HEART NO KUNI NO ALEX || 1
I looked around, left to right. On second thought, this might be a little harder than I first anticipated.
"Who are you?" I heard a voice ask. I turned around to see a man with long hair, wearing alot of clocks.
"Er... I'm Alex..." I replied. He raised an eyebrow. "Alice's brother." I added.
His eyes widened. "Alice... has a brother?"
"Yup and a bratty younger sister, too."
"What are you doing here? Why isn't Alice with you?"
"Well, Peter grabbed the wrong person... He'd only realised until we arrived." I looked at him, "By the way, who are you?"
"My name is Julius Monrey." He said calmly, his voice somewhat monotone. I bit my lip, "Julius... Julius.... Ah! The resident of the clock tower and the one who fixes the broken clocks?"
"Alice told you about us?"
"Of course~!" I smiled, "She loved it here. She always told me about this place, along with the people in it."
Julius invited me in. Cozy place, so long as you ignored the fact that it was freezing. "So, how is she?" He asked as I sat down.
"She's feeling better about Lorina's death, although, I think she still blames herself, a little."
He smiled. Oh, wow, he has nice teeth. "I'm glad she's alright. That girl, always making me worry." I laughed, "Yeah, sorry about that."
Suddenly, the door burst open and a man in red came tumbling through.
"Hey Julius~!" He smiled. He looked at me, "Eh? Who's this?"
"Alice's brother." Julius sighed, "What are you doing here, Ace?"
"Brother, eh?" He smirked wickedly, "Nice to meet you."
"Yeah... Nice to meet you too."
He then looked back to Julius, "Eh?" He tapped his lips, "Why am I here...?" And then, as if he had a light bulb moment, he looked at Julius, "Clocks!"
He handed Julius a bag full of broken, bloody clocks. I didn't react like Alice did, which was shocked and surprised.
"Wow. You're busier than Alice made you out to be," I muttered.
"She also told you about my job then, I presume?" He said grimly. I nodded. A smirk appeared on Ace's face, "Interesting."
I didn't trust Ace. Alice told me about him. ̶H̶e̶'̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶t̶o̶t̶a̶l̶ ̶y̶a̶n̶d̶e̶r̶e̶ He was going to kill Alice, but then he didn't because he wouldn't be able to hear her heart beat if she was dead? Bull shit! I don't trust this guy at all. He's hot, but weird as hell.
Ace left- thank god-- and then I was watching Julius work. He said that I could stay in Alice's room, since the clock tower was probably the only place in The Country Of Hearts where I'd be able to get a proper nights sleep. Not sure what that meant, but if Alice slept here then it's probably the most normal place in TCoH.
I went into the room. It wasn't too small, nor was it too big. It was a good size. There were pictures of Alice with people with 'roles'. I looked at one of them. There were twins, probably Dee and Dum, with the Cheshire Cat—who's name I can't remember. B.... Boris, was it? I sighed as I laid down. I want to explore. But I don't want to get into trouble. I want to meet people. But I don't want to be killed.
...
How the hell did Alice survive here?!
