Fruit Punch
That's Skittles
L/N-Last name
We walked to his office and called our parents. Everybody's mom came, except mine. Mrs. Preson, Skittles's mom, and the Vanoss Crew's moms were sitting against the wall, giving death stares to their kids. The adults were on one side and we were on another. Once my dad got there, he seemed awkward in a room full of moms, but that quickly changed when the new counselor walked in.
"Hello, everybody. My name is Mr. Collins." He introduce himself, "We are here because Lui Calibre almost punched another student. However, there were seven other students sitting there, watching it instead of stopping it." He said and looked at the Vanoss Crew along with the other adults, "Fortunately, Gia Jackson, came to me before anyone got hurt."
"According to Gia, this has been going on for quite a while." Mrs. Preson said while getting up. She walked over to me and bent down so we could be face to face, and while no one can see her underwear. "(Y/n), why didn't you tell us sooner?"
"Ha, (Y/n)." Nogla laughed and rolled his eyes.
"Daithi De Nogla!" His mom screamed at him. He sat up and cleared his throat, but didn't say anything.
"As I was saying," Mrs. Preson continued, "Why have you never told us."
"I did. I told Mr. Smith, but he said ignore them." I explained, "At the beginning of the year, you said to go to the counselor if you had any problems, because the teachers won't be able to help you."
She bit her bottom lip, realizing I was right. She looked at me once, then stood up and walked back to her seat. The room was really quiet, all you could hear was the track team running out side. She put her head in her hands and whispered, "Sorry."
"Mrs. Preson, don't blame yourself." One of the boy's mom said.
"Who else is there to blame? This wouldn't have happened if I'd just listen." She cried standing back up.
"It's not your fault," Another mom was talking, "You're right, the students should go to the counselor first and if it's still going on, just let the students know that they can still go to you for help."
"Yes it is!" She yelled.
All of a sudden, they all started talking at once and then they started crying. Every one of them stood up and started huddling in a circle, still sobbing and mumbling about being a bad mother/principle. Basically every mom in the room, just mentally broke, and there's no glue around to fix it.
Mr. Collins, Skittles's mom, and my dad looked horrified. The Vanoss Crew looked confused and heart broken-which I can understand, no one should be emotionless when they see the one who raised, feed, cared for, and loved them, crying. I looked at Skittles and she looked at me, then we looked back at the sobbing mothers.
"Look what we did." Delirious said trying to hold it together, but was failing.
"We're the worst!" Moo cried
"I'm sorry, Mommy!" Wildcat screamed.
They all started bawling. Mini and Vanoss fell to the floor, Wildcat and Basically started to throw stuff, Moo was banging his head on the wall, Lui was punching the wall, and Delirious and Nogla were hugging onto the pillows on the couch they were sitting on. As a good mothers would, they comforted there screaming children. Mr. Collins, Skittles's mom, and my dad still looked horrified. I looked at Skittles and she looked at me, then we looked back at the madness of sadness.
Everyone calmed down and took a seat. Mrs. Preson stepped forward.
"Even though there was a scene of bullying," She began, "I think we should see if this will happen again. It's Friday and there's a dance tonight. If it's okay with everybody, we should just forget about this and go on with our everyday lives."
Everybody nodded.
"However," Mr. Collins said, "if this ever happens again, there will be consequences."
Everybody nodded.
Later that night, Skittles and I got ready for the dance. It's not like a Valentine's Day dance, nor a Halloween dance, so we didn't dress up fancy. It was just a fundraiser dance, so we wore this:
After we were done, my dad took us to the dance. It was in the gym like all the other dances. There was a table with cookies and drinks, but you had to get it yourself. There was a lot of kids there, but there was only two or three teachers.
The music was pretty good, but the dance floor was crowded, so Skittles and I stood on the side lines and lip synced the songs. I got thirsty and told Skittles I'd be by the snack table. She nodded and waited for me.
I went over there and grabbed a cup, filled it up, and took a sip.
"Enjoying the fruit punch?" Basically said while leaning on the table.
He scared me at first, but then I said, "I-I guess. Why?"
"Because here's the fruit." Wildcat said. I was about to turn around until he poured the freezing, red fruit punch over my head.
"And here's the punch." Vanoss said and grabbed my shirt. The last thing I saw was a fist coming at my face, then I fell to the ground.
I looked up at tall eight of them, laughing at me. My nose was bleeding, but I didn't care. The music stopped and I think everyone saw me. They were about to walk away, but I've had enough! They treated me like I was nothing, they made fun of my real name, and they bullied my best friend...
