●●●● Bell's/(Y/N)'s POV. ●●●●
The hot sun pounded on my face through my window as my eyes peeled apart. I yawned, sitting up. Rubbing my eyes, I slowly pulled my blanket off and ascended from my comfort zone. It was nice and warm under my blanket, just not warm enough. The wind beat against the window and the birds song echoed in my ears. I made my way up and to my bathroom. The light switch was cold, and so was the bathroom tile. The room itself wasn't too bad, but not ideal. I flipped the light switch on and shivered. My arms covered my cold body. The bathtub handle creaked as I turned it on.

"A nice warm bath during sunrise should do it." I commented to myself aloud. I peered out of my bathroom, noting down a mental picture of the beautiful creamy colored beams shining onto me, emitting some nice heat for me. The pink, orange and purple tones blurred in the sky to paint a pretty picture. The bathtub filled slowly as I stepped in. Water splashed up as I slid down into the tub. I adjusted to the very nice, but hot temperature of the water. 'I'm glad I woke up early enough before breakfast to do this..' I thought to myself. Soap covered my hair and body, continuously scrubbing at myself. My radio played "Spirit In The Sky" by Norman Greenbaum very quietly. It was nice and relaxing. Staring into the sunset in a nice warm bath, listening to an amazing song. It reminded me of better times. I vaguely remembered my life before now. Adler said that he carefully chose me for this important mission, as I am one of the top Russian spy's and can decode very easily. But my memory is foggy from most of my life before then.

I hummed along to the quiet rhythm of the song. Soapy, warm water dripped down my body as I stepped out onto my mat and drained the tub. I grabbed a towel and dried myself off, heading to my room with the towel wrapped around me. There was an outfit already set up on my nightstand from the previous night, I know me too well. My towel flopped onto my bed and suddenly the door creaked open. "Bell, come down for breakfast, we've got to get st-" And there stood Adler. Russell Adler. Standing in the doorway, staring me down. Looked as if he was checking me out. I panicked and picked my towel back up to cover my body. "Jesus Christ Adler! Don't you know about knocking?! It's a thing!" I yelled, quickly stepping back from the door. His face went pale and he slammed the door. "I'm sorry Bell, I-" I sighed, cutting him off and looked at my clothes. "It's fine, just.. Don't tell anyone about this, okay? Let me get dressed and I'll be down soon." Footsteps marched away from my door slowly and I got dressed, in peace this time.

Awkwardly, I made my way downstairs and over to a chair in the kitchen. I sat down and rubbed my face with both hands. "My God.." I whispered to myself. I felt a warm hand fall onto my shoulder. My face went pale, thinking it was Adler. But when I turned around, it was just Mason. "Oh thank God, it's just you.." I sighed out. "What's that supposed to mean?" He frowned playfully. A smile crept on my face. "Nothing, I'm glad it's you, actually." He snickered. "I'm just fuckin' with ya, Bell... So, what's for breakfast?" He pulled out a chair next to me and sat down. "I'm not sure, I think Adler was fixing something up." I didn't even have to say his name to remember the look on his face. Mason got up from his chair to get some coffee from the pot that Adler had previously brewed. "Mind getting some for me?" I groaned out. "Sure thing." My head lightly tapped onto my arms, that were sprawled out on the table.

After a few minutes, a cup of coffee hit into my arm and was placed lightly onto the table. "I'm not sure how you like it, so I just put some milk and sugar in there." I moved my arm to pick up the cup and lifted my head. "Very sweet of you Mason, thank you." I took a sip and he slipped back into his chair. "Days here are long and hard, you'll need coffee multiple times a day, trust me. And you'll get used to it as well." I giggled and placed my cup back on the wooden table. "Figures." We spoke for a bit, until the others joined us at the kitchen, except for Adler and Park. They seemed to be speaking about something, over cigarettes and cups of coffee that they had previously poured themselves. Park seemed to be giggling a lot. I felt a little angry. My stomach twisted, and my mind started spinning. I've known Adler for years, but not Park. But yet Adler seemed uncomfortable around me, as if he didn't know me or something. Why? I don't know. The feeling slid off as soon as I turned back to Mason, who seemed to be smiling at Woods, just looking absolutely adorable. Am I already falling for someone? Can I? Should I...? I think so..

