The blonde singer put it back on and nodded, "Yeah I know he would have... " The others looked confused at that since they didn't know what they were talking about. "I am going to have to do something to thank him for this, I said it once but this jacket is going to be my most prized possession, from here on out."

"It's very nice, and seems to be well made too."

"It was a very thoughtful gesture on my dad's part, I would have loved it anyway, but just that added detail makes it mean that much more to me... I told him a few months ago that I was thinking about getting a Ferrari jacket and then he got me one but had it custom-made... honestly, my papà is the best and I love him so much."

Charles had already changed out of his race suit and into normal clothes so Ava walked out of the garage with the Leclerc family, Charles was beside her and they were just making small talk.

They were walking through the paddock when they heard a voice, "Avalyn Grace, is that you?"

The blonde smiled, as she turned her head, that was also a voice that she recognized, "Daniel Riccardo..." Danny was another person that Ava had met through Jules, as a kid, because Danny was another of the French driver's best friends.

"It's been ages since I've seen you." she nodded she had only spoken to him a few times since Jules' death, that was the few times that she had seen the Aussie driver, but it had been at least two years since the last time she saw the older man. She had been attending an event and he was also attending so they ran into each other a few times during the night.

She nodded, "Yeah It's been, what at least a couple of years? It's good to see you though Danny."

She stepped forward and hugged the man, he gave the younger girl a smile returning the hug, "It's good to see you too Ava, nice jacket."

She smiled as they pulled back from the hug, "Thank you it was a gift and I absolutely love it."

Lorenzo came up on her other side, "show him the back of it..." The blonde singer nodded, turning around and lifting her hair so Daniel could see the back of the jacket.

"Damn Ava, that's so nice."

She nodded, "Yeah I nearly cried when I saw it, my papà had it custom-made for me... probably confused a few people when I almost burst into tears upon seeing it."

Daniel smiled, "Oh he for sure would have loved that... his name on a Ferrari jacket."

Ava nodded, "Yeah I know, like I told Lorenzo earlier when he said basically the same thing, he'd have eaten that shit up..."

Danny nodded, "that is so true." So Ava spoke to Danny for a few more minutes with a promise that they would catch up at some point before the weekend was over.

Lorenzo looked at Ava, "where are you staying for the weekend?"

"Fred set me up in the same hotel as the drivers and everyone else, I'm actually on the same floor as the Ferrari team."

He nodded, "Nice you can catch a ride back with us if you would like and don't already have another ride."

She smiled at him, "That works for me."

"Okay nice." As they approached the cars, they talked and decided that Ava would ride with Charles and Lorenzo would drive the other car with Arthur and Pascale.

Once inside the car, things were quiet for a bit, not like an uncomfortable silence or anything but still quiet. Ava knew that he was probably going to ask questions and she was trying to figure out the best way to answer them since she knew that Jules was his godfather.

Charles glances over at her slightly, "So how do you and Lorenzo know each other? I don't remember him ever mentioning it, is all."

There it was the question that she knew was coming... Ava bit her lip for a moment, "It's a long story, Charles, um, and honestly I've talked about it more today than I have in years, and I truthfully just don't have the energy to get into it again today, so you could ask Lorenzo about it later, or ask me again tomorrow, and I'll tell you." She just didn't want to get emotional again today, by getting into it again.

He was quiet for a moment, before he spoke, "All right then," he wanted to know but he also wanted her to be the one who told him not his brother, "so if I ask you again tomorrow you will tell me how you know Enzo?"

She nodded, "promise."

He smiled at her, "Honestly, I would much rather hear the story from you, than Enzo... so I'll ask you again tomorrow."

That made her laugh, "Okay then it's settled." They then fell into a comfortable conversation just talking about anything. overlooking the fact that she had a crush on the man, Ava found it very easy to talk to him.

They arrived at the hotel and Ava could already see the flashing lights from the cameras but was unphased she was used to this by now... Although she figured that this would spark up the rumor mill the following morning but it was fine, they could deal with that when the time came.

The two finally made it into the lobby of the hotel where they met with the others. They made their way towards the elevator and headed up to the floor they were staying on.

Ava headed to her room, to get ready for dinner with her dad.