I'm. Done.
I stood up and grabbed the back of Vanoss's shirt. I forcefully turned him around and grabbed his collar.
I punched him square in the face, and knocked him out!
Everybody gasped and I drooped his body to the floor. I looked at the rest of them-blood all over my face-and stared them down, daring them to try and come at me.
"(Y/n), Tyler, Brock, Craig, Johnathan, Daithi, Lui, and Marcel!" I heard Mr. Collins yell, "My office, now!"
Delirious and Wildcat grabbed Vanoss and they headed to Mr. Collins's office. The nurse and Skittles came to me and helped me clean off, but I was still sticky. I walked to his office after they were done.
When I got there, all of our parents were there. I sat where I sat before and Mr. Collins stood up. He walked over to Vanoss-who was still unconscious-and knelt down to be face to face with him, then he looked at me.
"What were you thinking, to punch another student?" He asked.
"They poured juice on me,and then punched me." I said
"So that gives you the right to punch him back?" He asked standing up and turned his whole body to me.
"Okay," I said standing up and getting in his face, "Let me get some fruit punch, pour it on you, then while you're still confused about what'a going on, I'm going to punch you in the face. What are you going to do? Just sit there and take it, or punch me back ten times worst?"
He looked at me for a second, then back at Vanoss. He stood there for a while and looked back at me, "I'm not gonna lie, I would've punched you back."
I nodded and sat down. He looked at the others.
"What was the plan behind this? Did you really think I wasn't going to find out, and you were just going to get away with it?" He asked.
"We were just messing around." Mini said trying to defend him and his friends.
"Who poured the punch on her?"
None of them talked, I knew it was Wildcat, and so did they, but I can understand why they didn't say it was him. Wildcat clearly wasn't going to rat himself out, and neither were is friends; Wildcat has muscles and is bigger than anyone in this room.
Mr. Collins turned to me, "Do you know who poured the punch on you?"
I looked at them and they looked at me. I looked at Wildcat in particular, he gave me this if-you-say-anything-I-will-kill-you-look, but then again, we were in a room full of adults. I looked back at Mr. Collins.
"It was Wildcat."
He looked confused, "Who?"
I pointed at Wildcat.
He still looked confused, "Wildcat?"
That's when I realized, he didn't know our nicknames. The bad thing is, though, I don't know there real names. I think the crew just found this out too, because they were looking at him like he was stupid.
"It was Tyler." Someone-guessing his mom-said.
Mr. Collins looked at him and the confused look turned real mad real quick. "Please tell me, Tyler, why you thought pouring punch over her head was a fun idea."
"Well, I wasn't the one who came up with it." He said.
"Then wh-" He began to say, but Vanoss started moaning.
"Umm...W-What happen...Where am..." He was getting quieter every time he tried to finish a sentence, and he was looking around the room like it was new to him.
Mr. Collins walked over to him, then he turned to the other adults, "Can everyone except Mr. (L/n) and Mrs. Fong please step outside for a moment?" They nodded and got up, I was about to leave the room until he put his hand in front of me. "You should stay in here too, Miss (L/n)."
I nodded at went back to my seat. Mrs. Fong helped Vanoss sit up and told him everything. He gave me a death glare. My dad sat next to me and Mr. Collins stood in front of us.
"Evan, why did you punch (Y/n)?"
"Because they made me."
"Who?"
"Craig and them. They said if I didn't, they where going to hurt me." He said.
He was lying, but I couldn't say anything. I just knocked him out, do you really think they would believe me? Anyway, I knew he was lying because after he punched me, he laughed about it and the ours joined in. If you're forced to do something, then you wouldn't be laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world.
"Okay," Mr. Collins said after a while, "Mrs. Fong you and Evan can leave. Sorry to waist your time."
"It's okay, but Evan," She turned to Vanoss, "you're grounded for agreeing to do it."
He nodded, "Okay."
She looked at me, "I'm sorry, (Y/n)."
"It's fine. Sorry Vanoss." I said, but he knew I wasn't sorry, he punched me first and he enjoyed it. I was going to do the same.
"Can you bring the other in on your way out?" Mr. Collins asked. She nodded and they left. Then everyone else came in.
Everybody took a seat and looked at Mr. Collins. He walked over to his desk and started moving stuff around in a drawer. Then he pulled out a pair of handcuffs.
