Third Person POV:

5 Years Ago:

It was drizzling. Taehyung was sobbing on the road. He had called his Hyung to pick him up earlier. He was just waiting for the other to arrive and end his misery. He really wanted to be wrapped in his protective embrace after everything that happened today.

He only talked about all his secrets to his Hyung. Of course he would. He was like a father figure to him. A father he wished to have in his life.

"TAEHYUNG!!!WATCH OUT!!"

Taehyung glanced at his left and suddenly everything turned black.

Taehyung gasped for air and sat straight in the bed. He was now at his uncle's home. He had arrived a few hours earlier and after talking to him for a long time, he finally got to rest.

Widened eyes and ragged breath, Taehyung's eyes searched for something in the dark room. He whimpered as he looked around hastily.

"Jung--" Taehyung stopped as he heard who he was about to call. Pushing the hair that was blocking his vision somehow, out of the way, he took a deep breath and lied down on his bed.

It was out of instinct. Whenever he had a nightmare, he would turn to Jungkook. It didn't stop his terrors but he felt a little less scared.

Finally taking a hold of the situation, Taehyung shifted in his sheets and longed for his touch, his soothing voice, his warm embrace and his big doe eyes.

Did Taehyung regret leaving him? No. He knows it will take a lot of time to get over their memories but he believed it was for the better.

Taehyung couldn't have stayed there any longer. Not after what happened back in Daegu. At first he didn't want to leave his homeland. It was where he spent all of his life. He just couldn't leave all of that behind but it got out of hand.

Taehyung knew he would have done something to himself if he stayed there any longer. He couldn't live with the guilt and the events he tried hard to forget but were being reminded to him constantly.

To others, it may seem a rash decision , taken in the heat of moment but he had been contemplating this for a long time.

Each time Jackson bullied him he wanted to run away but was a coward to do so.

Now that he finally got the chance, he didn't let it go waste. Although he will miss his friends, his granny, his school, Jungkook, he thinks it will all be worth it. At the end of the day, he should only care for himself. right?

Many might think he's being selfish but being selfish is not selfish, it is essential. He needs to be selfish in order to go through the day. In order to live through these fierce steps.

He just hopes nothing happens to make him think other wise.

Present Time:

Third Person POV:

Jungkook started banging on the door when it still won't open even after trying for a good 2 minutes.

After a while the knob clicked and it opened, Jungkook and Taehyung stepped out of the room and started following Yoongi who had opened the door for him.

Jungkook was speechless when he saw the number of intruders smiling at him oh-so-innocently.

"We came to cheer you up!" Jimin smiled from the living room, sitting besides Namjoon and Seokjin who were at each other's throats while playing Mario cart in his living room with his game Consolers.

"Oh trust me! You are doing the complete opposite!" He rolled his eyes before moving out of the living room and into the kitchen, some pain killers in his hand to cure his throbbing headache.

He wanted to bang his head when he met Hoseok there standing near the gas stove.

"Does my apartment look like a hotel to you?"

"We are here to hype you up!", Hoseok shrugged and turned to the opposite direction.

"Sure. You're doing really well!" Jungkook sarcastically muttered. He took out the water bottle from his refrigerator and proceeded to drink it, not forgetting to take his medicine before that.

"You alright?" Yoongi entered the kitchen and whispered to Jungkook patting him gently on the back.

NoI'm notI want to cry thousand times.

"Of course I am. Why won't I be?" Jungkook turned to him and responded confidently but Yoongi could see just how much of a truth his statement offered.

"You can talk to me anytime, you know that right?" he further assured and Hoseok just smiled a subtle grin at the corner, feeling happy at witnessing such a wholesome interaction.

"I know...thanks hyung!" Jungkook meekly whispered and Yoongi just caressed his hair, careful not to touch the band-aids around his forehead.

"By the way, you drank too much last night, Jimin told me, you have to go for a health checkup now. It was about time you go, anyways!" Yoongi scolded playfully, wanting to lighten up the gloomy atmosphere and
Jungkook was more than thankful for that.

"Yeah. I'll go tomorrow...to the hospital!", Jungkook announced and the other just nodded curtly.

"Now let's go. The others are planning the vacation." The shorter male dragged the raven head to the chaotic living room.

.
.
.

"What do you mean Seokjin's adventure plan?" Jimin glared at his brother who was holding a piece of paper and a pen in his hand.

Seokjin glared back at the younger with the same intensity, neither of them backing down.
Jungkook quietly placed himself next to Taehyung who was trying hard not to laugh, looking between the two males, who sit crisscrossed on the carpet.

"Why are they fighting again?" Jungkook whispered near Taehyung's ear and the latter flinched at the sudden presence next to him.

