Have you ever considered what's really in the dark? Of course, you could simply turn on the lights and much to your relief, but unsurprisingly, there's nothing. But what if there was something there? Something was always there.

I call these "creatures" Darkbeasts(not to be confused with Darkbeasts from bloodborne). Darkbeasts are beings that can only exist in darkness. Light of any kind destroys them, and as such don't emit any themselves unlike most organisms.

These creatures, due to the impossibility of us seeing them, can only be guessed in size, form, and appearance. Their behavior can also only be guessed as they tend to avoid humans; walking in a dark room with your arms outstretched hoping to bump into one of these oddities would turn up nothing. Our own natural light is enough to cause them intense pain, and may cause them to become violent. So, it is probably best that our interaction stays within the realm of imagination.

So, maybe there is something hiding under the bed, in the darkest corners, and down that dark alleyway. But...Fear to seek audience with the Darkbeasts.