But my mind quickly shifted to Adler. And apparently without realizing it, so did my eyes. Because when we made eye contact it felt so.. so right. So real.. His sunglasses were off. They refused to hide his beautiful sky blue eyes. There were more to his eyes than a pair of shades that blocked his emotions. I possibly couldn't have. I like Mason. I like Mason... I... like Mason...?

Do I?

I think so..

"Bell?" A hand waved in front of my face. My face flushed as I abruptly got tied away from Adler and turned to look at Woods. "Earth to Bell. What are you doing? We've been calling your name." Mason had his back turned, getting his fix of breakfast. Woods spotted Adler and smirked at me. "Oh..-Oh, oh Woods, no. I- It's just-" I stuttered frantically, my face as red as a tomato. "No, I understand completely." He snickered. I groaned quietly and glared at Woods. Adler stepped into the room, puffing on a cigarette. "The man of the hour." Lazar commented, eating scrambled eggs as Park followed behind him. Adler slipped off his leather jacket and set it down on the counter.

"Park." Lazar smiled. "Lazar." Park turned to him and gave him a half smile, almost immediately turning around to get another cup of coffee. Adler was silent, and soon Lazar was punching a bag with Sims behind him. Woods and Mason were sitting in the back of a van chatting. And Park was at her desk, smoking a cigarette, and reviewing files. Soon enough, it was only Adler and I left in the kitchen. My face was pale, and I lost my appetite. My fork hit the eggs over and over again, shuffling them between the plate. "What's wrong Bell? Do you not like my food?" Adler put out his cigarette into an ash tray. "N-No it's not that.." I refused to face him. "Bell, I said I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better. I didn't see much." He attempted to reassure me. "Oh yeah, that'd make me feel great.." I trailed off. "Okay. Good, so can we forget it happen-" Cutting him off, I stood and turned to look at him. "If you hadn't stared at me in awe before I was able to put my towel on. Does that mean you enjoyed the view?" I left him in the kitchen, absolutely speechless. The smirk on my face told me that what I said should stay in his head forever.

Adler composed himself, stepping out of the kitchen. He tossed his jacket on his chair sitting at his desk and lit another cigarette. A figure shuffled to me slowly until he got closer. "Bell." I turned away from Mason to look at him. "Mason, may I borrow Bell for a moment?" He asked. Adler was mysterious. He was dark and deep. Showed no emotions, only when it came to Perseus. Mason had told me a lot, including our briefing that should most likely start after I got dragged to talk to Adler. "Sure thing." He smiled at me and I smiled back.

My heels turned as I got up to follow Adler. He brought me into a room remotely far from the rest of the team, and shut the door. Pulling up a chair, he blew smoke out of his mouth quietly. "No Bell. It's not that I didn't enjoy it. I think you're a very beautiful woman. But we have to keep it professional, so that we don't get in trouble. Got it?" He blurted. I blushed and covered my face, turning away. "Cat bit your tongue Bell?" I turned back around and crossed my arms. "It's not like I think you're unattractive.." Soon enough I had realized what I said and covered my mouth, wide eyes, cherry red face. Adler leaned back in his chair and chuckled. "I see. At least it's good to know that you're truthful." He soon stood from his chair, and I felt like I could barely catch my breath, in this moment, it was like he towered over me and had full control. His tall figure seemed intimidating. He once again, put out his cigarette. Adler moved one hand to the door to open it. The other laid on my waist as soon as he stood up. The other hand trailed down, almost as if to tease me. He opened the door and lifted his hand off of my ass. "Maybe I should come in without knocking more often." He smirked and walked out of the room. This time, leaving ME speechless.

I composed myself, clearing my throat and followed him back upstairs shortly after.

He really is something.