He looked at Jungkook who glanced at him with a questioning gaze, wanting answers.

"Oh! They can't decide what to name this trip!", Taehyung laughed slowly not wanting to infuriate the glaring males.

"Seriously? How old are they?" Jungkook leaned back on the couch and rubbed it gently to sooth his headache, the pain killers were taking a lot of time.

"Stop fighting both of you! Why do we even need a name?" Yoongi interfered in the sibling's quarrel when neither of them were backing down.

"Exactly!" Hoseok agreed wholeheartedly.

"So...where are we going?" Jungkook decided to make his presence known and all the head turned to him.

"You're back?" Seokjin asked and Jungkook nodded.

"Ok. So we are going to a beach house for a long vacation after a week!" Seokjin being the eldest decided to lead the team and the others could only nod or hum in agreement.

"And who's going?" Jungkook again butted in.

"All of us!"

"Why?"

"So you want to kick some of us out? Damn!! I knew it. I knew you would do something like this to all of us. I should've known better." Seokjin gasped and the rest of them just shook their heads before getting back to planning the schedule.

They were used to it.

"Ok! So now we have to divide the roles." Namjoon announced as he started scribbling on some random paper.

All of them were huddled around the small table, eyes focused on the roles.

"I will assign the roles!" Seokjin volunteered and the rest nodded like obedient puppies. No one was suitable for this job except Jin.

"First is food!"

It was the most important role. The group watched intently on who was to be selected for this role.

"Min Yoongi!" The eldest announced happily and the rest laughed, more than just happy with his decision.

"Why me?" Yoongi groaned and several giggles were heard, seeing his devastated face.

"It's about time you use that black card of yours!", Seokjin muttered in a 'that's-final-and-you-dont-have-a-choice' voice before moving on to the next category.

"The second is rooms!"

This category was just as important. The guest house can't possibly have seven separate rooms ready to use so of course they would have to split into groups of two's or three's. This person would have the option to pair the boys up so the small group was looking up to this one.

"It goes to Park Jimin!" Everyone except Jimin groaned who stood up and did a victory dance, a blinding smile on his face.

He was forced to sit down back when he accidentally hit Namjoon in the stomach while doing some weird flips.

"The third is leader!" Seokjin went on to decide the third category. None of them were interested in this role. It was boring to plan where to go and when to come back, at least to them it was too much of a hassle.

"Kim Namjoon!" Namjoon just nodded his head at the obvious announcement. He was the most responsible among the rest of them.

Seokjin knew better than anyone else that Jungkook couldn't be trusted as a leader, more like the planner of the group. Who knows where the all of them might end up to complete some weird fantasies of his.

"The fourth is Cook," Seokjin proceeded to scribble on the paper messily.

He didn't even have to announce this. It was more than obvious as to who was gonna cook for them. Without burning the whole house down.

"None other than me!" The others nodded in agreement, Taehyung was so excited to taste his food after all these years.

Seokjin used to cook for them back when they were in high school. Taehyung missed these moments a lot. Adapting to foreign country was not easy, definitely not easy when you had million of other things to care about.

"Next is cleaning!" The only ones left were Taehyung, Jungkook and Hoseok now. It was crystal clear who was gonna be this one.

Hoseok already signed and accepted his fate.

"Jung Hoseok!" Taehyung and Jungkook released the breaths they were holding. It would've been a disaster if either of them was in Hoseok's place.

"And this wraps our role assigning segment!". Seokjin folded the paper in two halves and glanced around to everyone.

"Oh! And Jungkook has to take care of himself and not stir troubles!" He further announced when the boys looked at him with questioning gazes.

"And Taehyung?", Namjoon questioned and everyone backed him up.

"He ,too, has to take care of the disaster called Jeon Jungkook. Like changing the dressing of his wounds and such!"

Taehyung was a bit reluctant about the whole thing. They still weren't close enough for that yet Seokjin had put him in such a situation.

He discreetly looked at the other who was in disbelief. After processing the moment he opened his mouth to speak up.

"Did you just call me a disaster? And why are you trying to babysit me?"

"It's called looking after you and yes I called you a disaster. Where's the lie though?"

Both of them went back and forth, bickering, teasing each other, even passing harmless insults here and there. Namjoon tried calm his raging boyfriend down.

After a few unsuccessful attempts, they finally calmed down and arranged the rest of things.

"Are we all going to travel in the same car?" Jimin asked Namjoon who was in charge of the vacation planning.

"Of course. It's no fun if we use different cars, we're gonna use Jungkook's car!".

"Why mine?"

"Just because!"

Hope you enjoyed!!!💖💖
